Trigramatic "A...flight?" Tails asked. By his voice it sounded like this was the last thing he expected. But both ears perked. He'd never been into the air very long before, and it seemed obvious to Tails that Articuno couldn't fly Blizz anywhere. "That sounds fuuuun." Of course, this whole thing could all have been a ruse on Articuno's part, and this was the easiest way to fly him off to a cave and eat him. Articuno's gesturing did not suggest this, thankfully. "Then how about before we go outside, you might want to put on something light." I told him. "Articuno can only carry so much." I said to him. "We'll head outside right afterwards."

Dan grinned while petting the bird. "It's no problem at all. And Talon here is really stong, he can carry a car! Two people would be no problem at all" he reassured her. Dan climbed onto the Braviary's back and awaited Freya to get on. Then they could take off for Mahogany.

With a nod, Tails stood and went to his bedroom. He had just the thing in mind and considering the material, it would be easy on Articuno's feathers. He returned to the living room wearing only a pair of red nylon shorts, as if he expected a pool party.
It would have been entirely too awkward to just fly naked.
"How's this?"

Freya paused, feeling a little unsure but, well, Dan had kept her safe so far - even at the cost of embarrassment for himself. A light blush came to her cheeks but she slowly put her hand in his. She had never realized just how much larger he was compared to her, well, he did certainly have a 'protector' aura about him.
Once she was on, the girl slid her arms around his waist, pressing herself against him and resting her burning cheeks against Dan's back. It was so broad ... why hadn't she noticed before? He really was bigger than her. "I-is this alright?" She asked quietly, her heart beating quickly in her chest, so much so that she was a little paranoid that it would burst out. But he was so close, they were so close together ...

I said. "Let's get going then." I then walked off outside. "Come on Articuno." "Arrrii." The bird spoke up, getting up itself then started to make its way out of the building with me.

Hands in his pockets, Tails followed. He had only one Pokeball on him: Weavile's. Depending upon their landing site, they could all have a very nice hunt.
Part of Tails wondered whether Articuno even desired meat in his diet.
Another part dearly hoped he didn't.

"Yeah. We're taking off now" Dan told her and gave Talon the signal to take off. The bird stretched out his wings, showing a large wingspan. With a mighty flap and jump, they would be in the sky, soaring gently along the wind. When he thought about it, and he couldn't help but think about it, he hadn't been this close to a girl since...well when he caught Freya in the bathroom. He could hear his grandfather now. 'You had a naked girl in your arms? And then what happened? Didja...?' Yep, something like that. "Umm...make sure you hold on tight...For your safety!" he added the last part quickly. Talon was confused, surely this wasn't natural human behaviour. "This may be kind of late but, you're not afraid of heights are you?" he asked.

Gulping a bit, Freya scooted herself closer to Dan so she was completely flush against his body, her eyes closed as she felt him, felt how his body was so different than hers. It was to be expected, he was a guy and she was a girl so it was only natural that they have two different bodies but he felt so ... safe. What was this feeling, she wondered. It felt good but it made her want to cry at the same time. A smile, one that was slightly pained, graced her lips as she hugged him tighter, her fingers splaying out on his chest before gripping the fabric of it.
"I don't think so." Freya answered honestly. She had never flown before, even on a plane, so she really had no idea if she was afraid of heights. Well, there was no time like the present to find out. Her grip tightened on him when they took to the sky with a few mighty flaps of the Bird Pokemon beneath them. A little squeak of ... well something, escaped the girl's lips as she clung tighter to Dan, her eyes squeezed shut. Though curiosity, the desire to get a literal bird's eye view of their surroundings called to her and slowly, Freya opened her eyes, looking down at the ground. She gasped lightly, her eyes widening as it seemed the whole world was splayed out for as far as the eye could see.
Slowly, her grip loosened so she wasn't glue to Dan's back, a smile coming to her face, lighting up her eyes. It was amazing being up this high! While her hair whipped around behind her, the brunette slowly released the male before her, extending her arms around as if she, herself, had wings. Her bright blue eyes slid closed and she wasn't able to help the quiet giggle. This was incredible. She was flying, she could feel the wind in her hair, caressing her gently. Briefly, Freya wondered if she would be able to touch a cloud from up here but all thoughts vanished when she momentarily lost her balance. A shriek escaped her lips and she launched herself forward, wrapping her arms around Dan's torso once again and pressing her cheek against his back.
A few moments later, when she had calmed down, the brunette smiled though stayed still, her arms relatively relaxed around him. Shyly, she found of his hands, one that wasn't holding on or something and gently placed hers over it. "This is amazing ..."

Chaos got up early the next morning, completely pain-free. After tending to hygeine issues, he walked to the kitchen for breakfast. He contemplated training like in the old days, but then he only had two of his pokemon with him.
He is now aware that he needs to see about getting some more.

I stroked the side of the bird's head. "You sure about this?" I asked. "Arrrirrirriiii." "Alright, alright..." I said with a bit of a laugh. I looked back at Tails and picked him up off the ground then helped him up on the bird. "You two be careful, alright?"

"Oop. Hi, Articuno," Tails said. He wasn't sure where to grab hold of the bird. But the feathers were slick and it'd be a hairy flight if he couldn't figure this out. For now, he straddled Articuno's back, his arms loose around the collar of his neck. He waited to see what Articuno thought about this.
"I hope I'm doing it right."

With just this thrust, Tails felt like his lungs filled with sugar-laced helium. This was lift beyond his control and beyond even Blizz's. He was in for -adventure-, and the very thought titillated the part of him that still claimed to be very Pokemon. "We'll be okay, Blizz," he said. "We have ice and fire. Not even a steel dragon could stop us."

Tails would soon see above trees, then cliffs unreached by normal means on the mountain. Then forward motion. Off the two went... As I watched the two started to make their way off, I crossed my arms, giving a bit of a laugh.

Without a harness, Tails felt vulnerable. A slip, an ill-timed wind, it felt like anything could knock him off his perch. At the very least, he wasn't cold, nor did he expect to be cold today. His eyes stung with the shifting frosty winds, but it required only a little focus to warm the air about his face.
"You don't feel that, do you?" he asked.
