*Not that I can remember but I haven't really been all together in the last few months so it is possible that I missed it.* Loki said softly. He didn't like admitting to the fact that he had not paid attention to his children's health but he did. He couldn't help smiling as Tony's thumb rubbed over his belly until the babies kicking subsided. When Tony pulled his hand away Loki immediately missed his warmth but nodded when the man said they should get to breakfast. Settling into his spot Loki looked to the pills that Bruce set on the table he remembered some of the from the day before but one of them he definitely did not recognize. *Bruce?* he questioned softly.

It wasn’t exactly comforting to hear that Loki simply hadn’t been paying enough attention to the children he carried in order to know if they’d kicked yet, but Tony didn’t comment on it. Fenrir hopped up into his seat as soon as he saw Loki and tony, watching the men curiously. Tony stood for a moment, considering if he would stay for breakfast, but then the call of coffee from the kitchen delayed that decision. That had been what he’d ventured up here for in the first place. Bruce looked over when Loki called for him, arching a brow. Seeing that the god was questioning the pills, Bruce gave a small shrug. “It’s from our conversation yesterday.” He replied slowly, not sure if Loki wanted the mansion to know what they’d decided on. And it was still up to Loki if he even wanted to take it.

Loki could sense Tony's disappointment in him about not having paid the correct amount of attention to his children. Looking to Fenrir when the pup jumped into his chair Loki gave a soft smile. When Bruce explained that the extra pill before him was for their conversation the day before Loki nodded and looked to his lap to not show the shame and embarrassment that he felt. He contemplated that pill for a moment before he decided that he would take it. Bruce had said that if it didn't work they would stop treatment. Picking up the pills he took them swallowing water with every few he took.

Bruce watched Loki as he took the pills, pleased to see that Loki was at least willing to try. He knew Loki had some notions about this, but hopefully he’d be able to show Loki that there was nothing to be ashamed of. There was a more or less peaceful air this morning as the few who were already up sat around the table sipping on coffee, tea, and juice, at least until a squabble started in the kitchen, Steve and Tony’s raised voices could easily be heard. Bruce blinked in the direction of the noise. “Haven’t heard that in a while.” He said slowly. A moment later Tony was promptly pushed from kitchen by Bucky, holding his hands out before him in an effort to keep the giant cup of hot coffee he held form spilling.

Loki looked around at everyone when he had finished swallowing all the pills bruce had given him. He was relaxed by the atmosphere and settled in his chair relaxing and just being until he heard the squabble. Sitting up in the chair he looked towards the kitchen worrying his bottom lip. When bruce commented that he hadn't heard such a thing in awhile Loki rolled his chair away from the table more worried. He could hear Tony's voice and he knew he had upset the man earlier. When Tony was shoved from the kitchen by Bucky loki rolled closer but not too far from the table. He wanted to help Tony but he knew he was no match for Bucky.

Tony turned as soon as Bucky let go of him. The assassin stood in the doorway though, blocking Tony’s entry as the Tony stood on his toes to hurl a few last comments at Steve. “Hope your omelets are friggen worth it.” He grumbled as he finally dropped back down to his feet. Eyeing Bucky for a moment, there seemed to be an instant where Tony was considering trying to push his way through, sizing up Bucky, but he thought better of it. Turning away, he grumbled into his cup as he moved toward his seat.

Bruce didn’t move as the squabble continued. It wasn’t until Loki began to move that he really reacted. Reaching out and grabbing the chair, he kept Loki from getting any further than he had already gone, just shaking his head. Tony fighting wasn’t good, but it was an improvement to the silent lethargy he’d been showing.

Loki watched as Tony faced off with Bucky he wanted to help his mate but he didn't know if the man would accept that. Before he could truly convince himself to do it anyway Bruce had grabbed the back of his chair and shaking his head at him. Loki frowned when he heard Tony yell to Steve, he watched the man until Tony backed away and moved to his seat. He rolled himself back to the table and settled again but watched Bucky from the corner of his eyes.

Bucky just waited in the doorway until Tony had sat down, frowning at him. When he was certain Tony wouldn’t come back into the kitchen, he turned and went back in to Steve. Tony settled in his chair and soon enough Fenrir was in his lap, talking to him quietly about having sent him up to help Loki. Tony just wrapped his arms around the pup and reassured him that he’d done the right thing and wasn’t in trouble before Fenrir began to ask about other things, curious about various things Tony was supposed to be doing down in his lab.

Bruce watched as everyone resettled before he leaned his elbows onto the table, looking over at Loki. “So did you find the song you looked for last night?’ he asked softly.

Loki watched when Fenrir jumped into Tony's lap, he liked seeing his son and his mate together. He loved that Tony would hold the boy close and take but also give comfort. Reassuring the pup seemed second nature to the man and it made Loki's heart ache a bit to know that he had missed their growing close. Looking to Bruce when the man asked about the song he nodded gently and gave a soft smile. He had gotten the song and planned on doing more. *Want to do more today, I have a couple of things he should understand.* Loki told Bruce.

Tony was good with Fenrir over all, there were still moments where he’d frown or pause, unsure of what he should or could say to the pup, but he was having fewer of those. He was different from Loki though, he didn’t cuddle and coddle Fenrir too much. But then again he wrestled with Fenrir from time to time where Loki really didn’t do that much, so it was a different type of relationship. And Fenrir still soaked up all the attention Tony would give him, no matter what form it came in.

Bruce smiled when Loki said he would find more songs. It was good for Loki to focus on something, and if it worked, then perhaps it would improve Loki’s mood. “Well you have most of the morning free to work on it. I would like you to come down to the infirmary after breakfast though. I want to run a few more blood tests to see how quickly rest and proper food is affecting you. And if you’ll allow me, I’d like to pull sample or two from the babies. You don’t have to see them and we don’t have to talk about it. I just haven’t had the opportunity to run any of the normal preliminary checks on them. Nothing ot worry about, just one of those better safe than sorry situations.” He said, pushing Loki’s glass of water closer to him to urge him to drink more.

Loki smiled back at bruce glad that the man seemed to approve. At bruce saying that he had most of the morning to work on it he shook his head. *Fenrir and I were going to see if we could speak with my mother this morning.* Loki explained. Hearing that Bruce wanted him to come down to the infirmary for tests after breakfast he nodded. He could understand the man wanted to keep track of his progress. When the man said that he wanted to pull some samples from the babies Loki stiffened until bruce explained that it wouldn't cause them harm and was nothing to worry about. *Should, should Tony come. He hasn't seen them yet.* Loki asked softly casting a quick glance to his son and Tony before looking back to bruce. He took the water pushed to him aND sipped at it. He wanted Tony to see the babies but also be there. Tony deserved to be and loki wanted him there, especially incase he couldn't handle seeing the twins again.

Bruce blinked when Loki admitted to planning on speaking with Frigga, but nodded. He knew Loki hadn’t been able to speak with her much since he left, he was probably eager to start speaking with her again. And Fenrir always enjoyed talking to his grandmother. When Loki asked about Tony coming with them, Bruce gave a small shrug. “It may be a good idea if you want to ask him to come. But that’s all if you think you can handle seeing the babies again. He’ll want to look.” He said slowly, watching Loki closely.

Loki listened to Bruce as the man said that it was a good idea if he wanted to ask Tony to come. When the man continued to say that he should only do it if he could handle seeing the babies again. He knew that Tony would want to look of course, he knew before he had asked if he should invite Tony. Looking over to Tony he nodded softly. He just wasn't sure how to ask the man and he opened and closed his mouth a couple of times. He didn't know how to ask the man to come with him. He knew they had had a rough conversation that morning but it had seemed to end alright but this was different.

Bruce smiled as Loki seemed to agree with him. Tilting his head, he reached out and placed a hand on Loki’s shoulders as the god tried to figure out what to say. Trying to offer comfort to his friend, Bruce waited for a few moments, but ultimately decided he needed a little push. “Tony? Loki thinks there is something you’d like to see after breakfast.” He said slowly, starting the conversation. Looking up, Tony stared at the men, brow furrowed slightly, Fenrir looking over to them as well.

Loki looked up to Bruce when the man placed a hand on his shoulder. When Bruce spoke calling Tony's attention to them Loki was quickly looking back to his mate. *Bruce wants to check on the babies...* he offered after a moment when Tony turned furrowed brows towards them. He was suddenly worried that Tony would turn the chance down. Maybe feeling them was okay but seeing them would be too real.
