(temporary) star trek reboot (since gais's being weird)

Jinx was still in a peaceful slumber for a while longer. However her brow furrowed and she started reacting to something violently in her dreams. She growled and snarled like she was fighting something off. Perhaps the people who captured her?

Monroe procceded to tour the group around the rest of the ship; working their way up the ship until the group arrived at the bridge.

"and here, is the bridge" Monroe said, gesturing the group aboard the enormous bridge.

There was something different about the bridge. A couple of consoles certainly did not look like starfleet technology.

Monroe pointed to them. I think you'll like these Scottie - take a look.

Zepatos jumped as Jinx started snarling violently and edged over slightly.
"Hey Jinx?" he asked, sounding concerned. He was reluctant to wake her - as a young child his father had warned him that to wake a dreamer was to tear them away from the spirit world - but at the same time he was a little concerned as to what she woudl do if she got too into the dream.
"jiiiiinx?" he poked her gently and then flinched away incase she scrtached out at him.

Scottie glanced at Kirk as if for permission then walked over, examining them. he then laughed in delight as he realised what they were and crouched to examine the various components closer.
"ooh you beauty..."

"and they are..?" Kirk asked, looking over at the consoles. he was impressed by the bridge in general and wondered why his wasn't as big as this

Jinx's eyes shot wide open. She reacted by getting into an offensive position. Fangs bare and claws at the ready. Her eyes were wild and also seemed to glow with fury. She breathed heavily and was ready to strike.

Spock took a moment to observe the ship's bridge as the others did. It was indeed an impressive vessel.

Zepatos started backwards trying to get out of her way and put his hands up in a mix of surrender and protection.
"woah, woah, Jinx it's me! calm down."

Jinx's ears twitched at the sound of his voice. Her breathing started to slow as senses came back to her as she caught his scent. Her eyes returned to their normal appearance. When she realized that it looked like she was threatening him she lowered her hands. Her eyes grew sad and she sunk to the floor. She curled up and hid under the blanket-only her tail stuck out moving slowly over the floor. Sad meowing could be heard muffled under the blanket.

Once she'd calmed down Zepatos edged forwards, and then crunched next to her, lifting up a corner of the blanket to look at her.
"Hey Jinx, it's ok. You just had a bad dream, right?"

Jinx hid her face. "Bad," she mumbled and tried to curl up tighter.

Zepatos edged further under the blanket and put a hand comfortingly on her arm.
"you're not bad...and the bad dream is just...a dream. It's over now. Don't be scared."

"....d....eam......sca...red?" Jinx glanced up with a questioning gave. Then looked at his hand and licked it apologetically.

Zepatos smield softly and then stroked her hair instead. While he appreciated the sentiment of her licking him he didn't didn't much like it.
"You're safe here. Here is good."
he tried ot help her understand and just hoped his body language woudl do teh trick.
"We'll get you home eventually."

Jinx's purr still sound rather sad as crept out from under the blanket, but she enjoyed being petted. She nuzzled his hand to continue and moved to curl up close to him.

Monroe smilied and stepped forward.

"They regulate antimatter follow to the phasers. We REALLY pack a punch"

"Some technology we aquired in the system, classes our ship as a prototype." Said Shern smiling and stepping into the room. If you'd like to follow me into the breifing room I believe the senario is ready now"
