My fault for believing him. The French have shipped a couple animes here of their own. Code: Lyoko for one.

stellarmagic Never mind, that was my father telling me it was french. Thats how old the Speed Racer series is. The show was inspired by Elvis and the Goldfinger movie. Yeah. Its extremely old. I really dont consider it a classic either.

Yeah, I saw they updated again. Carthage is always fun, and it's always great to stand on the ruins of Rome and beat your chest with victory.

Especially when you smash them well before the Historical start of the 1st Punic War. I always end up having problems with the Successor states though. The Seluecids especially. If I share a border with them, even if I make an alliance, within three years they're tryng to march in. They never win (Unless I put it on auto) but I never have the resources to march in and finish 'em off.

Your allies are slaughtered. Your enemies are right at your doorstep. It's your last stand. They've got everything from here to the ocean to fall back on. You've got a sharpened stick.
It's almost too easy...

There are times when I dont think I need to waste my time with a minor irritant (as Ive got city building to do to provide me the funds to continue my global conquest) and so I set it on auto reslove. Then I lose, costing me valuable men. Or I win but it costs me a commander. Ugh. And you can never win at Naval combat unless you get 4-1 odds in your fvor.

Medieval: Total War was like that.
Auto-battles were either losses, or costly victories. It's aboslute BS.
Oh, and my net's still f-ed to Hell. I'm debating whether to even try staying online.
