Keiko started to protest, but by then, Sub was long gone. "Well, that was quick," I sighed. "You sure you're up for this?'
"Yeah," Keiko nodded, though I thought I detected a hint of defeat in her voice. "I really hope I beat him, too. I wanna see how I stand against your team."
"The majority of which has some serious evolving to do, mind you," I explained. "But either way, this should be interesting."
After a moment by ourselves, we eventually followed Sub down to the battlefield, though the elevator ride seemed to take forever. "Oh, I almost forgot. What did you want to show me?"
"Oh, yeah. It's on the second floor. It'll hafta wait until the fight," I told her, almost forgetting myself.
"Oh, okay," Keiko shrugged, not letting it bother her.
"Alright, we're here," I said as Keiko and I entered the battlefield, Keiko taking her place and letting out Cutie and Natalia. "This one didn't get to fight last time," Keiko nodded at Sub, motioning to Cutie.

Sub would smile as Keiko arrived and released her Pokemon, the Dark One eying her choices critically. "Easily your two strongest. Hm, guess I should use some of my most powerful ones as well." He said with a chuckle as he took out two Dusk Ball and tossed them onto the field.
"Dooom!" Howled his faithful canine, Edgar, the hound snarling at the opposition.
"Bi-SHARP!" Shouted his loyal 'bodyguard', Allan, the Bisharp saluting his trainer on release.
"Time to bring out two of the E.A.P., too bad the third member can't join us." He said, chuckling a bit. What does E.A.P. stand for? "I guess I'll start this show. Edgar, use Smog. Allan, serenade our foes with Metal Sound." The Dark One commanded.
Without delay the pair would carry out their trainer's commands, Edgar promptly exhaling a thick cloud of poisonous gas which would quickly engulf the battlefield, not only making it difficult to see but harming those who breath it in, good thing Allan was a Steel type. Speaking of the Bisharp he would remain in place in the cloud of poison, taking in a deep breath before giving off a 'battle cry' which sound like a car falling down a flight of metal steps, what a horrible sound. |

I couldn't help but scowl at Sub's choices. "Looks like I fell in the same trap. ...well, relying on type advantage against you would likely make things worse, anyway. Rala, Double Team. Spread yourself around. Haku, Work Up. Break a sweat."
"Ooh, haven't used this move since I was real little," Rala mused before teleporting around the battlefield, leaving energy duplicates that looked exactly like her. Haku, however, imbued his own body with energy, improving both his physical and mental strength.
"Kick his butt, Terashi!" Keiko yelled. I smirked at that - she didn't feel like she was over her loss yet, but she was certainly excited to see me in battle again.
