That threw me off too. You should see the pamphlet that came with it. rolleyes
"Warning: product may cause serious injury or death if used improperly. Please consult the owner's manual and follow all applicable safety guidelines."

Close?

Gotta love that.

In certain situations, if you use it properly, it will cause serious injury or death.

Hey, if you would stay with a 12 gauge you could get a Saiga 12.

RAGE!!! yeah really.. politicians would riot.

I'm actually debating between to two. Mossberg 500, or Su-16CA

Mossberg is infinitely more versatile. I can do alot more with it than the SU16. But the Su16 is fire power. plus it can be more readily fed with Government ammo, magazines, optics....... Plus its just damn cool.

I'll prob end up going with a mossberg, cause i can dump 700 into a shotgun and make it dance. 700 into th SU16 is... the rifle. and maybe a box of ammo.

Move away from there! Arizona's the place you 'aught to be.

... so load up your truck and move to, well, I suppose any state is more gun friendly than Kalifornia.
Well, except New York or the DC area.

Don't touch Iowa, they're a liberal bunch of ******** too.
Some are fine, some aren't.
You know that big BS fest at the Republican meeting or some s**t over here in Minnesota? It go so bad because some c**k gobblers from Iowa showed up and broke stuff.

Oh my god, I got that. gonk

@Crash: Maybe it's the AR talking, but I'd choose the Mossberg too.

Yeah, I caught that too.

Anyway, my arsenal, what I sleep with and all that jazz.

Looks slightly different, took that shitty grip off, and I'll be replacing it with an LT one, and I'm getting an LT/Harris bipod at the same time. Then getting a UBR and an ACOG RCO, and replacing the barrel and trigger sometime along the way.

All in all, about quadrupling the price of the original DMPS/Panther 20" flattop classic.

Yeah, those kind of sights on that rifle you have to get some type of scope.

Reflex or ACOG are the two I'd choose from.

Right now, I've got an AIM Sports Scout-type scope. It's not bad, not incredible or anything, but it's very much Scout-type. Low magnification, but great peripheral vision. Problem is, with a heavy barrel, it's incredibly front-heavy.

I'm also considering replacing those sights with Troy Tritium night sights.

That'd look pretty sweet.

A bit more functional than what looks like a Popsicle stick with a hole in it.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

I'm not sure if it's elevation adjustable or not.

On the other hand, zero that at 200m, and it's a working combat zero for pretty much anything.

Plus, it's backup, and I don't thing ACOGs fail much.
