Millie came bursting through the door to the bar, huffing and groaning as she removed a pair of sunglasses from her crystal blue eyes. This heat was unbearable! Of course, being someone with a body temperature of ice, anything was really hot to her. Her blue eyes couldn't see in the sunlight, always having to squint or wear sunglasses, her skin burned if she was outside too long...The summer was dreadful! She may be living in a beach town now, but to her it felt like a damn desert. Where she lived before was no better and the city seemed worse because of all the glass and asphalt. With sweat rolling down her forehead, she grabbed a bar towel and wiped it off as she stepped further inside to try and cool off. At least the air condition was running and she'd cool down relatively soon. Greeting her fellow coworkers, slowly becoming friendlier with them, she walked into the back of the bar and set her stuff in her locker. Looking around the back casually as she was making her way back out, Millie tried to spot her boss. She didn't seem to be anywhere to be seen today. The bluenette shrugged to herself, mumbling out an 'oh well' as she pushed the swinging door open.
On all her time off, she had been learning how to mix drinks. Well, when she wasn't playing on her computer or something. While she was a procrastinator, she didn't want to lose the only job she's had in a long time. She appreciated everything her dad did for her, but she couldn't hang onto him forever. Pulling out her phone, she opened up the app she had found about mixing drinks and pulled up the one she had been learning recently; Sex on the Beach. It was a staple at the bar. As it well should be considering where they all resided. It required a lot of different measurements and alcohol, and she wanted to get it right. Given that there weren't many customers in the bar at this early hour, Millie focused on learning before picking up her other tasks.「 ☞ OOC: 「 ☞ MONEY: $995.25 xxxx

So the media has gone nuts over all of my cousins, huh? Good for them as long as there won't be anyone willing to hunt them or their lovers down.
Actually, Cassandra preferred to be away from the media for a while, wearing a wide-brimmed sun hat, glasses and a sundress together with a pair of ballet flats as her outfit of choice. She was able to sell 75 bottles of the potions in Pezzle's over the next two weeks, which wasn't much in her opinion, but it was better than nothing. Right now, she was in the mood to have a drink, though her eyes took in the familiar location of the place. Hikaru used to set her up together with that incubus until the ice mage clarified that she was actually having Ifrit as her boyfriend. But that was back in the past, and she was once again single. Not that she could help with the current situation anyway. More importantly, there were thousands of dollars donated to charity thanks to the event in the last two weeks, though there may be another one after that. Seeing all of the male Ice siblings happy with their relationships warmed her heart, but perhaps, peace may not last long until someone was willing to hurt them all. It was the last thing that she wanted.
Once she entered the establishment, there was a female bartender on duty, looking at her phone because of either reference for her job or simply to kill time. Cassie sat down on one of the stools, regarding the other's presence with a smile. "Good morning, miss. I'm in the mood for a drink, and it's actually my second time here. Any other recommendations aside from Lavender Lemonade?" she questioned and took off her hat and glasses since the place was practically empty, revealing fair white hair and crystal blue eyes. Most people would find the color combination to be alluring, but how would the other female react at the sight of that ensemble?

CRASH! Millie dropped yet another glass, spilling the alcohol everywhere. Thankfully Bree wasn't in to see her mess up this morning! And when she did come in, she was mainly in the back office. Her pale face flushed with embarrassment as she picked up the pieces of glass and rushed to the back to grab a mop and clean up her mess. "Geeze..." she huffed in disappointment to herself. She will never get the hang of this bar tending thing! Just as she was putting away the mop she heard the door open and the sound of someone walking across to the bar. She came back out in time to see them sit down in front of her. Given that there weren't many, if any, people here she was obligated to take the young woman's order. Millie could feel anxiety bubbling in her stomach as she tried to keep her cool, wiping off her hands on a bar towel and smiling to her patron. "Good morning," she greeted after the woman. Here for a drink? Isn't that what everyone was here for? The questioning thoughts floated around in her mind as she continued to listen to her customer. Nodding slowly, Millie gave it some thought. She knew how to make that, that one was fairly simple. She started learning the easy drinks before moving onto the harder ones. She had almost gotten the Shark Attack down, but still wasn't very confident. In fact, that was probably her major flaw; her self-confidence.
"Well, given the hot day, perhaps a blended drink?" she suggested somewhat meekly. "They're about the same price as our Pina Coladas." It wasn't hard to blend drinks, in fact, she had done those at home. Of course, she got to taste test at home. Technically she was allowed to here as well to make sure everything was correct, but would have to remake it if she did. You couldn't sell drinks to the patrons after you've taken your own sip! Common sense, but she had been informed anyways. "Is there a particular flavor you like?" she asked more as a general question and not towards her suggestion. Getting a sense of what the customer liked would help her make a choice. It was always better to have a drink in mind before coming up to the bar, in case they were busy. Since it was still morning, they weren't so Millie didn't mind either way.list]「 ☞ OOC: 「 ☞ MONEY: $995.25 xxxx

The ice mage rubbed her own chin with a hand, her index finger rubbing her own lips that were slightly parched. Damn it, she should have put on lip gloss to moisturize the part before she left the house. "Is blueberry or mango available on the list? I wanna have either of those." Her eyes were scanning in the food complimenting well with the drinks. Last time, she had the burger together with Lavender Lemonade. "And a plate of nachos to go along with that, too," she added. Why not add in the snack since she was also craving for something to munch on. That one aside, there was no music playing except for the passing ice cream truck outside, and there were some kids wanting to get their hands on the cold treat since the temperature was starting to get even hotter than normal.
"I have to say, your outfit looks nice," she complimented, wanting to begin on the conversation to pass the time. After all, there was no one else except for the two of them right at this moment, except if there would be more random strangers coming in for their fill aside from the ice mage herself.

Millie blushed at the compliment, unintentionally. She wasn't used to people admiring her in any kind of way. "Thanks," she replied softly as she fiddled with the holes of her layer. Looking down at the fabric on her fingers, she tried to remember the name of the type of clothing, but it just escaped her! Pulling her fingers free, she remembered the girl asked about flavors and food. Shaking her blue and white hair a bit to bring her back into reality, she took a glance back at the selves full of booze and mixes. "Uhm..." she trailed off as she slid from the bar and looked over what they currently had. Picking up the bottle of blue liquid, Millie shook it as she tried to determine if there was enough for the drink she would be making. "It looks like we need to get some more blueberry, but we're stocked on mango. It is the favorite flavor of the heat," she finally stated as she set the blue bottle aside and picked up an orangish one. Sliding over to the register, she tapped on the touch screen a few times before letting the cook know about the order of nachos.
Going back to her task, Millie pulled down a few bottles of liquids and a small boat of fresh mangos. Scuttling over to the blender, she began mixing the drink together. "One part white rum," she muttered to herself as she poured the liquid in over the ice. "One part lime juice. Part syrup and a scoop of some fresh mangos..." It was a good thing they lived on an island, pretty much, all the produce was fresh. Placing the lid onto the blender, she pressed the button and walked away to grab a cocktail glass one would use for margaritas. When she returned to the drink it was finished blending and she poured it into a glass with a sprig of fresh mint and a raspberry in the middle; handing it to her customer. "Hopefully it's not too strong," she said with a bit of apprehension in her voice.「 ☞ OOC: 「 ☞ MONEY: $995.25 xxxx

Residence: 1506 Lumiere Housing District ┊Occupation: Huntress / Flutist / Pezzle's Potions Sales Associate ▂▂ ⊴ ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ⊵ ▂▂ It was definitely adorable, seeing the bartender blush from the compliment, though the talk about the available flavors for the smoothie acted as a stop sign before Cassandra would giggle at the thought. Of course, mango was the flavor much more favorable to the patrons since it has a tropical vibe. Looked like her next fix for something containing blueberries would have to wait, at least until she would find it somewhere else. Possibly tomorrow, if she would not be so busy with her shift at Pezzle’s. Her work at the potion shop was definitely slow and steady; if only she would find another way to entice more clients into buying them, it would be helpful. However, there were some things that potions wouldn’t fix completely, and that was a fact. Baby blue eyes then took in the sight of the bartender at work as the drink was close to being done.
Once the drink was served to her, her pale hand grasped the glass gently, taking a sip of the concoction. The fruity note was hitting her tongue and coated the mouth with its essence, but there was also the sweetness of the white rum mixed in, and Cassandra was feeling it. “Hmmm… Not bad for my first time tasting this. Slight acidity from the mangoes with the sugary tang of the rum. This may become my newest favorite drink,” she complimented. Now, all that’s left was for the nachos to come by so that she would have something to eat.

She thought Drizyrr would've been there before her, but maybe he still had to finish up a few things before he was able to leave work? The woman gave a small pout before she decided to sit up at the bar. " Hopefully he's on his way... I miss him... " They hadn't seen each other too much over the last two weeks. Since they were both pretty busy with work, they couldn't exactly get their schedules together. However, since today she was off, she figured they could actually have a date when get off of! Hell, she even got all dolled up for it, too. With the money she had saved up, she went ahead and splurged a little bit on herself. Ceres bought a nice creme colored, off the shoulder sundress and even a new pair of light brown sandals to go with it. The Dryad even took the time to actually do curl her hair slightly. It wasn't really common for her to dress up like this, but since the Drow saw her in all her other forms, then why not something like this? Besides, she paid good money for this outfit, so she wasn't going to let it go to waste.
While Ceres was waiting on Drizyrr, the bartender had slid a drink in front of her out of the blue. She never ordered a drink, so why? Confused, her eyes glanced up to him when he had pointed to a different table where two other men sat. " Um.. I think you have the wrong person. I don't know them. " In a polite gesture, she passed the drink back to the bartender, who took it back. Seeing that only annoyed the two strange men, causing one of them to get up and approach her. " Oi, don't you know how to say 'Thank You'? We bought you the drink, so the least you could do is take it. " This time, he got uncomfortably close to Ceres, not only making her anxious, but also pissed as hell. Who was he to get mad at her? It was quite clear his advances weren't welcomed, so he had about 5 seconds to get out of her face! Unfortunately for her, she didn't have a grand selection of blades and swords like the Drow did, but she did have her fists. " I said no, so leave me alone. It's not my fault you wasted your time and money on someone you don't know. Now get out of my face. You stink of alcohol and cheap cologne. Hmph." ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ ☆ mood: Excited / Annoyedxxx☆ company: a*****e from the barxxx☆ house: 1118 Etoilexxx☆ ooc:

"Night never ending The weapons we bring are our souls You know, You know You know what it means to feel real So rise up, claim the sky We fight, We fight Night never ending.”Drizyrr ♞ Zaulyl He had been at his job now for two weeks, and between it, lurking at the Deck to make sure no one messed with Ceres, his transition to diurnal living, and his own damn age, he was usually exhausted by the end of the day. However, tonight Ceres didn't have work, so they had planned on going out together. It had taken him some time to figure out what to wear, he wasn't particularly familiar with fashion here, so it all seemed strange. That and he still didn't have very many clothes, so he ended up going with a black button up collared shirt, a burgundy vest with silver decorative stitching, and plain black trousers. Maybe it was too formal, maybe not enough, he wasn't sure. He wasn't technically late yet, but he had planned on being earlier. The cursed signs these days assumed everyone could read, so it was just the name of the place, not an accompanying illustration to help those who had trouble with the words. Eventually though he was able to find the place, and it appeared he wasn't a minute too soon. Some man was approaching Ceres, getting awfully close. He could tell by how the man was walking that he was deep in his cups. Like a shadow he snuck around, then in a flash of movement, there was a dagger at the man's throat. There seemed to be a pale green residue on the dagger. "You heard my intended, didn't you? She has made it quite clear she doesn't want you around. And I am making it very clear that if you do not apologize, we are going to have a very pointed conversation out back. And I should warn you, this is one of my poisoned blades. This particular poison is a nerve agent, it will paralyze you, including paralyzing all vital muscle actions, such as breathing and your heart beating. Care to try?" The bartender looked on in fear. He knew the bad pox had arrived: a dark and shadowy man who brought fear and destruction wherever he went. He had heard about the man from some people who worked at the Captain's Deck. It made things safer for the staff, but it put the customers on edge. Drizyrr took a quick glance at the other man who had been socializing with the one he had caught. "And you, if you know what is good for you, you will keep quiet, stay at your table, and keep your attention on your drink. It would not take much effort for me to neutralize you and keep your friend occupied.""Long was the hour for the valiant knight that would ne'er be sick or slain Lonely the bower in the candle light with neither kith nor kin Storm clouds over the full moon raced, as he swung to the dapple grey And man and horse to the westward faced on the eve of an All Saints' Day.
He's laid his hand on his hunting horn and with his dying breath Has blown a blast to the blazing morn that would rouse the angel of death High in the cusp of the starry night he heard his grey hawk mew As out of the misty morning light his ghostly greyhounds flew.
