Recon_Ninja_985 HelloJohnnyBlade Recon_Ninja_985 not to mention a lead ball is WAY too ******** heavy to be pushed out those thin barrels and the load required to effectively propel it would make your launcher EXPLODE. this is the result of tampering with 37mm flare loads Gore deleted, plzkthxSince that Cobray you have there has a thinly built barrel it's not much of a surprise it exploded when using homemade rounds. not mine. any round loaded with more powder or far differently than it was intended will make any flare launcher explode... flare launchers are not made to fire man stopping rounds or grenades... EVER they simply aren't built for it However the Tru Flite is built differently. It appears to have a thicker reciever and barrel build and a higher powder charge in it's 37mm round so it can shoot gas grenades at farther distances. I wouldn't have a doubt that someone could make low powered (Saying this because the 37mm rounds it takes probably aren't any higher powered than a .223) salt rock or birdshot scattergun rounds for it.

To preempt any argument, keep in mind the Tru-Flite was meant to fire projectiles... it, like its newer 40mm, launches a canister filled with CS gas that begins gassing as soon as it hits the ground. Ergo, it fired a rather heavy projectile to begin with.

This might actually be the featherweight my friend had, though I didn't think his had that old-style stock on it.
