If they could not compromise on some kind of cake, then he had no issues with skipping it all together. They could still drink, dance, and kiss the night away. However, he too did not want to ruin things. In his honest opinion, if they were to do something small and private, then it was probably best that they both just buy something small from the grocery store. For instance, Micha could buy his cheesecake by the slice, and Samuel could buy either a slice of cake or a cupcake. Either would do for him seeing as they were both still sponge cake. If they were to have a large wedding, he wasn't sure what they would end up having. His mother would have an unfair advantage to say what goes as Micha's own parents would have no say at all to fight her on the matter. The more he thought it, the more he really was enjoying the idea of them going off on their own to do something. No fuss, only the people they really cared about, and best of all it would truly be their wedding. Samuel smiled as he teased the male back. He closed his eyes as he soon kissed a second time that evening. He kissed him back before feeling him pull away and opened his eyes as he was again teased. Samuel smirked. He hadn't the foggiest what Micha could possibly mean, he was always on his best behavior.

There was no harm in planning a few things ahead of time. He actually enjoyed the idea, of planning their future together. Micha knew marriage was still a long time away, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t enjoy himself. He loved and cared for Samuel enough, that if his mother wanted a large wedding, he could go through it. Micha may not enjoy it but that didn’t mean Samuel wouldn’t. He felt a little at odds with such an idea. Micha was never one for parties let alone weddings. The last wedding he had gone to was Grisha’s, and even then he stayed back in the shadows even though he was the best man. Micha hated the idea, but after all weddings weren’t always to make those getting married happy. He knew that his parents weren’t going to be there, but then again all that mattered to him that Samuel was. Micha could grin and bear if he had to. He watched as Samuel smirked at his words about him behaving. Micha knew Samuel could behave, but he couldn’t help but tease him. ”Do we have to have a reception? Can we just get married and leave?” He asked curiously, after all it was a good question. Micha had no need to dance and watch other people be stupid. After all he was likely to make a fool of himself, it he tried to dance. He was not good with his two feet, then again he was likely to trip over them.

It really was interesting to be able to talk like this. Before they never seemed to mention the future, almost like it didn't exist. Perhaps in the back of their minds it was because they knew it didn't. After all, at the time Samuel was still engaged and hiding in the closet. The mere thought of even something like a civil union let alone an actual wedding just did not seem like a real possibility. But now....Oh now, they could do anything they wanted. World and acceptance be damned. Micha was his and his alone and together he would hold on to him for as long as Micha would allow him to. Just thinking that they had a future was exciting to him. In all his years, he dreaded the idea of marriage and at some point having to actually produce offspring. Now he could do as he pleased. Marriage, as well as an engagement were a long off, this he knew quite well. Excited as he was, he couldn't rush things. Still, just talking about the possibilities made him giddy. Big, small, he wanted something that they would both enjoy and remember til their dying breath. Samuel smirked as he kissed and teased. The topic was changed yet again and this time he did not even have to hesitate to think of an answer. "God no, those things are awful. Besides give my brothers enough alcohol and they've be spilling all my secrets." Samuel couldn't help make a face at the very thought. He would have to remember to put a strict limit on how much those two were allowed to drink before they tried to make any kind of speech. "Here's a thought. If it's our little justice of the Elvis RuPaul peace chapel, no reception. We married, we get some kinda desert from Wal-Mart, we're home by four, and we can ******** til morning. But if my mom throws us some big cliche showstopper, we give them thirty minutes tops, get a to-go plate, and sneak out before any speeches can be made. What do you think?"

The very idea of having his brothers telling stories about him was rather frightening when he thought about. Oh course it would all be in good fun, but there was no telling what they might say. Especially Benjamin, seeing as he was the eldest. Anything Micha might want to know about his childhood, he could ask him directly. To say the least, Samuel did not trust either of them from embellishing the stories of their youth and making him look like a fool. Samuel continued to pout while Micha laughed. If they were to do speeches at their wedding, he wondered if anyone would speak about Micha. Did he have anyone to speak for him? He knew the male to be a bit of a loner, though that didn't make him a complete loner. There was that one friend of his he'd told him about before. Though he knew very little about him. He hadn't even met him. He wondered if Micha would change that in future as well.
Samuel went on to speak about a few options as they then discussed the reception. To him, he wasn't very keen on having a reception. He remembered just how long he was sitting around, bored out of his mind at Ben's wedding. Given his age, he had been too young to drink and thus forced to listen to every speech, every story, every drunk relative. It had been exhausting to say the least. Now as for Oliver's wedding, he had been lucky enough to be able to drink. There were still endless speeches and stories. But with alcohol in his body he found them to be a lot more tolerable. He wasn't sure there was enough alcohol in the word to prepare him for whatever might happen at his own reception. He smiled as Micha spoke again. "Done. Don't forget your whip cream for the honeymoon." he teased.

Just like Micha, Samuel hardly ever introduced his boyfriends or lovers to his friends either. Though it was mostly due to the fact that none of his friends besides Alaine knew of his sexuality. Many of them to this day still believed he was engaged and straight. That was his own fault. Those friends weren't ever really his friends to begin with and he made the decision on his own to cut them out of his life. Whether they got that memo or he couldn't really say. On the bright side, he had not run into those people since his coming out. So he didn't really see a need to tell them otherwise. The few that he had left though, he thought he could may be introduce Micha to. That is if he wanted to anyway. He wasn't sure if he would like them, but that was okay. Aside from Alaine, he wasn't too ecstatic about most of his friends either. At least not in the way he was back when they met in high school and college.
Hearing stories about his childhood from his brothers perspective wouldn't necessarily upset him. More like he wouldn't be able to face his husband again after they spilled all his secrets. Then again, he wouldn't mind hearing a few embarrassing stories about Micha from his friend, Grisha. At least then they could die of embarrassment together. Plus there'd be a good chance that they would no longer have anymore secrets between them once their loved ones spilled them all. Indeed a quick wedding was all they needed. They wear whatever they considered to be their best suit from their closets, and buy something to eat from the store. From then on, the world was their oyster. Samuel laughed as the male spoke and squeezed his hand gently. Whenever the time came, he was looking forward to their wedding.

As far as getting married to someone he actually cared about, that sort of opportunity seemed to go out the window ages ago. He'd been with men he thought he cared about. But even then he knew it wasn't possible to marry any of them. If he thought about he wasn't sure he wanted to any of those guys. Sure at the time he cared about them. Though not in the way that he cared about Micha. Despite all that had happened he still wanted him. And he knew that Micha wanted him. His only hope was they could not drive each other crazy or make as many mistakes as the first time.
Squeezing the males males hand, he couldn't help smiling back at him. He watched as he leaned forward to kiss him again. Samuel kissed him back sweetly, nodding in response to his words. "You better, otherwise I just wasted two grand on wine." he teased back. As they pulled apart, their waiter was once again heading towards them with a large tray in hand. Sitting back in his chair, he smiled politely as the man places his plate down in front of him. He thanked him and at last released Micha's hand. Picking up the silverware, he unraveled the cloth napkin, and laid it in his lap. Like Micha, he turned his attention towards his food. The aromas alone made his mouth water. Lifting his knife, he cut into his kitchen, and stirred around the noodles a bit. Raising the food to his mouth, it was just as delicious as it looked. He glanced towards Micha to see what he thought of his own food. His expression amused him and so he turned back to his own plate to continue eating.

Out of everything, he had been surprised Samuel still wanted him. Micha would have understood if Samuel didn’t. He wouldn’t blame him, if he didn’t want any contact with him. Micha had hurt Samuel, in more than one way possible. He knew however he couldn’t stay away from him. Micha didn’t see a life without him, the whole year he had been miserable too. He wasn’t about to tell Samuel how miserable, until he felt he could without Samuel being mad at him.
Hearing Samuel speak, he laughed softly. Micha wasn’t surprised on how much Samuel had spent on the wine. He should be, but he wasn't. Micha knew how Samuel could go over the top with things. He just let it happen, after all he knew it made Samuel happy to spoil him. ”Hmm, well I can make up for that too.” Micha spoke teasing Samuel, as he went about cutting up his chicken. He took a bite, enjoying the taste of the lemon garlic butter sauce. Micha continued to eat, taking a few sips of his wine as well, not wanting to waste it.
