"If it's that Porygon-Z again, I think I'm gonna have to invest in a steamroller for it." Aden commented. He hadn't forgotten how rough that thing was; a steamroller would be a proper manifestation of its capabilities, he thought.

"No, I don't think I'll have Porygon-Z have at it with you this go-round." I said to him, walking off. "Come on." I said.

This was more than enough to leave Aden rather confused, quickly going out after Blizzard. "Did you hit your head on something yesterday too?" He felt compelled to ask, if only out of his mild surprise.

"Now what in the world is that supposed to mean?" I asked Aden. "My other Pokemon can fight too, you know. And they can be as tough as Porygon-Z if it comes to it. Do I need to remind you about that one day Ryan and I had at it outside the mansion?" I asked.

"I didn't mean it like that." Aden felt he might've struck a chord he hadn't meant to. "I'm just surprised to hear you mention sending something after me that isn't your Porygon-Z." He most certainly didn't need to be reminded of that fight back then.

"Well to be fair, it was just only what. Once? Maybe twice that I sent him against you?" I asked. "Time to mix things up a little."

"I think it was twice. Most I remember was that thing rolling over my Pokemon at the time." Aden said, and personally didn't want to admit that he swore he could've heard a shout of 'WRY' during those times. What with how he might've just heard things.

We made our way out of the Pokemon Center and we started our way off towards a spot out on the routes where we could have our spar. Something just then came across my mind. "Aden, you don't understand Pokemon like I do, do you? By that I mean, actually know what they are saying to you on a normal basis, can you?"

"Only a little. I can usually get the gist of what they're trying to say, but since I didn't really start making full use of what I've got until ending up with everyone else, it's not to the level dad has. Let alone sis, who probably could from the moment she hatched or whatever. Or at least learned it very quickly. Weird she learned to speak human speech instead, though." Aden said, shrugging when he rambled off that little bit. "My understanding's probably a little better since yesterday, though." He hoped so, anyway, what with seeing each of his Pokemon in the form of children. He at least knew the personalities would be about right.

"You know, understanding Pokemon was a bit weird to me after I became aware of me being a hybrid and all. Jesus Christ, hearing what my Weavile was saying to me...yeech. It has been...an experience to say the least." I said. "But in essence, it has became quite handy in the long run."

"I can imagine. Try hearing an Arcanine bark one minute, then be talking what seems like perfect English the next. That's how I first found out I was even able to understand what they were saying." As Aden thought about this, he didn't quite want to know how it was for his old man. He figured it was somewhat similar to Blizzard's case, though. "I'm guessing I'm either inexperienced with it, or what makeup I have doesn't offer the same level right away."

This left Mareep, who had been following the whole time, a little dumbstruck. She could understand them fine enough. And these two didn't look entirely like what humans she had seen before. So why did one have difficulty understanding her, other than her not speaking much.

"Nah. You just got to listen close and understand them." I said to him. "Mikey right now is less Pokemon than you are as I figure it. While I think being part Pokemon plays a role, unless its a real low percentage, I don't think it matters too much. Just try having a conversation with them some time, you know? You might learn a thing or two in the long run anyhow."

"Just inexperience, then. That's a relief." To him, it seemed like an easy fix. Something that'd work itself out over time if he kept at it. "...You know, Mareep, there's no need to be all silent. We're not going to bite."

She just seemed to shrug. Not much to say on the matter, now that she thought about it.

I continued walking off, back on to the route and a good ways away. "You know, kind of reminds me of the few times that my teacher and I went out of the gym to do this sort of thing. It was pretty rewarding in many rights, you know?" I asked Aden. "At any rate, I think this is a good spot..."

It was close to the town to be sure, but it was fairly open, and quiet for that matter. A good ways away from the people that are anxious to battle, that is for the time being. Plenty of room for our Pokemon to battle and roam if need be. "Alright Aden. I take it you're ready or what?"

"It's kinda similar." Aden admitted. "Difference is you're the teacher and I'm the... well, student." Seeing where they were and hearing the next question, he could only nod. "And if I wasn't, I wouldn't have mentioned it this morning." The only question on his mind was which one to use.
