Butchered Hetalia rp. . . (working title)

[Lucia Vargas]

Francis held her hand gently and smiled. "Yes, darleeng." He kissed the top of her head. "You look beautiful, by zhe way." She read his mind, and made him feel much better. She had that effect. He turned to the window, noticing they were beginning to go down a long drive with a large, almost mansion-like estate in the distance. "I zhink we're almost 'ere, mon amour."

Lucia smiled back. She'd eased his fear somewhat. . . good. It wouldn't do for her family to know he was freaking out like she was. He needed to be protector here. Well for some of it. It would be her family, her family that they'd have to convince.


The car pulled up not too long later. But there were no other cars in the drive way, she couldn't feel any one in the house nor their cars in the drive way. Her eyes narrowed. Something wasn't right.

Francis noticed this oddity as well and opened the car door, stepping out hesitantly. "Lucy, stay 'ere. Do you understand me?" He suddently turned serious as he locked the door from the outside and walked up the large stairs to the front door. Giving it a brisk knock, he waited for something to happen.

Luce did as she was told but watched through the tinted windows, dialing her aunt. "Where are you guys?" She hissed lowly.

"Oh. . . didn't anyone tell you?" Her aunt replied with a sick purr sound. "It's a trap. You've got five seconds." The call disconnected and Lucia gasped. No driver. But there was a beeping sound. "France!" She cried banging on the door. No time. He'd not get to her in time! She pressed her hands on the door keeping his feet locked into the concrete steps then pulled s much of the limo around her as possible as a shield. The beeping stopped and there was vibrations ringing on the shield. Heat became unbearable in her shield but she didn't let it down. Not until she was sure she was safe.

"LUCY!!" Francis couldn't do anything but watch. He felt useless as the dust began to settle and he slipped out of his shoes, taking his socks off as well and running to what was left, barefooted. She made a shield to protect her, and now he felt extremely useless and honestly detrimental to her. He pounded weakly on the shield she made, tears rolling down his cheeks. "Lucy.. Eet's moi."

Caring not for her make up Luce let the metal tumble away and flew into her Frenchman's arms. Her body shook from fear and shock. Tears tumbled down her cheeks. Why?! Why did this happen?! What was going on?! She couldn't stop crying. Fear over losing her mate ripped through her body. The ground had already started shaking.

Francis held her close to him, sshing her and rubbing her back. "I'm here, darleeng... Hush now." He knew this was his fault, and he'd be taking some time away so she would be safer. That was probably the best. The ground shook, and he knew it was her doing, but that was why he was trying to comfort her.

"You're alive. . . You're alive. . . You're safe." She breathed through her sobs trying to calm down. Her arms tightened around him. No matter what he did he wouldn't be leaving them any time soon. She wouldn't let him. She didn't want him to leave. Ever. She needed him too much to even entertain the idea of him leaving her.

"Yes, darleeng. I'm safe and so are you." Francis cooed, glad she was calming down. He had to get to the bottom of all this, for her. He needed her safe once again. But first he had to get her safe and home.  

[Hikari_Mamo]

"Don't. . . Don't leave me again." She mewed gripping his blazer. She was calming down from her hysteria. But she wasn't through hugging him like she'd died if she let him go.

She froze when she heard the sound of a car pull up. "Luce?" Her grandfather's voice sounded from behind her. "Francis? What are you doing here? The party isn't until seven. . . oh god!" He noticed the exploded car. "Tabitha! Adele is at it again! Come get in the car we'll take you back to the school. We'll have dinner there. All the presents the relatives got her are in the trunk. Let's just get you two in the wards before Adele decides to finish you off herself."

Francis looked at her grandfather, picking Lucy up in his arms. "Darleeng, we're safe now." He was hesitant about her opening any presents, especially after the one that this Adele person gave them. "Zat sounds great right about now, sir, thank you."

Luce's grandfather nodded helping them in the car. "Don't worry. We'll screen all the presents make sure they're safe." He paused for a moment waiting until Luce pressed her face against France's neck before pressing a ring in his hand smiling softly. "A present to you from us." He whispered to France before getting into the car and driving them back to the school.

Francis' eyes widened at what was placed in his hand. He viewed it, nothing ordinary for sure. Before Lucy saw he slid it on his right middle finger. "Let's geet you 'ome, mon amour." He kissed her forehead and stroked her hair. "At least we're both okay."

Luce nodded but still hugged him tight. She never wanted to let him go again. Never wanted to leave his side. She wouldn't let anyone near him, or herself for that matter other than each other. She didn't want anything to happen to her mate. Never wanted him harmed because of her. She didn't want to be alone. She broke out into fresh tears. "I was so scared." She whispered. And Italy hadn't taken over. . . what the hell was that all about?

Francis noticed her other half didn't attack at anything. He must have began to harness Italy, something that he never thought he'd do. "I know, ma cher. I was too. But eet's over now." He could still smell the smoke on his clothes. It mixed with her tears and he felt disheartened.
