Well, the way that it works out with drako is this:
-He is human, instead of droid, so ion blasters have little effect on him.
-He is no longer limited to the speed of his droid, due to organic limbs, and can use force powers on himself.
-He is also bound to the oh so present fatigue caused by lactic acid.
-He is screwed when Ysalimari are present, as every jedi is much more limited both in the saber and in the force when the buggas are present.
But, his droid, is bound by this:
-AI is predictable (more than a human being).
-Still limited speedwise.
-Has a limit to the skill it has with a lightsaber, since it can't rely on muscle memory.
-Has no "instincts" as well, so it must identify the situation before acting. (not long, but still required)
-Relies on the equiptment inside it. So, it might have "hearing" that is sensitive, but the equiptment might also be sensitive, so it gets hit once, and its knocked out.
- Lastly, it can't use the force, and it completely screwed by ion bolts.
That's the rules of fair engaugement, IMO. The droid shouldn't be anythign to worrry about. Plus, secondary characters, like gunny and the droid, aren't the main players, so eh. Basically focus has to be kept on the main character.

and I was so looking forward to using my anti mechanical weapon.
Hey Nelo, is the Mon Cal/Dac entry good? otherwise Im moving onto Blackmoon.

The only thing on Mon calimari is two things: 1) the reson why calimairans and quarrens don't see eye to eye is the rumor that the Quarren let the shields down for the empire to destroy millions of Calimarians and destroyed three cities in the process because the planet would not side with the empire (so it was enslaved instead). 2) how could you forget about the glurpfish gumbo?
