Queens indeed was his favorite part of New York. However he needed a change. Micha wanted to branch out a little more of his comfort zone. He also enjoyed Manhattan as well, there was a lot to see. Micha knew it was be the perfect place for him to explore, but also knew it wouldn’t be such a long drive for Samuel. He didn’t want to be extremely close to Samuel, but at least within driving distance. Micha also knew it would be easier for his clients, as a lot of them lived in Manhattan. Touching Samuel, he saw the surprise in his eyes. He hadn’t meant nothing by it, but it wasn’t as if they had to hide anymore. Samuel was out, he didn’t need to worry about someone being offended by what they did. Micha didn’t withdraw his hand, however it made him curious. He listened as Samuel questioned him. Micha nodded at his words, ”Well, I need something different, expand my horizon and so on.” Micha spoke smiling a little at Samuel. There was no need to go back to live in Queens. He left there on bad terms. Micha might visit certain areas, but he didn’t want to live there.

Jepsen was free to follow him into the kitchen if he really wanted to. But he figured waiting on the couch might be a bit better. At least while he waited in there, Alaine could have a bit more time to compose himself. As well as come up with a decent apology as he felt that he owed him one. It wasn't as though Jepsen had asked to be dragged in to his mess, and yet here he was. Alaine leaned against the counter as the machine made noises beside him. As he stood there he couldn't help but wonder why the male was being so nice to him. Sure he was his boss, but that didn't really mean anything outside of the work place. Once they were outside of those doors he could have very easily told him where to shove it. But here they were, back at his house as though nothing had happened. In a few minutes time, the machine indicated that it had finished brewing. Alaine removed the mug from the tray, careful not to spill, and went about prepping for his own coffee. When he finished, he picked up the mug and walked into the living room. "Here," he said, setting the hot mug on the coffee table. "Hope you don't mind your coffee black. I might have a bit of half & half if you want that, no creamers though." Alaine took a seat on the opposite end of the couch. Now that he had invited him in, he wasn't sure what to do next. He didn't really entertain guests.

If it was a change he needed, then he could understand it. Change was good every now and then. This entire year Samuel too had thought of moving, trying out other sections of the city, maybe even another state. The only thing that kept him grounded was his hope that Micha might come back to him. Instead of moving he made other changes. From the interior of his club, to the kind of car he drove, and the physical memory of the one he loved. They were small changes, but he liked to think in some ways they helped him cope. He wondered if Micha also did little like that to stay sane. Either way, he hoped the change would be good for him. It would be interesting to see how he took to Manhattan. Like all the neighborhoods, it had its' own charm. Plus, while they wouldn't exactly be neighbors, it would be a tad easier to show Micha some of his favorite spots. Some places he might not even know about.
He was content as the male laced their fingers together. Although he was no stranger to public displays from the last time they were together, it still felt a bit strange. It was a whole new feeling of holding his hand while being out. Like a taste of freedom. Something he never had while growing up for fear of....well, anything. Whether it be hate speech, beatings, death threats, you name of it. They were all still very real threats and the world had a lot of adjusting to do before fulling accepting them. Samuel was glad the male did not withdraw his hand. Instead, he happily held it as they continued to talk. He listened well as the male went on to provide his reasoning for the move. It made sense. He couldn't help to smile back at the male. "Hmm, in that case I think Manhattan might just be the perfect neighborhood you're looking for." he replied.

There wasn’t a lot he expected out of Ally, at the very least an apology. Jepsen didn’t see that Ally had done anything wrong, he was merely venting his anger toward Liam. He wasn’t so sure if Ally was mad at him, but if he had been it was likely he wouldn’t have let him into his house. Jepsen waited patiently, but was growing impatient. He sighed a little to himself, as he leaned back against the couch. His knee shifted a little, bouncing as he waited. Finally after a while, he heard Ally come back from the kitchen. Seeing the mugs, in Ally’s hands he thanked him. Jepsen watched as Ally set the mugs down. He shrugged as Ally spoke about it being black. ”Black is fine.” Jepsen spoke, as he leaned over grabbing the coffee. He took a sip from it finding it bitter, but he didn’t mind. It wasn’t the first time he had drank coffee black, without cream or sugar.
