This was boring, Heine discovered. Boring, boring, boring. Sitting on the counter top, uncaring if she was in anyone's way or anything like that, she lazily ate quite a lazy breakfast.
"The ~/~ is wrong with these boring ~/~ people?" She grumbled.

Trigramatic Without a harness, Tails felt vulnerable. A slip, an ill-timed wind, it felt like anything could knock him off his perch. At the very least, he wasn't cold, nor did he expect to be cold today. His eyes stung with the shifting frosty winds, but it required only a little focus to warm the air about his face. "You don't feel that, do you?" he asked. "Arrrii." The legendary bird apparently didn't. Articuno was aware on how bit of a weird position Tails was in. The legendary Pokemon was making it a special emphasis on Tails's safety this flight, trying to make sure that he doesn't get caught up in anything rough. Articuno was taking it smooth sailing from all the way up here. "Arrrrirrrriiiiii?" The bird called back out to Tails. Articuno was making sure that HE was okay, if anything, up here.

Though Tails couldn't understand, he could glean the sentiment from Articuno's inflection -- doubtless something he picked up from Blizz. "I'm alright, Articuno," he said. "I can keep myself warm, and we'll be fine as long as you don't get cold."
He pointed up, further up the face of the mountain where it seemed to plateau. "Do you hunt?" he asked.

Chaos got bored, as could be expected, of lazing about in the lobby, so he went into the kitchen to see about lunch, only to find the girl from earlier chatting it up with Sub.
"Hey, Heine. Hey, bossdude," he said to the two as he entered.

Articuno thought back. "Arrrrrriiirrrriii!" The bird exclaimed. Apparently it only truly hunted during the trip to and from Hyda. Any other time, its...pampered.

The woman looked up from her food, leaning back and crossing her long legs with a smirk.
"None of your ~/~ business, shorty." Heine stated just before the guy from earlier walked in. Well, interesting.
"Oh it's this ~/~ again. No limp today, I see."

This, Tails understood as some flavor of confirmation. As a bird of prey, Tails thought Articuno might have found it shameful to not have hunted at some point.
"I bet there'll be some kind of Pokemon around the flat spots," he said. "I could rain fire from them from up here. Or, if you're worried about avalanches, we could land. I have Weavile with me."

The leader quickly turned to face Chaos, a displeased look on his face. "You know this...thing? I've seen more pleasant things come out of a Muk than...her." He said pointing to Heine.

Articuno, remembering the words of caution from earlier, looked around for a second. It then started to descend upon one of the flatter areas nearby. It circled about until finally coming down for a landing. "Arrri?" It looked back at Tails.

Chaos shrugged at Heine's comment. "Told ya I just needed to sleep it off. And by the way, that guy you're talking ~/~ to? Say hello to the leader of Team Snagem." He smirked at that last comment, hoping to see an 'oh, ~/~' reaction.
"No, I don't know her," Chaos told Sub. "She showed up last night saying she wanted in, but other than that and her name, I don't know ~/~ about her. Why?"

When they landed, Tails turned and slid down Articuno's back, careful not to step on his tail feathers. He dipped his hand into his pocket, but did not yet draw the Pokeball. "I've never been this high up before," he said. "My fire will probably be weaker up here though. Something about less oxygen. I know I have to breathe deeper, anyway. How do you feel?"

Heine paused at Chaos' words, a cuss word quickly exiting her mouth. Well at least he had spunk.
"Well, sorry for the shorty comment." Heine stated with a shrug before moving her gaze to the other foul mouthed person but ignored him.

Articuno sounded well and rallied enough. Unfamiliar with the territory, Tails knew that snow could fall often enough that dips in the terrain could be hidden, and the wind smoothed the surface. He could fight well enough in knee-deep snow, he thought. "Whatever's up here is probably really cold-resistant," he said. "So whatever we draw out, I can probably hurt better. Well, that and I know all the cool kill-spots. Are you up for it? I can cook it for us."
