Romy clung to the side of the boat the entire ride. He peeked at the water, watching the waves. He climbed out of the boat when it reached the little boat house, and stood on the dock. They were being told to go for sorting! It was time! He smiled at Sun. "Lets go get sorted!" he said. He headed toward the castle.

The boats came to a stop once they touched to the docks. Getting out she made her way to the front by the stair case. "Now please be careful getting out. Everyone please get in line and we will be moving to the Great Hall for your sorting ceremony soon. Go ahead and talk among yourselves till its time." Kat said waiting till it's time to move them to the next spot of the journey.

Rui jumped out of the boat and moments later her brother joined her. She smiled at him. He was the only one who could really make her smile. She walked a bit away from the water and as the grounds keeper had instructed lined up with Rei."You have a good boat ride?"

Rei shrugged at his sisters question and followed her silently."It was rather boring really and the one boy seemed quite put off just because a little lake water got on him from that squid. I think it's a bit snobbish to act like that really..."

Faith picked up the wet bundle that was her cat in her cloak and stepped carefully out of her boat. There were a lot of first years, and she took advantage of the fact nobody looked twice at her and snuck off to one side. Trinket growled in her arms, possibly uncomfortable, so she unwrapped her from the cloak. "There you go, baby," she whispered in Trinket's ear. She wrung out her cloak and threw it back around her shoulders. "It'll dry," she thought. "After all, it's only water."

Bradley shifted in his seat as the boat tapped gently against the dock. He set down the lantern and looked at Tobi, climbing out and holding out his free hand. "My turn to help you out." he said with a smile as he looked at the boy. He is so nice. he thought as he looked at the boy, helping him onto the dock.

Aubrey smiled as the boat bumped against the shore. She set the lantern down and hopped out of the boat. Nearly there! She looked back at Cain and Steffi and smiled happily. "What house do you guys want?" She asked curiously. Bree helped her siblings out of the boat, nearly slipped in once, but didn't thankfully.

Tobi didn't think he blushed but he was sure there was a splattering of color on his cheeks from Bradley's smile and offer. He took the hand and climbed out of the rocking boat happy to be out of it. "An' I thank you kind sir. Woulda been dreadful if I fell over off this dratted thing." he chuckled at his own joke. "I guess now we just wait ta be led in an' sorted." he mused softly.

Xavier continued to look at the school that he didn't realize that the boat they were on was already on shore. He snapped out of his blank state and stood up carefully, not bothering those two ' little love birds '. He placed down the lantern when he got out of the boat. He clearly saw David's blushing face when Shayna grabbed his hand. He winks at David, as if saying that, scored-a-cute-girl-huh. He grinned, and walked away. " There really are a huge number of first years. Make friends before the sorting starts? " he asked himself. He waited for the two to get off the boat, and asked, " The sorting ceremony is near. What house do you think you'll get into? " He was really excited. Finally, after years of waiting of entering Hogwarts, he's finally here. He felt something on his head, he picked up what it was and saw that it as Alexander. ' That broke off my thoughts. ' he thought to himself as he smiled at Alexander. He took a pack of biscuits from his pocket and gave it to Alexander. He squeaked in delight. He was hungry... terribly hungry.

Serafina felt the boat bump to the shore, causing her to slightly move forward. She grabbed hold of the side of the boat so it prevented her from falling. She slowly stood up when the boat went into its equilibrium state. She walked to the front of the boat and leaped to shore. She stretched, as she mumbled to herself, " That little ride was somehow boring. " She frowned, and moved to a space. ' It's like this at the station. So many students...So many people I don't know. ' she thought as she looked at them. " Sera darling, you'll make a lot of friends in Hogwarts. " she mumbled, copying her mother's voice, and accent. Annoyed, she kicked a tree....and yelped...quietly. ' H-h-how....stupid of me. Sheesh, ' she thought as she massaged her foot.

The sound of footsteps approached the boathouse, coming down the stairs that led to the castle. A blond man with brilliant green eyes appears, his robes of emerald hanging about his thin build. "Hello, First years. I am Professor Lukas Brighton, I am the deputy Headmaster." he said, before turning to Kat. "I will take it from here Kat." he said with a smile. Lets see. he thought as he looked over the first years. "Now please follow me." he said with a smile.
