EVERYONE knows I have a huge problem with drawing males.. So, that's all I've been doing lately! NO WOMEN! ~GASP!~ Anyways, I have three results to show. Granted, they're not furry.. But I want to make sure I'm at least getting the male anatomy down pat. ^^;; Crits?

That's good. 3nodding Personally, I find males a lot easier to draw than females.

INSPIRATION HIT!

...and apparently it wanted to throw a beach party.
But we couldn't, so we we compromised with an awesome drawing.

User Image

Nonsense aside, ZOMGZ I've FINALLY gotten around to colouring something worthy of uploading!!!
So here it is. XD

This is by far the best picture I have EVER done of my fursona, and will be using it as a reference for other artists wanting to draw meh from now on. =3

And those are sweatdrops. I like the beach, but I hate water, unless it involves a scolding steam shower hot enough to peel the paint right off the ceiling of the bathroom. XD

First pic I've completely coloured in months now, felt good to be back at it. Hopefully gonna have more to come ^.^

By the way Kaky, your work is awesome as ever. <3

That's awesome Doomie, and it looks like you're improving with the muzzles, making her looks more big cattish than housecat.

Sheol- what problem can you possible mean, they look great.

....

*Squees like fan girl because she remembers Sheol will be drawing Aeden in several of her large group pics* whee 4laugh heart

Kaky- All I can say to your work in progress pieces is wow. I really would love you to continue working with that style. I think it is a great breakthrough for you to focuse on pieces where you don't rely heavily on a big bulky black outline. I've always thought the sketchy quality of most of your outlines just didn't do your pictures justice. I would really consider to continue moving away from such a bold usage of an outline. The bottom sun work in progress, is a great example of still enjoying a sketchy feeling outline but not using it everywhere and avoiding black. To me, the lower ones really feel like they are done professionally and everything about them is very much intended. This is a completely different feel than I get from many of your other pieces. The above ones feel to me more like someone who hasn't got a great handle on CGing. Keep up the good work and experimentation. I know you do a lot of art, and sometimes growth can get lost in the need to rush through tons of pictures.

Doomie, magnificant as usual. I really love the picture and it should make a great refrence pic when your commissioning others. I understand what you mean though about having problems turning out really good pieces. As of late my art classes seriously stole every spark out of my creative body. I haven't been able to do a serious drawing for myself in ages. I also feel that I have never done anything close to decent when it comes to CGing because I am so computer impaired. I have finally sat down and started looking through some tutorials and it is amazing how much I have learned only looking at a few of them. Example- Krissim never realized what such simple devices as ink flow could do. Almost wet herself when she realized she had never noticed she could with a few clicks could change the opacity of the ink. *dies from embaressment*

Needless to say, another sad point of mine is I have never really done a good drawing of Aeden. Love him to death but only done a few quick sketches and quicky pieces of him. I was so thrilled the other day when I did an adorable sketch of him to use my freshly learned CGing info. It is only a little anime/chibi sketch of him, but it is the first thing I've been pleased with in ages.

Whoo, that that was a long post of mine. Guess I've felt bad about not having the time to respond in here lately. xd

Ironically enough, I envy me too.

And Juicio is the name of the person who made this for me. Not the character piccy. I have uber thanks for my warrior wolf/thing.

That is amazing.... ._. I want art by him, but I most likely can't afford to comission him.

*Shrugs.* Really, I am just as confuzzled about it as the next person. All I did was manipulate some pixels, and he made me this! Man. *Faints from the awsomeness of it.*

Oh yeah. Here is the larger version.
