"I don't believe I need your permission to do my duty to the Republic, Mr. Issian." Thessa remarked to the Bothan. "What I do believe is that you're tying up the line, so if you'll excuse me, I have to be going." With that, Thessa shut off the feed and shook her head.
"The RSIS seems to be overstepping its bounds when it tries to order a Diplomatic Envoy around." Thessa said as she turned to leave the bridge. "I'll have to file a complaint later. Tap into the Listening Post's signal and give them our authorization codes. I'll send my message from the Conference Room holocom."

"His name is Krosis," said Khyber, with an even tone and emotions projecting a scientific detachment. It was a well-practiced facade that hid the deeply buried anger and even hatred that he felt towards the man. "That information alone took me months to uncover. He has been a Sith operative in Republic space for over a decade; causing unrest, instability, and weakening critical infrastructure that would be needed in the current conflict. In nearly every undertaking Krios left no signs of Sith influence, no proof of his involvement, no loose ends. Only once did he attack the Republic directly. That was the attack on the Coronet City Temple, one year ago."

Scrutinizing the man before him, Caisar pondered the information given. "I see..." He said, the Jedi was resolute and determined in his mission, but information such as this, it didn't make much sense as he took apart the words Khyber said. Such intel, even a little, would be critical to defense, but this one hunted the man himself. His attention was however tested and then drawn by the heavy-increase in activity in the ship and the contingent around.

"Something seems to be going on." He stated, rising from his chair and went to the door. Opening it he asked the guard what the situation was to, be replied with a negative acknowledgment. "I need to see Agent Issian and the RAF commander then. You will show me to them immediately." Caisar ordered, the marine peering to the other and then into the room and nodded, and commed it in.

Caisar turned to those in the room with him, Khyber, Alyn, and Zaala.
"It seems this interruption is one that is required, I aplogize, but I sense there is something important. You may join me if you wish."

Location: Minos Cluster
Personal Location: Bridge of the Indefatigable
Accompanying ships: 2 Wayfarers.

As the frigate neared its completion of the forth orbit of Travnin, Warren waited as the last of the demolition charges were placed. A damn transport, huh? Whatever it had on it had been jettisoned, and a fair chunk was either retrieved, or lost to burn in the atmosphere and planetary shielding. Warren transmitted his intentions to the Falcon, expecting little to no resistance in regards to his plans. Hw knew that the boarding team probably didn't enjoy the idea of someone to step around (having spent quite a lot of time mucking with less than savory folk, joint operations always felt like a bad dance partner), but their duty here had taken enough time as needed.

"Make plans to swing past the Adarlon system in the sector; there's bound to be pirate activity until someone beams us newer orders."

The jedi was somewhat disappointed; the Force (or his luck, if one believed in such things) was just really wanting to test his limits today. Though a Sentinel, this was a much stronger challenge than outwitting a beast, or outmaneuvering a group of kids. Having already spent some of his energy, Jian clenched his teeth in silence as he felt the metallic pack click. Trusting his senses, he let himself flow with the Force in its power, and proceeded in swift motions to produce the dancing motions which followed.

Bringing his hand up across his body, small pockets opened up, as his hand summoned the Force to call his saber to his hand, igniting it and freeing several small weights held on a leather guard upon his wrist. In the same fluid motion, the free hand reached for the backpack, undoing the clasp which kept the items inside, while beginning to spin towards his left, in a half step retreat. Three small chunks of metal lifted up, as the holoprojector in his pack began to fly out first. A yellow blade sprang to life, to split it in two, while the other hand extended out in an open palm to fling not only the broken projector, but the small farium weighs that Jian had just cut free towards the armored man.

In the second rotation of Jian's body, the outstretched hand snapped forward to grab the crystal that was just now freeing itself from his pack and cut another three weights from the leather guard on his ankle to throw towards the armored guard at high speeds, pocketing the crystal into a pouch inside his robes, lifting the blade up in a defensive stance, hoping that the distraction would work. In two circular motions, he had stepped back twice, increasing the distance between them. The room had darkened with the light of their sabers, as he tried to analyze how strong his opponents defense was with the simple test of the dartlike metals.

Though hard to see, Cinn could sense the threat hurled at him by the young Jedi. Shrapnel loosed from what seemed like weighted equipment. It was a minor threat, but Cinn threw up a gauntleted forearm to shield his visor from the debris, metal darts failing to gain purchase against his plates. He then swept his free arm out in a swift slash, casting the remaining debris out of the air with a powerful Telekinetic wave.
"You have no hope of escaping me, boy." Cinn declared as he ominously strode towards Jian, the red energy blade clutched in his right gauntlet casting eerie shadows as the Sith warrior moved. "Like your companion in the city, your fate was sealed the moment you set foot upon this world."

Unable to directly reach the Senate Committee that had sent her to the Minos Cluster, Thessa left a detailed report of what occurred on the Capital world. Deciding to await a response, the Ambassador directed her ship to dock with the Minos Home for refueling and to bide time until the Senate returned her call.

Dressed in her ambassador garb, the young woman passed through the airlock connecting her ship to the freighter, leaving the maintenance of her vessel to her crew. Flanked by her Protocol Droid and the captain of her guard, the Ambassador stepped onto the freighter and frowned, taking things in.

"You would think the Republic could do better than retrofitting a musty old barge like this." She said critically, walking deeper into the "Mobile Headquarters" of this supply fleet. "I believe I've seen smuggler ships kept in bettter condition than this."

Jian's face showed no real change of expression. His eyes glanced down across the armored one's stature as he backed himself a step for each one that the red goliath made forward. He couldn't ascertain for the moment whether the sith was just baiting him with information, or telling the truth; in his experience, it was more than likely both, twisted information meant to mess him up. His eyes focused back on the plates which moved and walked, as he felt the air pressure change from entering the larger chamber.

"Did you forge that armor yourself?" he asked, finally making a response to the sith.

Sythica reported to the Z-man. He looked over her and the sith girl. The helmet hid whatever expression he had on his face.

"Nice work on shutting down that place. The rest of the forward assault will secure this place for a landing zone. We have new orders." The sargeant pulled a small holotransmitter from his belt. The blue projection popped up with a crude map from orbit and the layout of the land.

"We are here," he said pointing to the fields. "Comm relays are here, here, here, and here. We're supposed to take these two. I'll lead first unit, while Woods will lead the second unit. You two, with woods. We need to send up signals to allow artillery to bombard these positions. Understood?"

Squad objectives:
- Secure an LZ.
- Shut down comm transmitters
- Destroy air defenses
- Remove the main communication tower.
- Secure spaceport

Alyn sighed, thus far they'd just followed the jedi around the ship doing little really. Glancing at Zaala showed that she'd been getting more and more nervous by the minute so he heaved a sigh and shook his head. "Could you get one of these troopers to show us our gear and quarters if we got any?"

"This armor is my heritage." Cinn said as he slowly advanced upon Jian. "With it, my lightsaber and my skill, I will tear down your feeble Republic and bring back the Sith Empire of old, the one you Jedi sought to destroy. A pity your order has grown so weak since that time. I have seen Decrepit old men, wanton harlots, and now a frightened child. Pathetic."
The Sith was taunting Jian, prodding at his emotions and attempting to get the Jedi to reveal something worthwhile, or get him riled up to fight. If Jian gave in to his anger and fear, Emotions Cinn had mastered, he would be struck down as easily as the child Cinn claimed he was, and while Cinn didn't need to make this fight any easier, he did want to test this fool's resolve.

Once the investigation team was away with all pertinent data, the Captain went ahead and called back to McJump. "Alright, we're done. Thank you for the cooperation. If we find anything of use, we'll send you a copy, orders permitting. What's your next move, if I might ask?" He was curious. Mainly because he wanted to see how McJump would respond, perhaps try and track down the task force. He personally knew that he had to establish contact with the Senate, and prepare for either emergency evac, or hunkering down.

“Yes, Sergeant,” came Nova’s reply. There was little else to say to the commanding officer now that they had been given new orders. If anything Nova seemed glad to be getting into the city, but of course any emotion that would’ve betrayed her was hidden by the helmet she wore. She was actually getting used to the new armor even though she had previously thought it would be a problem. She looked to Sythica to point out which one was “Woods” because its not like the soldiers wore name tags on their armour. Getting to know everyone was going to prove rather challenging for Nova if she couldn’t see anybodies faces.

There really wasn't anything important on board that ship. The scuttle order had been activated, as the Rodian began to disintegrate into a load of flames and explosions. Warren cast a sidelong glance, guessing the obvious: the Gundark had probably spent the entire time while the slicers were doing their job pilfering everything explosive to make an impressive display.

He's probably grinning down in the deck right now.

Of course, now he had to respond to the ever inquisitive commander. "My move is to continue my routes as planned. The Minos cluster can't defend itself, and we've wasted enough time here. Wherever that fleet came from, they got knocked around butt good. The Indefatigable still has her rounds to make, Captain. I suggest that you consider standing guard here, since that is most likely what the command will suggest. Your signal can probably relay through the planetary comm stations now that the jamming field is down. There's no way they could have taken out every single one of them in a raiding strike like the one they had, not on the capital. Indefatigable out."

Warren pointed towards the crew. "You, prepare to make the Jump. Ensign, you have control of the bridge. I will be in my quarters, boning up on my holos of strategic theorems."

Jian was not used to Dun Moch; if it were someone else, chances are it would have riled them to some form of emotion. However, despite not knowing the technique when it came and having no defense, the psychological attack left very little effect upon the boy, aside from generic confusion.

"Rather strange, you saying that. If you call the Order weak, why is it that you use armor to ward off my attacks. Are you not confident enough in your own skills and fortitude to fight with skin exposed to the elements?" Jian rebutted, asking the question honestly. Considering Cinn tried to call him a frightened child, Jian quickly had a flash of doubt. But then a small lightbulb went off in his head... Cinn couldn't sense his emotions.

"At least I know you aren't reaching out with the force that much, otherwise you'd know exactly how I feel," Jian said, a smile growing on his face as he backed up even further into the chamber. Upon reaching the Battle Hydra's corpse, he stopped, digging his feet into the ground with the classic opening pose of Shii-Cho. "If you are confident you can defeat me, come at me."

An invisible iron grasp closed itself around Jian's throat, choking the life out of him and dragging him up off the ground as Cinn continued his almost casual advance upon the boy, Lightsaber in hand.

"I wasn't intending to fight a Jedi welp today. I had my eyes on much larger, more dangerous prey. I intended to take the life of the beast behind you. However, since you have deprived me of my quarry, I suppose you will have to take its place."

Cinn continued to draw slowly closer, letting Jian hang in the air choking and helpless to resist the death advancing upon him.

"Oh, of course..." Caisar responded to Alyn's request, nodding to the Marine in affirmation."I'll meet up with you later then, hopefully this will turn out to be little more than a drill." He said looking toward Zaala for a moment sympathetically. He hoped sorely that she would relax while he was away, her mistrust was not entirely unexpected, but the bluntness of it slightly put him off. With a small bow, he turned to be escorted to the command deck by the first guard while the second hung back for the two.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Thessa disembarked her ship, an young ensign in Republic Navy colors approached her.
"Miss, I've been instructed to show you the way to the communications and command deck, if you will." He stated after saluting.
