Terra sat behind the rock holding Kari. She wouldnt let her mother get to them. She saw someone that looked like smoke come out of no where. "Smoke?" She whispered. Before the shield went up Terra managed to shoot a giant fireball at Kari's mother. She smiled as it hit her.

Kari highfived Terra as she saw the fireball hit her mothers face. Kari whispered so excited, "Can I try?" She eagerly formed a purple ball of darkness, but she stopped when she saw Smoke. "Smoke! It looks like smoke anyways..." Kari cocked her head to the side, it didn't help any.

I sat down cross-legged in false submission, and smiled as the duplicate of Kari's mother disappeared when the fireballs hit it. "You still dont get it do you?" "wait i got it i will give you a hint and then an extra five minutes to figure it out, but it you dont figure it out soon you wont even get to see Kurai before she dies.." I clenched the necklace around my neck which began healing the wounds on my body except for the one in my back. "Hmmm...what hint should i give you.....Hm i wonder oh i got it"
I formed a fireball in my hand and tossed it at the shadow behind me. "Im suprised you havnt noticed but doesnt the shadow look strange to you?" There was a slight gasp from someone unseen and then silence. "ok your five minutes starts.......NOW!!!!! Tick,Tock"

Smoke heard Evil. She stopped in the abyss. but didn't go back to the area. She thought out loud in a whisper *Something's not right. Kari's mother wouldn't just show up in the battle... she'd have Kurai do all of her dirty work while she'd stay here... and when she felt Kurai's life start fading away to death... she'd come back to earth, but be transported to a different area so we wouldn't be able to find her..." Suddenly something hot hit her back. SHe gasped and put the small fire out that was on her dress. She saw a small portal and saw Kurai. The scene was dimmed. *A shadow portal... crap!* Smoke took off again, ignoring Evil. *She's here Smoke! Get your butt over here, we need you! GAH!* Smoke glared at nothing, *Evil, I don't think that's her real body. I can feel something... I'm not sure what though. It's hard to sense anything here, but I can feel something... and I bet you it's her real body.*

Kari blinked. Kurais slowly, loosing it. What would happen if...we shot the blade out of her body? Kari turned to ask Terra when X ran up to her, With Cane following.

"Kurai isnt here anymore...if you get my meaning" I looked backwards and my shadow was stabbed to a tree."I told you there was something you should have noticed about my shadow" I began laughing again but this time with joy and malice.

Smoke could hear everything going on back on earth because of Evil. Smoke stopped and gasped. *Kurai's soul isn't in her body! It's Kari's mother's soul!!!!*
Evil's eyes grew, "YOu sick b*****d! Why did you switch body's with Kurai!?" She blasted a light ball at Kurai's body.
Smoke was fueled with anger and rage. She shielded her body off so Kurai's body wouldn't be able to get into her head. She grabbed her invisible bag and pulled out numerous books and started flipping through them at an incredible speed. She didnt' miss one word as she read them. "Were's that spell..."

"I wouldnt do that if i were you, if you hurt me you hurt your friend, Oh and Smoke if you get the wrong spell you will just torture her soul more than it is right now and if you hurt me she is the one who is going to feel it" "and you know what....it was Kurai who recommended that her soul be removed, unfortunatly as a side-effect from being alone and controled so long it caused her to go insane it may even be iriversable" "Kurai is still connected to her body but i trapped her away as you can see in my shadow and im afraid she is suffering quite alot with just her thoughts....looks like she stopped fighting now." I started laughting again. I flicked the shield around me causing it to crack. "you wanted to play a game didnt you, so what shall it be?"

Ha, You won't last long hag while you where fighting me and licked my fist you swallowed a growing ice and in a matter of seconds you will be frozen untill i relase the ice no fire can melt it so go freeze.

Bowing with a smile "As you wish Inferno....." turning toward the stabbed shadow on the tree "Sorry Kurai.....i did warn them" as i froze over.
I didnt know what was happening but i suddenly got cold. and it kept getting colder and colder until it burned. I knew what was happening, and where i was. i started thrashing around trying to get rid of the cold, i knew i was screaming but i couldnt hear myself. (thinking to myself) "i guess this is what happens when you lose hope and give your body to a sadistic witch,(more pain came) what the hell is she doing with it!!!!!!"

I heard the screams of Kurai in her shadow and wispered "Sorry to put you in that pain but it was the only way to stop the hag from hurting your body anymore."

I heard Inferno's voice and suddenly got angery. i didnt know why, but i looked up at her from the tree where i was trapped, i gave her a look of disappointment then whispered "Die" as i took a deep breath and shot a fireball the size of a boulder out of my mouth.

I made an ice feild but I was to late my shoulder was on fire but it didnt bother me. I yelled up at Kurai and said Your going to have to get the temperture of that fire up to about the sun temp before you can hurt me remember that.

The real Smoke suddly appeared. Evil grabbed her hand as Smoke shared the spell mentally with her. They wrapped a dark and light sheild around their bodies, Kurai's body and the shadow. "Turvo brauns muciar era turvo." The two Smoke bodies quickly placed their hands on Kurai's body's forhead. The hag screamed as her soul was taken out of Kurai's body and Kurai's soul was placed back in her body. The witch went back into her own body that was in the shadow. Kurai fell to the ground. Her body started to shiver.
"How did you know which spell to use?!" The witch spat at them.
Smoke glared, "I did my research and still do."
Evil grinned and dissappeared. She disintigrated into the air. No one knew where she was since her particles of dark and light scattered all over. Suddenly she appeared right behind the hag. "See ya!" She grabbed the hag's haand that was holding the blade and made it dig into Kurai's back. THe blade glowed red. Smoke moved her dark force field around the witch while Evil grabbed Kurai and ran over to Inferno and the others, "Stop the ice!" She produced a light force field around them.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING!" the hag started shaking. she tried to drop the blade, but had no luck. Her hand started to swell up as the blade's poison entered her body.
