Bomani nodded. "I promise." he said. Those two words came out sounding a little pained, and it took a lot of him to say it. But he had to. He knew he had to.
He listened to her speak, and smiled when she pulled away from the kiss. "You would never go to a hell...you're too perfect. You're already an angel...you would just return home." he assured her.
"I'm happy I fell in love with you as well, Chione...the greatest moment of my life was when you kissed me...my first ever kiss, I should add."

Chione chuckled, resting her head on his shoulder. "Me, an angel? I don't believe I'm that perfect, Bomani. As an individual, I am nothing. You are the one who completes me, you are my other half." Kissing him on the cheek she paused. "I...I was your first kiss?" To her, it was perfect, especially since he was her first as well. "Hm, well then, you're a good kisser." She murmured, her lips lingering close to his to tease him. "And, as far as greatest moments go, I can't choose one." She laughed a little. "While I'm with you, there are too many of them."

"You were my first kiss. I was taken from my tribe before I could find love, and put on guard duty here...when my eyes fell on you, I found it hard to find love elsewhere." Bomani said, smiling and laughing with her. He brushed his lips against hers, then rubbed his nose against hers.
"Thank you...hearing you say that means a lot to me." he said softly. After a moment, he thought of something.
"I have an idea, one to give you one more great moment...before we sleep tonight, as I have the guard shift again...I want to do something special for you." he promised. He gently rubbed her back a little, as if to give her a hint.

Despite having bed not too long ago Chione's cheeks automatically flushed with color as his hand rubbed her back. "Ah, um...alright." She said, doing her best not to stutter or appear to flustered. Placing her hands on his shoulders to leaned a little against him, feeling comfortable after their time together. "I'll look forward to it, then." She said with a smile.

Bomani smiled, seeing her blush. "Don't worry, it's nothing bad...you'll be as bare as you are now, but I won't see any of it." he said, still giving her hints. "Now...as much as it pains me to do so, I believe you had to visit the king, right?" he said.

"Wait..." Chione paused, then tilted her head in confusion. "You won't see...? Is it something naughty again?" She teased, tapping him on the nose. "That's true, but it's going to take me a while to get dressed." She said, leading him in a walk to her bureau despite having his arms still around her.

"It's not. I promise. Here's my last hint...it's not naughty, but will bring you pleasure beyond belief." Bomani promised, letting her lead him to the bureau. "Do you need a hand?" he teased.

Chione stood in thought for a moment, trying to gather all of the hints he had dropped into a final conclusion."I'm sorry," She apologized, looking to him, "but I actually don't know what you're speaking of." Frowning a little she opened the bureau. "Only if you will help me." She replied, looking through the gowns she used while she was inside the palace.

"Don't apologize, you'll still get the surprise." Bomani said, following her over. He also looked at the gowns. "How about this one? It's basic, and I've seen you wear it before, and it makes you look beautiful." he said, pointing out a pale blue gown.

"Well, now I can't wait until nightfall." Chione admitted, taking the gown he spoke of. "Alright then, if it pleases you." She took a new set of undergarments, putting them on before putting on the gown. "Now that I think about it," she began, her voice muffled a little by the cloth of the gown, "I want to spend every night with you." She blushed a little, happy that her face was covered.

Bomani laughed softly. He stood nearby, not staring but there to help if she needed.
"I'll do what I can...my job means that sometimes, I need to let someone else guard you...but whenever it's my shift, I'll spend the night in your arms." he promised.

Finished dressing now Chione kissed him on the cheek, brushing her hair with her fingers. "Alright, I guess I'll go now. Is it your shift now?" She asked, having lost track of time while she was with him.

Bomani had to think it over. "No. I'm off duty." he said. "I should have been sleeping now...because I should have been awake last night. However, I think my arms around you was protection enough." he said, laughing. "I'll wait back in my room until you return. It pains me to do it." he added, kissing her on the cheek.

Laughing with him Chione gave him a small kiss on the lips. "Okay then, rest up and I'll see you soon. I don't think I will be talking with my father for long." Looking into his eyes as if to memorize their color she made her way for the door. "See you soon, Bomani."

"Wait." Bomani said. He walked up to her and hugged her tightly, leaning back a little so her feet lifted off the ground. He spun her around and put her back on the ground, smiling. He gave her a final kiss on the lips. "See you soon." he promised. "I love you, Chione." he whispered.
