Some of the guys from Ep 4 sound the same, but definetely are not Jango. And, let's not forget Davin Felth, and the guy that bumped his head on the door in the control room. 3nodding And, I'd imagine that by Ep 4, most of the Jango clones were dead.

Jango bumped his head on Slave I in Ep. II, in a deliberate reference to what may be his clone.

When Han And Luke steal the Stormtrooper's armour in ANH the troopers must have been different because there was no shock expressed in the following scenes.

Either that, or the fact that some stormtroopers were clones was common knowledge, since they did evolve from the clone troopers.

I can't really complain about any of the movies. I love them all. There are some mistakes though. Look for this one as it is so simple lol.

In Episode V The Empire Strikes Back when Luke is fleeing the snow beast (name escapes me) we hear the sound of his lightsaber supposidly turning off and yet we still see him running out of the cave with it still on lol.

Im posting my blah!

I am going to kill the most unimaginative person in the entire series! Besides phil the janitor...

I hate John Williams! Yes, i know he composed the music. Yes i know you hate me now. But hear my madness:

He stole pieces of music and claimed them as his own. Listen to the Escape from Echo base theme, then to Gustav Holst's Mars, the Bringer of War. You will hear the same undertones. The music is different, but you will be very reminded of it! In some parts it is the same when played side by side!

Also, just to prove past one point, the credenzo on the closing theme is quite alot like Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture. the parts right before teh increased speed are of the same notes, and same lengths.

And, the whole theme from attack on the second death star, try listening to Francesca Da Rimini! parts are equal there too!

now my peace is done... from teh original triology...

as for this new one... there isn't enough space in the world to describe flaws....

In my responce, perhaps Williams was inspired by those composers, and didnt neccesarilly steal the music, but made it his own. Besides, there are so many peices of music out there, perhaps he could have "coppied" without knowing? There are only so many notes and combinations that are pleasing to the ear...I wonder if you have any problems with Williams other works in Indiana Jones or Harry Potter??

me too...but I think in Episode II, he was a little too whiney, and too different from when he was a boy leaving Tatooine....which is another reason to hate that Jake whats-his-face got to be the child Anikin. stressed

Is this a Harry Potter (actually, Williams wrote about 11 seconds of HP music into the ROTS soundtrack) or IJ guild? NO.

And I don't mind inspiriation. But listen to "Titan", by .... Mendellson, i believe (its been a while). You'll definately hear the same last 30 seconds are the same, and about the last 1:30 is very similar.

There is a difference between stealing, copying, and inspired by.

Like Kris Badelt, the man who wrote the POTC soundtrack, copied several undertones from Williams.

But the thing is this: You can be inspired by people. But when you play tracks side by side, and synchronise them, and even the notes and timing are EXACTLY the same, for more than just a second or two, that's when we start worrying.

Trust me, I have much more evidence. I have nothing against the soundtrack. I have other reasons to hate williams, but its more of a personal thing, which has no place in reasoned arguement.

One last thing:

This thread has a disclaimer as the very first post.

You don't have to like someone's opinion. But this is a vent-off place. Its not meant for debate so much as just random pent-up feelings being spewed.

I listen to the ESB soundtrack to go to work. I like the music, I just am not that big a fan of Williams and his recycled themes and soundtracks being called "original" and "uninspiried genius" as he labels them.

I just wanted to get more of an insight on your opinion, I'm not trying to change it, just giving my opinion on your opinion.

Why does Aayla Secura have the shittiest death? (ep. III) I mean, she doesnt even get to whip out her light saber, and she's so damn hott. She should have been allowed a kick a** fight scene (for the record, I'm not into other girls, I just know hottness when I see it. cool )
