As he finished making his coffee, Jensen returned to sit back down across from Ally. He couldn't help himself. Jepsen was in need of coffee and food after not fully eating breakfast. He felt Ally's eyes on him curiously. Jepsen listened as he questioned him once again about the kiss. He found it amusing how concerned he was with it.

Jepsen sipped on his coffee, before responding to his words. He watched as Ally stood to throw his wrapper away before returning to sit back down. ”Ally kissing you had nothing to do with Liam. I kissed you because I wanted to.” Jepsen spoke smiling at Ally speaking truthfully. He took another sip of his coffee as he sat there.

The remainder of their train ride was about as much as he expected. Between where they started and where they ended, there were four stops in-between. He sat quietly beside Micha taking in the amount of people coming and going from the train. Like Micha, he didn't feel a need to fill the time with small talk. It was too loud anyway with the rumbling of the car moving about the track. He likely would have lost his voice from shouting over the noise. The minutes passed and eventually they came to their stop. He looked up from his lap as Micha spoke, nodding. Rising from his seat, Samuel followed Micha towards the door. As they slid open, he walked out on to the noisy platform. Everywhere around him were people coming and going. He stayed close to Micha so he didn't lose him to the crowd. Together, they walked through the hoards of people and came towards a set of stairs. Samuel followed up behind him and was careful where he stepped. The stairs were slick with rain and he could hear the droplets smacking against the pavement. Samuel raised his hood as they soon reached the surface. If he didn't know any better, he could have sworn it was raining even harder than before. "Alright, your pick. Where are we off to?" he asked curiously.

Alaine didn't mind having Jepsen so close to him. He was strangely more comfortable with him than he was with most people. Whether that had anything to do with the fact that they recently had sex though remained to be unseen. For now, he was enjoying his company. He wanted to know more about him. As Alaine busied himself with throwing away his trash, he asked the man his question. Coming back, he watched Jepsen sip his brew and taking a moment for himself before responding. Alaine blushed when Jepsen did speak. He stared at him a bit in awe. He didn't understand what Jepsen could see in a guy like him. But in his own way, he was glad that he saw something. He smiled to himself as he nodded quietly.

Responding to Ally’s question, he watched as he blushed. Jepsen found it amusing as Ally didn’t respond but merely nodded. He took a sip from his coffee watching him. Jepsen smiled at him, ”What no comment?” He teased as he relaxed across from Ally. Jepsen enjoyed spending time with Ally. It was something new for him. He didn’t mind Ally’s personality, he rather liked it. To some people it would be a turn off, but he hardly cared. Jepsen didn’t see anything wrong with Ally, just that he was closed off, but probably because he feared getting hurt. Most people thought that. He didn’t care about getting hurt himself, after all he didn’t expect much out of this. Jepsen was merely looking to be Ally’s friend if he wanted one.

Honestly he wasn't sure what he could say to a comment like that. If he said something negative it would sound as though he were essentially turning Jepsen down. And he wasn't comfortable enough to admit that he was starting to like him too. Plus he didn't feel like they knew each well enough to say such words. He didn't want to come off like he was proposing something he wasn't sure he was ready for. In his opinion, silence was the best option for his situation. Alaine stood there blushing and nodded his head. Jepsen must have found some amusement in the gesture as he smiled back at him.

Listening to the man tease him, Alaine shrugged. "Well, I mean, what else can I say? You'll likely disagree if I did comment." he replied honestly. He too liked spending time with the man. He was a lot more fun than a certain ex-somebody they weren't supposed to be talking about. He just didn't get why he would chose him of all people. Alaine was no one special. He didn't have hobbies, he didn't have a big circle of friends, he hardly went out. Most nights he was curled up on the very couch they just made out on watching Netflix. If friendship was what Jepsen really wanted, then that was fine. Though he wasn't sure they could call themselves friends. He tried not to make a habit of kissing his friends. It seemed to always lead him into trouble.

Jepsen knew that Ally didn't see himself as special. He didn't understand why. Jepsen knew it was better not to argue with him. Although he wanted to he remained silent about it. Jepsen didn't know what Ally wanted out of this. If he wanted to go back to being invisible to him that was fine. He could go back about his business of coming into work then going home. Nothing had to come out of rebound sex.

Teasing Ally he couldn't help himself. Jepsen listened as Ally spoke. He shrugged lightly, ”Speak your mind Ally even if it's bad.” Jepsen spoke wanting to know what he was thinking. He didn't care if it was bad. Jepsen only cared if Ally spoke his mind.

Indeed, there was no use in arguing with him. No matter what pretty words of poetry Jepsen might have. He knew in the end there would be no changing his mind about his own self worth. Alaine knew where he stood in this world and he was content with it. He wasn't like Samuel, who aimed for the bigger and better. So long as he had a roof over his head, food in his stomach, and a place to rest his head. That was all he really needed.

When it came to Jepsen, he wasn't entirely sure what he wanted to come of their relationship. He didn't really mind being friends. But he wasn't fully against the idea of trying for something more either. He just wasn't sure about going public right away. After all, so many customers and employees witnessed the scandal that was his break-up last night. It would be foolish to jump straight into another relationship and announce it to the world.

Alaine didn't mind as the male teased him. Though what he said back, was a bit more serious. He wasn't sure how Jepsen might take what he had to say. Most people didn't care his opinions. They often thought him to be rude or just saying something to be hateful for no reason. Alaine gave him a small shrug as he leaned against the counter. "Alright," he said, brushing his hair away from his face. "Well the truth is, I think you have bad taste in guys....I mean, you shouldn't waste your time or energy on boring guys like me. After all, you're good looking guy, you could have anyone."

Jepsen knew rushing into a relationship but to fast. After all it hadn't been twenty-four hours since Liam and Ally broke up. He wasn't looking to rush things. Jepsen was merely curious. He didn't want to push Ally after all it would do him no good. Jepsen would give Ally the space he needed but it wasn't as if he was going anywhere.

Watching Ally, he took note of b his disagreement. Jepsen didn't mind if Ally had something to say. He rather him speak his mind than ignore his words. Jepsen watched as Ally shrugged his shoulders. He listened as Ally spoke before laughing softly. Jepsen stood from the seat setting his cup down.

Making his way around the counter he, turned Ally around. He slipped his hands over his waist as he pressed into him. ”Can't I make that decision for myself?” Jepsen teased as he stood before Ally. He didn't need Ally choosing things before him. Especially without asking what he wanted. If Ally wanted to push him away fine but he wanted a choice for himself.

Alaine didn't even know what he was looking for at this point. He knew for sure that he liked being around Jepsen. He was warm, nice, and comforting. Then again, he knew next to nothing about him. Nor was he all that up for letting another person learn about him. He didn't think that Jepsen would treat him in the same manner that Liam had. But he just wasn't ready to go looking for anything in particular.

He had already more or less made up his mind on how the man should be thinking of him. And it most certainly did not involve flights of fancy or whatever pedestal he had decided to put him on. Whatever ideals Jepsen might have of him, he just was not that person. He stayed leaning against the counter as he told him as such. He stared curiously as Jepsen laughing and watched him rise from his chair.

Jepsen crossed the small area of the kitchen and he was turned around to face him. He felt the mans hands slip over his waist and his cheeks started to heat up as the man invaded his space. He listened to Jepsen's teasing and shrugged his shoulders. Of course Jepsen was free to make his own decision. But he was scared that he would only come to the same conclusion that he had just given him. He would rather Jepsen know what he was getting into rather just jumping in with blind faith, hoping that he would stick around unlike all the others.

Standing before Ally, he watched as his cheeks darkened. Jepsen didn't know what Ally was thinking. He found one minute he could understand him the next he was like a safe, hard to open. Jepsen watched as Ally shrugged his shoulders. He stayed where he was. ”Did you want me to run away Ally, leave as if this never happened?” Jepsen asked curiously as he stood before him. He wasn't forcing anything between them. However he didn't want to impose himself where it wasn't needed.

For the most part he was trying, he really was. He wanted to be more open with Jepsen. But at the same time he did not trust enough in order to do so. Since yesterday, Jepsen had been nothing but kind and straightforward with him. It was a shame he couldn't find it in himself to do the same. Alaine knew that the man was just being kind, that he actually did care about him for whatever unknown reason. In return all he was doing was coming off was rude and a tad bitchy. He stood there feeling awkward and looking nowhere in particular as Jepsen crowded his space. In answer to the man's questions he shrugged silently. Of course, Jepsen should be able to make his own choices. But he also just didn't want him to end up disappointed somewhere later down the line if they were to stick together. Hearing the man speak again, Alaine shook his head. "No." he replied softly. Despite his mannerisms, he didn't want Jepsen going anywhere. He wasn't imposing and he certainly did not feel like he was forcing something that wasn't there. Alaine was just himself. Awkward, shy, and a tad bitchy.

Jepsen didn't mind Ally's bitchiness. He wasn't bothered by it. If anything, he rather enjoyed it. Jepsen watched as Ally seemed to look anywhere but him. He listened as Ally spoke, smiling at his words. Jepsen slipped closer as he kissed Ally against his lips. ”Good, then I'm not going anywhere. I'm not saying I expect anything out of this but don't make my choices for me.” He spoke as he remained close. Jepsen knew that this was just sex but if he had to go back to the way things were between them than fine.

He found it a little odd how well Jepsen was taking his bitchy attitude. That was one thing Liam seemed to hate about him most. Instead talking things out like adults, the man would just throw his own attitude right back at him. Who needed words when they could be bitchy and miserable together. He continued to stand there feeling awkward but eventually gave him an answer. If he was being honest with himself, he did not want to be alone right now. From the corner of his eye, he saw the man slide closer and closed his eyes briefly as he kissed. Alaine kissed him back just before he pulled back to speak. At last looking up, Alaine listened to what all he had to say. He nodded his head silently and sighed. "Alright fine. I'll let you find out all on your own how boring I am." he replied, smirking. Leaning up, he stole another kiss from Jepsen's lips.

Being bitchy never bothered him. Jepsen was a pretty laid back person. He was never concerned with people yelling at him. It was probably what made him a good bartender too. Jepsen could tolerate stupid and drunk people. Watching as Ally looked back at him, he couldn't help but kiss him. He worried Ally may not kiss him back but he soon felt him return the kiss. Jepsen felt Ally pull back to speak. He nodded smiling at his words. ”Whatever you say.” Jepsen teased soon feeling Ally kiss him back. He returned the kiss as his hands slipped to Ally's waist as he held onto him.

It was pretty obvious how much more laid back Jepsen was compared to himself. He had noticed how calm he remained during his meltdowns and even this morning when Liam had come into the diner. It was strange to him to think that he could be so calm. Then again, it was probably easier for him since he was not as involved in the situation. Alaine did not mind when Jepsen kissed him and soon returned it to him. He smirked up at the man as he teased him and laughed softly as he was teased back. Leaning up, Alaine stole another kiss from the males lips and soon felt him kiss back. As he stood there, he took note of Jepsen's hands wrapping around his waist. He didn't mind. While he would not admit it out loud, he was starting to like being held by Jepsen. He felt safe with him.
