He came out next to Kat. “Who said I left you, love? If I suddenly disappear, it’s a job… and I’ll be back as soon as possible, to see your lovely face again…” He lightly caressed her cheek.

kat closed her eyes and whimpered. laying her head into his hand. "you left me with bane and that wierd killer vampire..."

“Nyx was there,” He murmured. “If you were in any real danger, she’d protect you.”

kat hissed. "i dont like nyx.."

He smirked. “I suppose her AI has a part in that.”

kat nodded, then she climbed up the tree

He pulled her down, onto his lap as he sat down.

kat smiled at him lightly, "why hello there...."

He rolled his eyes, kissing her.

kat kissed him back grinning. "so what are we gonna do today?"

"I'll be gone for a few minutes," he murmured, kissing her again, "So I can run something back to Command. After that..." He chuckled. "We'll see."

kat nodded slowly hateing the thought of being away from him to long "ill be waiting.."

kat climbed back up the tree when he was gone and she stood up on the top balanced on one foot. she looked around
