Micha didn't need a lot of space. After all it wasn't like he was going to be wine and dining his clients. Let alone holding parties where he worked and lived. He wasn't a social person. Micha's view of social gathering worried him. He hated crowds and would definitely be prone to drinking if he had to suffer through parties. Micha would not make an excellent host more of a grumpy one. What mattered to him was not the size of his kitchen. It wasn't as if he cooked all the time anyway. He could tolerate something small. Micha laughed softly as Samuel teased him about how many bedrooms his house had. ”Hmm, well I'm sorry, your Highness.” He spoke teasing Samuel. Micha hardly cared how many rooms were in Samuel's house after all it wasn't like he saw them all.

Samuel knew the male didn't require as much space as him. It was simply what he was used to. He liked the obnoxious amount of space his homes gave him. Micha on the other hand, his smaller homes seemed to suit him rather well. He also understood that it wasn't as though Micha would throwing lavish parties or hosting many guest outside of himself. He liked that Micha wasn't terribly social. To be frank, he knew more than enough people to be social for the both of them. Though he could imagine what the male might be like if he shoved in to too many of his socialite parties. Micha needn't worry much about those. At most he attended maybe one or two a year. Anymore and he'd have to shoot himself as he couldn't stand those sort of people. Just because he was used to dealing with them did not mean that he had to like them. Samuel chuckled once more as the male teased him. "That's more like it." he teased back. Reaching across the table, he covered males hand with his own. He was quite tempted to kiss him, but figured he could wait until later. Sighing contently, he smiled at the male as his next question came to mind. "So you know what kind of place you want, you have an idea of how big you want it. Any idea what part of the city you want to live in?" he asked curiously, moving the conversation along.

Jepsen was trying to see everything from Ally’s point of view. However it was hard seeing as Ally didn’t seem the relationship type. He didn’t see why Ally bothered if he didn’t mean it. Jepsen had no intention of playing the game of referee when it came to being between Ally and Liam. He hardly cared if Liam and Ally got back together. If anything he hoped they didn’t. Jepsen didn’t think Liam was good for Ally, especially seeing all he did was hurt him. He watched as Ally turned in his seat to face forward. Jepsen looked around the neighborhood a little. He took notice of the gates leading into the entrance of a housing area. Jepsen glanced toward Ally as he handed him a key. He could only guess it was to open the gates. Jepsen took the key from him, as he pulled up to the gates. He stopped next to a post which held the opener for the gate. Jepsen slide the key over an opening hearing a click. He handed the key back to Ally, as he waited for the gates to open. Once they opened he entered the gates, continuing to drive toward Ally’s house. Jepsen was not going to let Ally walk, even if that meant driving back here tomorrow and driving Ally to his car back at the diner.

Currently at the moment, Micha had a few ideas on where he wanted to stay. He had loved the area before where he lived. Micha didn't know if he could move from there. At the moment, he was staying in a hotel near Long Island. He found he rather hated the area. Micha wanted somewhere where he could explore the city. He liked the idea of Queens as well, but it was too far to travel. Micha didn’t plan on doing a lot of partying with Samuel, at least he hoped now. He would probably stick by Samuel’s side the entire time or hide. Micha laughed softly as Samuel teased him. He watched as Samuel slide a hand across the table covering his own. Micha slipped his hand away from himself, as he turned it over lacing their fingers together as he held it. He smiled a little to himself mostly as he sat there, enjoying his time with Samuel. Micha listened as Samuel questioned him changing the subject. He didn’t mind however it was to be expected. ”As for where I want, that would be Manhattan. Now for how big, perhaps something a little over two thousand square foot. At least somewhere with three-four bedrooms. “ Micha spoke listing off a few things he wanted. He had an idea what he wanted, but that didn’t mean he would find it.

Alaine doubted Jepsen would ever see things from his view. He seemed set in having his mind made up. Alaine had been trying with Liam, and it got him nowhere. He didn't think he was all to blame for what went wrong with them as Liam had been half-assing it as well. He didn't expect Jepsen to be his life coach or whatever, and he certainly wasn't going back to Liam. He'd rather choke on a d**k than try that again. Alaine held out his gate key as they neared his community. He was a bit surprised the male wasn't going to just pull over. But he guessed he must have seen some reason or another to allow him to stay in his car. He waited patiently as the male fiddled with the machine before handing the card back to him. Slowly, the gate slid open and they drove on, following the last few directions to his house. A few minutes passed and they were pulling up in front of his house. Alaine couldn't help to glare at it. He'd rather not be alone with his thoughts, but it seemed like he had no choice. Alaine sighed and moved to unbuckle his seat belt. "Thanks for the ride." he said softly as he turned to step out of the car.

Jepsen had no intention of just dropping off Ally on the side of the road. He couldn’t be that harsh especially after driving this far. Jepsen wasn’t mad at Ally, far from it. He was trying to understand but perhaps he was not the best at things like that. It didn’t take long before he pulled up in front of Ally’s house. Jepsen stopped his car as he parked it. He glanced at Ally as he moved to unbuckle his seat and get out of his car. Jepsen nodded at his words, ”Your welcome...Um, Ally...Do you want me to come in?” He asked curiously, unsure if leaving Ally alone to his own devices was a good idea.

Honestly he wouldn't be too surprised if Jepesen did decide to just leave him somewhere. He kind of deserved it, not that he was going to admit it. He knew Jepsen was trying his best to understand his side. But in his current mind set it felt like the complete opposite. He couldn't help being annoyed and overly dramatic. It was just in his nature. As they pulled up along the curb, Alaine unbuckled his seat belt and made to get out of the car. He thanked the male for driving him and was about to shut the door as he spoke once more. "Hmm.....I guess it be a bit rude if I didn't at least offer you some coffee or something." he grumbled to himself. "Come on." Closing the door, Alaine started up the small incline of his driveway. He waited by the front door for Jepsen to join him before turning to unlock it. It had been a few months since he'd used this particular door so it took him a moment to find the correct key. Once he found it though, he unlocked both the iron storm door and the decorative wooden door. As he pushed it open, the alarm sounded to the intrusion. He walked over to the wall pad and punched in the code. Within a few seconds the alarm was silenced. Kicking off his shoes, he stepped inside and waited for the male to come in to shut the door. "Well, this is it. Make yourself at home." he said softly.

Jepsen wasn't going to argue with Ally but he wasn't going to abandon him. He didn't really care either to talk about Liam anymore. Jepsen was at the point he didn't care if they sat in silence. He parked his car next to the curb. Jepsen watched as Ally got out. He waited to see if he would mind if he came in. Seeing as Ally didn't mind, Jepsen nodded parking his car and turning it off. As he got out of the car, he locked it behind him. Jepsen followed Ally toward the front door. He watched as he unlocked the door, soon hearing the piercing sound of an alarm. Jepsen covered his ears a little watching as Ally turned it off before inviting him in. He followed Ally in removing his shoes as well. Jepsen thanked him as he looked around taking it all in.

Wherever Micha planned on living he was going to do his best to stay out of it. It was just one of those things that he knew Micha needed to decide on his own. His only hope was that it wouldn't be too far travel wise. But he wasn't exactly holding his breath. He knew how much last time they were together Micha preferred Brooklyn and Queens. Whereas Samuel was a Manhattan native and hardly went south of SoHo. Unless there was some event he was attending or he was going to East Hampton. He wondered if Micha might stick close to where he was staying now. Although he wasn't exactly sure where that was either. He'd have to ask him later. For now, he was content with the way things were going. It was new yet familiar. He couldn't help reaching out to take his hand. Though he hadn't quite expected him to turn his own over and lace their fingers. Samuel listened as the male soon answered his question. "Manhattan?" he repeated, a bit surprised. "And here I thought you'd be living near one of your old haunts." He listened to what else the male had to say. He thought his choice to be rather ambitious. Though at the same he did enjoy the idea of them living closer to one another on the days he spent at the penthouse. In the end, he just hoped Micha would be able to find something that was nice, had good security, and fitted his needs.

At this point, Alaine had all but given up trying to figure out what Jepsen was thinking. Or rather what he thought of him. It seemed as though they weren't going to agree on much so it was better to remain silent. After his behavior, he was surprised that he would want to come on. Alaine didn't know why, but he felt like he at owed him something. A to-go coffee, maybe a snack. Just something to show he wasn't a completely ungrateful child. He didn't bother waiting long for him to get out of the car. Instead, he struggled to find the correct keys and get them inside. He hardly reacted to the alarm as he was so used to it. Alaine moved towards the device on the wall and punched in the code to silence the alarm. He looked to Jepsen as he invited him in, he could feel him following him just slightly behind. "The living room is to the left if you want to go sit in there." he said, gesturing towards the hallway. Alaine though took the right hall. He passed through the dining room and walked straight in to the kitchen. He turned on the light under the cabinets and moved towards the coffee maker. Open a drawer to his left were rows of pods. He had a few teas, but most of them were coffee. Alaine wasn't sure what the male would like. If breakfast was any indication, it was probably best to give him something simple. So he pulled out one of the dark roast pods from Starbucks. Alaine went placed a mug beneath the spout and went about preparing the machine. He stepped aside as he waited for the coffee to brew.

Following Ally into the house, he couldn’t help but look around like a lost little puppy. Jepsen didn’t know what to expect by walking into Ally’s house. He wanted to keep him company, that is if he wanted it. Jepsen was not going to force it upon Ally however. He looked around soon hearing Ally speak. Jepsen glanced back toward him listening to his words. He nodded a little, figuring he could at least go take a seat in the living room. Jepsen watched as Ally went heading down the hallway, before heading into the living room. He looked around it, as he moved to take a seat on the couch. Jepsen waited as he heard movement in the kitchen area, as the smell of coffee soon perforated the air.

Queens indeed was his favorite part of New York. However he needed a change. Micha wanted to branch out a little more of his comfort zone. He also enjoyed Manhattan as well, there was a lot to see. Micha knew it was be the perfect place for him to explore, but also knew it wouldn’t be such a long drive for Samuel. He didn’t want to be extremely close to Samuel, but at least within driving distance. Micha also knew it would be easier for his clients, as a lot of them lived in Manhattan. Touching Samuel, he saw the surprise in his eyes. He hadn’t meant nothing by it, but it wasn’t as if they had to hide anymore. Samuel was out, he didn’t need to worry about someone being offended by what they did. Micha didn’t withdraw his hand, however it made him curious. He listened as Samuel questioned him. Micha nodded at his words, ”Well, I need something different, expand my horizon and so on.” Micha spoke smiling a little at Samuel. There was no need to go back to live in Queens. He left there on bad terms. Micha might visit certain areas, but he didn’t want to live there.

Jepsen was free to follow him into the kitchen if he really wanted to. But he figured waiting on the couch might be a bit better. At least while he waited in there, Alaine could have a bit more time to compose himself. As well as come up with a decent apology as he felt that he owed him one. It wasn't as though Jepsen had asked to be dragged in to his mess, and yet here he was. Alaine leaned against the counter as the machine made noises beside him. As he stood there he couldn't help but wonder why the male was being so nice to him. Sure he was his boss, but that didn't really mean anything outside of the work place. Once they were outside of those doors he could have very easily told him where to shove it. But here they were, back at his house as though nothing had happened. In a few minutes time, the machine indicated that it had finished brewing. Alaine removed the mug from the tray, careful not to spill, and went about prepping for his own coffee. When he finished, he picked up the mug and walked into the living room. "Here," he said, setting the hot mug on the coffee table. "Hope you don't mind your coffee black. I might have a bit of half & half if you want that, no creamers though." Alaine took a seat on the opposite end of the couch. Now that he had invited him in, he wasn't sure what to do next. He didn't really entertain guests.

If it was a change he needed, then he could understand it. Change was good every now and then. This entire year Samuel too had thought of moving, trying out other sections of the city, maybe even another state. The only thing that kept him grounded was his hope that Micha might come back to him. Instead of moving he made other changes. From the interior of his club, to the kind of car he drove, and the physical memory of the one he loved. They were small changes, but he liked to think in some ways they helped him cope. He wondered if Micha also did little like that to stay sane. Either way, he hoped the change would be good for him. It would be interesting to see how he took to Manhattan. Like all the neighborhoods, it had its' own charm. Plus, while they wouldn't exactly be neighbors, it would be a tad easier to show Micha some of his favorite spots. Some places he might not even know about.

He was content as the male laced their fingers together. Although he was no stranger to public displays from the last time they were together, it still felt a bit strange. It was a whole new feeling of holding his hand while being out. Like a taste of freedom. Something he never had while growing up for fear of....well, anything. Whether it be hate speech, beatings, death threats, you name of it. They were all still very real threats and the world had a lot of adjusting to do before fulling accepting them. Samuel was glad the male did not withdraw his hand. Instead, he happily held it as they continued to talk. He listened well as the male went on to provide his reasoning for the move. It made sense. He couldn't help to smile back at the male. "Hmm, in that case I think Manhattan might just be the perfect neighborhood you're looking for." he replied.

There wasn’t a lot he expected out of Ally, at the very least an apology. Jepsen didn’t see that Ally had done anything wrong, he was merely venting his anger toward Liam. He wasn’t so sure if Ally was mad at him, but if he had been it was likely he wouldn’t have let him into his house. Jepsen waited patiently, but was growing impatient. He sighed a little to himself, as he leaned back against the couch. His knee shifted a little, bouncing as he waited. Finally after a while, he heard Ally come back from the kitchen. Seeing the mugs, in Ally’s hands he thanked him. Jepsen watched as Ally set the mugs down. He shrugged as Ally spoke about it being black. ”Black is fine.” Jepsen spoke, as he leaned over grabbing the coffee. He took a sip from it finding it bitter, but he didn’t mind. It wasn’t the first time he had drank coffee black, without cream or sugar.
