Although it defeats his entire Anakin is the chosen one crap.

But I really want a novelized version of DE.

Palps comes back through clones and eventually the Skywalker's defeat him.

Although I guess you could say it was "Anakin's legacy" and justify it.

But other than that, it's cool, Luke goes to the dark side.

Oh, actually I heard that on tape! I remember it now! They put the issues onto a cassette tape, and replaced the art with sound effects, etc. It sounds dumb, but it worked. It was like a radio play from the 40's or something, minus the ciggarette ads.

At the end of RotJ, they let Emo Boy be the Anakin ghost. Now, why no Qui-Gon ghost? confused

There's actual reasoing. Something about Qui-Gon only half learning it so tthat he made it to the half-world but not in physical form.

Yeah, what the heck. They go to all the trouble of Yoda Telling Obi-Wan about Qui-Gon's force ghost, but don't show it? A shiny Blue Liam Neeson would have been awesome

This is my first post on the guild ^^

But to answer, there are two possible reasons as to why there wasn't a Qui-Gon "ghost" at the end of RotJ.

First is that the ghost of Qui-Gon could have appeared beyond the Prequel Trilogy, but could no longer take any sort of physical shape by the tme of ANH. Take into example of how Obi-Wann was a ghost after he died, but five years after the Battle of Endor he wasn't able to keep an identity with the Force, so he met with Luke one last time on Coruscant before fading away into nothing. The same thing could've happened to Obi-Wann, that Qui-Gon couldn't stay for any longer for five years and left.

The second reason is that Qui Gon was not directly connected in any way to Luke. Yoda and Obi-Wann were his mentors, while Anakin was his father brought back to the Light. Qui Gon had no influence over Luke's life, so he wouldn't be there for whatever reason.
