Loki grimaced at the thought of being confined to the bed with Fenrir bored. *That will not make for a good few days of rest...* Loki sighed. He reigned himself to ask Bruce later if it had to be the bed he was confined to or if he could be moved to the living area where he could still rest and Fenrir could play with the others while keeping an eye on Loki. When Tony promised to never let such things happen again Loki frowned before it transformed into a soft almost apologetic smile. *Do not make promise you can not keep and will regret later. I am sure I will be taken at least once more.* Loki said with a sigh. He knew if Thanos came he would be taken from his family, maybe even turned against them.

Tony’s jaw tightened at the response he got. Shaking his head, he carefully stroked Loki’s stomach. “No…..I won’t let this happen again…..I….if anything had happened to you…..to them….” He closed his eyes, as if unable to even think of the possibility. Sighing, he stood up, slowly pulling the thin sheets over Loki and Fenrir. “You should get some sleep. JARVIS will be up by the time you wake up.” He promised, placing another water bottle by on the night stand and making sure Loki was comfortable.

Loki watched as Tony;s jaw tightened and waited for the explosion of an arguement. It cam but quietly and with Tony stroking his stomach. It was strange for Loki but he wouldn't back down on this. *just make sure nothing ever happens to the children.* he proposed instead of trying to argue that such a thing would happen again. If the children were safe then he wouldn't have to worry about himself. Thanos could do whatever as long as his children were safe. Red eyes watched as Tony stood and pulled the thing sheets over him. He listened to the man explain that JARVIS would be back up by the time he awoke and nodded. He wanted to ask Tony to stay but he knew the man had work to do. *Thank you...* he thanked before settling down.

“I’ll protect all of you.” Tony responded calmly. Looking over Loki once more, he gave a small nod to the thanks before he dimmed the lights and left, the suit that JARVIS was running out of, moving to the door, but stopping before leaving, obviously being left to guard Loki as he slept.

Loki didn't respond when Tony promised to protect all of them. Yawning he felt the tiredness of before moving to overcome him now that he was settled and wanting to sleep. He watched Tony leaving his eyes closing a bit already. He watched the suit move to the doorway and stop bringing a slight smile to Loki's face. Tony wanted him protected, wanted them protected and it made him feel better. He fell asleep then content with the knowledge that he was safe.

Tony made his way down to his lab, staying there long enough to figure out what exactly had been done to shut down JARVIS. As soon as he’d figured it out, he was moving through the house, a toolkit and scanner in his hands as he patched up electrics and rerouted powers through the house. He was fixing JARVIS and the security, but he was also taking notes. He was going to make it better. He was going to keep anyone from ever shutting it down again. No one was allowed to break into this place. Into their home. No one was allowed to hurt his friends…..his family.

The SHIELD agent who had taken Loki had watched as Tony left with the god with Thor at his back. He had waited to make sure that they had left and that the captain had returned from whatever trip they had gone on before contacting the man. "Send a message to captain Rodgers to call in." he demanded. He had the blood of the god but it was only a vial. They needed more and wanted to find out more about the child he was carrying. A child stark was claiming as his. As soon as Rodgers had commedia in the man set straight into his scolding. "You seem to have lost grip on your team captain. Can you explain to me why stark and Thor deemed it necessary to storm my facility and steal Loki who broke the deal with SHIELD demoing his imprisonment. Does stark think ge can just ignore any rule that suits him?" the agent growled.

Steve called in after a while, wanting confirmation that everyone was alright before he spoke to SHIELD. He sat in silence as the man lectured him, frowning to himself. “First off, I am not one of your agents. The Avengers work with SHIELD, not for them now.” He said calmly. “That means you will be careful of how you talk to me. Secondly, this is your fault. You came into this without full information and you came in too forcefully. Loki is pregnant. He is pregnant with Tony’s child, and he is severely weakened due to his condition.” Steve said slowly, pacing his room and ignoring Bucky’s gaze, which followed his every move. “You have no idea how to care for Loki, meaning that him being in your custody would have likely harmed or killed both Loki and the child. The only person who has any understanding of how to care for him is Bruce, so in this, I fully support Tony and Thor collecting Loki and bringing him back.”

The agent raised an eyebrow when Steve declared that he wasn't one of their agents and that the Avengers worked with SHIELD not for them. "We were under the impression that Loki is a dangerous individual with enough magic to take over the earth." the agent replied when Steve told him that they had come in without full information and too forceful. He still didn't believe that they child Loki was carrying was Stark's but that was a matter for another time or for testing later. "How then do you recommend we care for him? Shall we invite Dr. Banner to come along to make sure Loki had proper care?" the man asked wondering if with Loki they could acquire Banner as well.

Steve pinched the bridge of his nose as the man continued speaking. “Loki is of no threat to anyone at the moment. And I can promise you, if anyone takes SHIELD away from this mansion right now, they will be hurt because Stark and Thor will come after him, and I will not stop them. So my recommendation on his care is for him to be left here. If you’re so concerned about him, I suggest you send an agent here. One, single, reasonable agent. They can sit down and talk with Loki and with Tony. And I well promise you, that if it is you that shows up. You are likely to not walk out of here whole because Tony and Thor are not happy, and no one here will stop them.” Steve said coolly. “And if you are looking at trying to snag Banner to further your career and position, I would suggest you just stop right there. Bruce has proven to be much more in control with the Avengers than anywhere else, and there is nothing SHIELD can do to actually contain him. So perhaps figure something else out.”

The agent frowned again when Steve told him that Loki was no threat to anyone at the moment. Then Steve was promising that if anyone came for Loki again the same would happen and possibly more injury without the captain stopping it. "He broke an agreement with SHIELD on leaving the mansion or tower without an escort captain. The agreement if he did such a thing was imprisonment in a SHIELD base." the man argued when Steve recommended that Loki remain at the mansion and that if he really want to keep track of the god he would have to send an agent there. Then he was being threatened that if he was the one to show up that he would not be leaving in one piece.This was not going how the man wanted it to, he had thought of all of them Captain Rodgers would understand what needed to be done the most but it seemed that perhaps that was not the case.

“I understand what his agreement was. I understand why you’re so intent on bringing Loki in, I do.” Steve sighed, looking Bucky over. He was a soldier, he knew what was going on in the agent’s head, but he also understood Tony’s point. If he was in the genius’ position and Bucky was the one being threatened, he’d be on the breaking point too. “But you are threatening Loki’s health and safety and the health and safety of the children he is carrying, no matter if you mean to or not. Stark will not let you do that. There isn’t a force in the universe that could keep Tony from coming after and protecting Loki right now. The sooner you realize that. The smoother this all will be.”

The agent seemed a bit more sure of himself as Steve explained that he understood that Loki had had an agreement and why he was so keen on bringing the god in. "I am not attempting to threaten the health or safety of the man, I am even offering to make whatever accomidations that are needed to ensure both his and the child's health. So please explain to me why it is that leaving him there is the option that must be taken." the man demanded. He wanted to argue that there was a force that could stop Stark from coming after Loki however he was sure none of the team or even the director thought that a viable option unless the man turned sides.

“Because in order to make sure that they’re healthy, you’d have to make many, many accommodations, and most of them just aren’t plausible.” Steve snapped, beginning to lose his patience with the stubborn idiot on the phone. “You’d have to have Bruce be the primary, and likely sole doctor, which would require him to be essentially locked up as well and around a lot of people that would make him jumpy and nervous, thus putting everyone at risk. You’d have to have Tony locked up with Loki as well. Loki’s health right now is partially reliant on being around Tony, that’s the main reason he came back. And there is no way in hell that Tony’s going to stand for that. And Thor feels responsible for the safety of his brother, thus meaning that he’d have to remain nearby too. Again, not someone you want to confine the movements of. That means that you’re taking three of the main components of the Avengers team, thus rendering us unlikely to be able to handle many if not most of the issues that we’re responsible for.” He said quickly, listing off reason after reason why taking Loki was foolish. “I hope I’m making myself clear enough that even you can figure out that taking them is foolish. Or perhaps I need to go on.”

The agent listened to Steve as the man listed out all of the sort of accomadations that Loki would need. He was skeptical about quite a few of them inccluding the part where Loki needed Tony and that was why he had come back. He also doubted that Thor needed to be in the building with his brother. He thought that SHIELD had established a form of trust with the blond god. The only thing that made sense was Dr. Banner being Loki's primary doctor since the man had already been caring for the dark haired god and probably knew more than anyone else so far. Of course he would have the man teach other doctors as he could because the agent understood that there would be missions at some point that required the Hulk. Still he doubted that the Captian would say such things unless he believed them true. "I will contact the Director and notify him. I suspect you should expect an agent there within twelve hours or another decision about Loki to be made." With that the agent disconnected the line not wanting to deal with the Avengers any longer.

"I wonder who they will send. If its that fool I'll help Tony and Thor tear him apart." Clint said from a couch he was perching on. "Still if its not him we should be cautious this guy wants Loki for more than the deal they established. Hopefully Fury will send someone not easily bent to that man's will." Clint continued.
