Vicious_Cuteness01 Sainthood Vicious_Cuteness01 I don't think I've ever been this mad in my life... What's wrong? go back a page and read my post of anger-ishness =) Oh well I saw that but...can your parents really keep you from going if you're an adult and are providing your own funds?

I'm tempted to just buy the tickets and stay over at a friends house if my note thing doesn't work.
And you know what the worst part is I'm 3 against one, yes that's right even my brother is giving me grief.

Sainthood cursedcasanova you're 21... last time i checked it was your choice. Then again I can't talk... still haven't been to get my lip pierced after my mum said no emo my mom said no to me getting a lip ring and her money paid for it on my 18th birthday. yeah...take that mom. xp lol, my Mum said no to me getting a tattoo... I booked it and asked her to come with me, just so she could say told you so when I didn't like the experience.
1. I loved getting the tattoo xd 2. She paid for it because she likes it so much

Vicious_Cuteness01 My parents say I CANNOT GO TO ENGLAND!! I mean I understand that there are rules I must abide whilst living under this roof and all, BUT they must also acknowledge the fact that I am no longer a kid, I am 21 years of age!! I HAVE SAVED UP EVERY DOLLAR ON MY OWN THANK YOU, AND IF I CHOOSE TO GO THEN I SHALL!! They say that it's a bad idea to go alone, AND that I know absolutely no one in England... Basically they're telling WHAT is best for me, and not letting me have my say. I mean YES I understand it can be dangerous, going into a who new environment BUT I'll call every day if I have to, to make them happy. I mean hell I don't want to pass up an opportunity like this. But yeah they'd rather I stay here in Canada. Don't think I'm going to give up so easily.. I've written them a note and if they choose to acknowledge and read the note awesome. But yeah, I'm really pissed.
Don't be stupid. Being 21 doesn't make you an "adult".
As far as I'm concerned, you need to listen to your parents. They bring very valid points. -You do NOT know anyone in England. -You do NOT have family there. -You ARE travelling by yourself, in a place you've never been to before.
So what if you saved the money? There are plenty of other opportunities to visit, to travel later on. Save it for college, for other funds.
Last time I checked, you do still live under your parents roof. You are 21. They have every right to kick you out if you do so choose to disobey them. Then what? You're s**t out of luck.
And inb4, relating getting tattoos or any sort of body modification is not the same as traveling far away. Poor example.
tl;dr Don't be immature. You're not an adult. Listen to your parents.
