Brief Personality: Serious for the most part, but he's not without a sense of humor. He likes to consider himself a warrior, but he'll learn how little he knows soon enough. He is protective of his sister and respectful toward his aunt, otherwise he tends to question authority when confronted with it.
Brief History: At his mother's request he and his sister taken from the pride to live with his father's people. They have spent their entire lives traveling there.

Brief Personality: Snarky and overconfident, Odd considers himself the ultimate catch. Afterall, who else is so handsome and clever that the women turn away in awe? His time spent creeping through the brush concocting new and more efficient traps has worn hard on his body, with patches of fur and bits of toes missing and strange rashes scattered throughout. His dependence on mint only sweetens the deal.

Brief Personality: Jama is a good ole boy. He enjoys the simple pleasures in life, and finds a great deal of gratification in his work. He isn't interested in climbing ranks or keeping thralls or any such thing. He just wants to be left to do his work, raise his kids, and remain the familial authority of his children. He gets along fine with just about anyone, lets his kids fight their own battles, and is perfectly capable of defending himself if need be. (And he doesn't fuss about rules... be prepared for some nasty surprises if you take on Jama!) The one thing that will set him off, however, is if anyone, for whatever reason, disses his deceased mate. He'll fly into a roaring rage over that, and blood WILL be shed. He might take a new lady into his life someday, but he'll always have a soft spot (probably his ONLY soft spot) for his sweetums.
Brief History: He made his way into the pride as a youngster, did his share of fighting and brawling, and fell deeply in love with a lovely lioness born into the pride. A handful of sweet years were theirs, resulting in a single litter of three cubs, before a hippo caught his unsuspecting sweetums and killed her. Jama learned early on that his specialty was in camoflauge and subterfuge. He learned to make useful things out of natural items, blending them into their backgrounds with ease. He makes blinds, nets, traps, and accessories that will assist reavers with blending into their surroundings, if they so choose. He's taken great pains to teach at least some aspects of this trade to his kids, especially his boys, so that they can be as stunningly successful as he.

Brief Personality: Terribly, painfully shy, Sekai has a difficult time interacting with, well, everyone except her mother and her sister. She is prone to anxiety attacks when surrounded by too many people and she worries all the time about everyone. She also tends to feel horribly guilty about things which are completely beyond her control and not even her fault.
Brief History: She grew up in a traditionally structured pride with a mother who was always somewhat ashamed of her and her sister because of the way they had been conceived, but she was still safe and happy. They were separated by accident and Sekai wandered the rogue lands since, until she was captured by Tallskog and brought back to be a gift to his betrothed.

Brief Personality: He lives for pleasure and love, and no matter how many times he is scolded, threatened, bribed, or otherwise induced to be productive and useful, he will quickly lose interest in those tasks which are not fun and exciting. He is basically an easy-going, lazy sort of lion who would truly like to lead a life of leisure punctuated by periods of extreme excitement. To reach this end he doesn't mind stretching and bending the truth, though he prefers not to tell actual lies. If he gets caught or in trouble, he will squirm and cajole and generally do anything he can to get out of being punished. There is nothing fun about being punished, and when he's being punished is the best time to catch this irrepressible boy being sullen and sulky. He is not really very picky about his targets for his romantic advances, and has the gumption to put the moves on older women who are secure in their position as well as younger, less experienced types. He is most definitely a lover, rather than a fighter.
Brief History: Born into the pride to a young mother who really had no business being pregnant, Fon Youn was named by someone else who hoped he would grow up to display hidden depths of character that his flighty mother never did. So far he has been quite the disappointment in that respect. The pride dispersed just as he was beginning to have shadowy visions that were truly visions. He was captured by a viking party some time after this and given to Brynja when his seer abilities became known.
