With a frown he reflected on just how much trouble these little ones would have been in should they have been his own kits. Not that he had any as yet, of course, but he would someday, and if they had pulled this kind of stunt, why... he'd n** their tails and bottle them in the den for a week! No sunshine, no play, no hunting lessons, nothing for a week. Just... tough old snake meat and small laps of water, yes, that was it! He paced along on stiff legs in a self-righteous huff, almost entirely forgetting to search carefully for the lost cubs.

((Okay, by consensus of... Everybody... xd I'm randomizing a page, and then post! If it lands on Lil or Apathy, I'll reroll the posts xd ; The first one, I'll let you pick which cub you want - Bling or Rainbow xd ; Because it's easier.))
Sayen let out a frustrated growl - Even she was getting ruffled! The leopardess finally climbed out of the tree and dove into a random spot. If she had to, she'd start tearing the jungle apart to find those cubs! They were NOT going to go missing on her watch and STAY missing! If the Usafi was going to lose any leopards... Well, she would rather they NOT lose any leopards, but if she had a choice... She'd want it to be through a war, not a cub being a little fruit-brain and getting themselves killed by an elephant, gorilla, or hippo, or even drowning.

Spotting a tail, Sayen reached out to grab it, letting out a frustrated growl. "Gotcha!" Wrapping her paw around the tail, she caught ahold of the cub and... Well, it wasn't a FULL pounce, but it was enough to grab the cub by the scruff. As she walked back, she held her head high, ears flat against her skull. She may have been regal and dignified, but she was frustrated in a very short space of time. Unlike her, yes, but then she was showing a bit of her father. While she was sure he was alive, he was a leopard that had been known for his short temper. She liked to believe she had a longer fuse, as it were. These cubs were just testing it...

The striped cub shrank back from the stranger as he landed in front of her, her bright golden eyes wide...and, yet, tiny claws peeking out from her splayed toes. She would defend herself!...oh. Not an enemy. Those claws were retracted as she realized he was...helping the colony? They were worried, they were searching for her and her 'siblings?' Her ears folded back, and her face fell as she nodded in quiet acquiescence. Shame prickled along her spine as she followed the spotted stranger in silence, but it seemed this day wasn't about to be done with making her feel uncomfortable yet. She fidgeted as she saw how obviously distressed the colony leopards were. She hadn't wanted to do that!
As Sayen and Shakuntala spoke, the striped green cub swallowed hard past a lump in her throat. If it had been possible to shrink in upon herself, the little leopard cub would have become a mere speck by now. As it was, she felt very small indeed. She almost wanted to hide behind the stranger who'd found her--but no. She was brave, she was strong! ...Even if she didn't feel very brave or very strong right now. "I...I didn't think of that," she admitted, staring down at her feet. Everything was still so new here, and she'd thought only of the fun and adventure to be had in their games. But she could have been eaten by a hippopotamus, or squished by an elephant...no matter how brave or strong or smart a leopard was, hippos and elephants were super strong. Strong enough to make her a little green-colored bit of fur squished in amongst the trees, never to be found. She really hadn't thought of that, not when she'd begun to play with her 'siblings,' not when she'd gotten lost in the thick foliage of the jungle, not when she'd become too tired to remain awake and fallen asleep, not when she'd awoken and blinked the sleep out of her golden eyes, not when the spotted stranger had...rescued her. But she was thinking of it now, and a faint shiver rippled through her striped green fur. Oh, she was in such trouble, wasn't she? And she hadn't meant to be, she really hadn't. The colony leopards were nice and kind and had taken her and her 'siblings' in and she hadn't meant to make them upset. But now they were, and...some of her 'siblings' were still missing? A distressed little sound rose from her throat, and she gave the adult leopards a worried look. "We were just playing, we didn't mean to scare anyone...they'll be okay, won't they?"
She swallowed again as Sayen took off, hoping that everyone was alright. She might not be related to her 'siblings' by blood, but they were all the brothers and sister she had. She didn't want to lose them! Not when they'd all found a place to belong, a place to be safe...well...kind of safe. They weren't very safe being lost, but that wasn't the colony's fault!

The purple cub was obviously the best at this game, or so he liked to think. The last of his friends had been discovered, and he was the only remaining cub that had yet to be discovered! He would take personal pleasure in prolonging everyone's search for him. They didn't deserve to find him, since he was clearly the superior player in this game. One would think with the dark purple coloration of his coat, and bright yellow markings, he'd stand out a little bit from the foliage. The cub, however, was a little more clever, and had dug himself deep into the brush. He was silent, all up until his rainbow colored friend had been caught.
Then he couldn't help it, and giggled. The gig was up, and he was suddenly caught in the paws of Sayen. He struggled in her grasp, but was unable to really get away. His game of Hide and Seek was over, and well, in his opinion it hadn't nearly lasted long enough. What was worse was that he was going to have to sit through a lengthy lecture. "...Understood," he answered grudgingly, ears pressed flat against the back of his head. Man, this sucked.
What was worse was when Shakuntala proceeded to flitter about them, determining that all were in good health. "We're FINE," he pouted.
