Deep Kiss of Winter.

((Actually, they relied on blue screen as little as possible and used a LOT of forced perspective shots and body doubles. At least, for the first movie. Once they started figuring out the CGI, the second and third movies relied less and less on practical effects and just started throwing the CG into shots that didn't necessarily need it. XP

Alyson blinked. "Oh . . . So . . . regular sized people got turned . . smaller?" she asked, not really understanding, but not REALLY questioning it at this time since she just wanted to watch more. It hadn't really explained the orcs either, but she guessed if they could make people look smaller, they could make people look like monsters too . . .

((Still vaild though, in the second movie Sam and froddo have a red hue around them that is typical of blue screens.))

Conrad nodded. "And Make up. And some other things I'll get Katja explain. . .She understands it more than I." He admitted pressing play movie and returned to rubbing her legs.

"Mm." Alyson hummed out in a noncommital agreement to what Conrad said. She was already being sucked back into the story. However, by the time the movie was over, between the strain of watching a rather long movie and the relaxation brought on from Conrad rubbing her legs, Alyson had fallen asleep in her chair. If you asked her what the last part of the movie was that she remembered, she'd tell you they were heading down a river. After that, she had no clue.

Conrad hadn't been paying much attention either. He was making sure that he didn't press to hard and therefore hurt her. The last thing he wanted was to hurt her. Not just because he knew she'd be cross and want him as far from her as possible but the guilt of it would make him draw away from her. He hummed lightly, not realising the movie was over until he looked up for the time.

Once Conrad paused to check for the time, Alyson turned over in the chair so that she was more on her side, her face pressing into the fabric, mouth slightly open as she took long, deep breaths in her sleep. Her legs had pulled back to tuck under her slightly and her arms . . . well, one was tucked under by her stomach and the other was now hanging off the opposite armrest. The blanket was now all twisted around her, though it didn't seem to matter as Alyson was quite deeply asleep.

Conrad looked back and chuckled, going to the entertainment set and putting on a tame Disney movie then returned to gently rubbing her feet. "Oh dear." He purred. He moved over to her and very gently moved her so that the blanket could be untangled. The last thing he wanted was for her to fall off the couch and hurt herself more.

Alyson, however, appeared to not want to get untangled, since, when Conrad reached over to untangle the blanket, she reached out and not only grabbed the blanket to put it back where it was, grabbed his arm and pulled him towards her, blissfully unaware of what she was even doing.

Conrad's eyes widened. Oh god. . .oh god what was he smelling? What was he feeling? Ah~ Oh god. . .oh god. . .

He tried his very best to be careful and not grope what shouldn't be groped without an invitation and fixed the blanket tucking it tight around her to keep her happy.

Alyson sighed and pulled the blanket even closer and snuggled into the couch just a bit more.

Conrad smiled. She looked so adorable. When the phone rang, he got up to quickly answer it so it didn't disturb her sleep. He talked in hushed tones to his brother. He hoped that Ryan had been successful in finding a witch to take a good look at Allyson.

The phone ringing, however, did cause Alyson to stir from her slumber. She rather groggily blinked her eyes opened and looked at the tv with confusion. Those weren't hobbits . . . and she was fairly certain that The Lord of the Rings wasn't an animated film . . . She rubbed at her eyes and yawned. "When'd we change to singing animals?" she asked, mostly to herself as she rather out of habit went to get up to check what was now playing, and maybe rewind it so she could get the story from the beginning, but upon trying to get up, her legs buckled and she quickly was deposited back on the couch. "Oh . . . right." she muttered, pouting and glaring at her legs.

Conrad hung up the phone and returned his face creased in confusion when he saw her up. Hm. She must have been roused by something. "Are you all right Alyson?" He asked noticing her glare. "Oh. Um. . .Sorry. The movie ended. . .I didn't want to start the third one without you awake so I put on a Disney movie that I could watch while you slept. Was that okay?"

"Disney?" she asked in a state of confusion. She vaguely remembered it being a hit in kids cartoons, but beyond that, she hadn't heard much about it. "But isn't that just kids stuff?"

Conrad smirked. "Oh. . .It's not. There have been many smart people who have analysed the films and realised that there are many hidden jokes in it that are really meant for adults. It's been very. . . eye opening. My brother said that a lot of the Valkyrie hadn't seen these and there was a. . .large fight as their strategist investigated these claims the humans made and well. . .They're true."

Alyson blinked. "What? Seriously?" she asked, sitting up a bit straighter, her face quizzical. She then turned to the tv. "Rewind it! Put it back to the beginning! I wanna see it for myself!" she said, almost bouncing in place, overflowing with curiosity.
