"I am so very sorry for troubling you. I should have spoken with you sooner. Please forgive me." She spoke, her eyes beginning to brim with tears.

sasuke sat down and prometheus stood in front of her. "Forgive me, sir, but I do not know if you realize what has just happened." Brooke spoke looking sideways at the blind man who still sat on the bench some metres away.

"I gave up my mother's sense."
The girl looked down and frowned at her feet.
"I shouldn't hurt people like this. I was too selfish. I am sorry."

Brooke swallowed nervously.
"I-i suppose so..." She said, adding quickly, "Only if you don't mind..."
The others did not notice, but Justin had turned his head as to hear better.
"... I don't know if I will be the right one to give such things to..."

prometheus knelt in front of her. "you are the perfect person to bestow a gift on." he looked into her eyes and smiled. "it may hurt some.......but nothing bad shall happen to you"

Justin sat up rigidly, wishing very much for eyesight. What is he giving to her?

prometheus nodded and took out something shiny. he placed it on her arm and it attached itself, slightly painfully because it cant be removed without tearing skin to shreds. it clicked and then glowed a soothing color of blue.

Elsa felt inferior in many ways as she bit her donut hungrily. Prometheus had called Brooke forth to talk with him. Sasuke was a great warrior of fire. Mobius had sacrificed his life for another person...Elsa was a policewoman with a sword randomly appearing into her hands. She was on a level far below these people...never really realising it.

sasuke had suddenly appeared behind elsa as promethus was with brooke. he looked at her. "you are an important part in this too......."

[Oh, Krusadin. You're a silly. Elsa is much more meaningful and powerful of a character than a whiny girl with only part of a set of emotions.]
"Ah--" Brooke winced as the object joined her flesh, but it was remedied quickly.
Justin stood abruptly.
"Brooke?"
He walked forward, arms outstretched. The way he was when there were others walking with him had caused her to forget his handicap. He stumbled forward and called her name once more.
"Justin," Brooke spoke with regret. "I am so sorry. I am here."
The girl offered her hand, placing another on his shoulder as he righted himself.
"Forgive me, I-i--" She cocked her head as one might looking at a wounded kitten. "I was foolish to leave you."
He laughed on the outside and told her not to be so serious. "It's nothing, kid."
Prometheus advanced to join the pair and the three of them moved to where Sasuke and Elsa had begun speaking.
Brooke clung to Justin's arm and pulled at it slightly as if it were a lead.
