Trigramatic While Blizz and the others went to the kitchen, Tails first went outside. The air was fresh, and after that terrible wake-up, he thought he could use it. Tristen went on to follow, but being behind the group, he took notice to Tails making his way outside. "...?" He took the detour, following Tails outside for a moment, tilting his head. "Tails?"

Tails stood leaning against the outer wall of the building, his eyes focused on his puffs of breath. It was hard to read his expression -- perhaps he had nothing to convey.

Trigramatic Tails stood leaning against the outer wall of the building, his eyes focused on his puffs of breath. It was hard to read his expression -- perhaps he had nothing to convey. Tristen walked closer to Tails. "Tails?" He spoke up. "Is something wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong," Tails said, eyes falling on Tristen. They were just as bright as before coming out. "I just needed some air. Sometimes I wonder if I enjoy peoples' scents too much is all." There was no hesitation in this admission. "It keeps me from getting scared."

"If there are people I know around, it means nothing bad will happen," Tails answered. "Usually. And Mikey usually freaked out if I sniffed at him in the wrong places."

Trigramatic "If there are people I know around, it means nothing bad will happen," Tails answered. "Usually. And Mikey usually freaked out if I sniffed at him in the wrong places." Suddenly he remembered what Luke told him back in Hyda. Tails had that whole pack mentality that had him feel safe...though be that as it were, in ways, it kind of killed the social life a bit, especially if Tails sniffed where he shouldn't have. "Oh." He said. "I don't make you feel safe, do I?" He asked. Tristen knew of his limitations right now, to say the least. He wasn't as strong as the much older hybrids around, to say the least, and comparing to Tails, who was younger than him? Forget it. Outclassed yet again.

Trigramatic "Just because you don't really know how to fight yet?" Tails wondered. "Is that it? Knowing you're around, or anyone's around, means I'm not alone. And being alone is the worst." Tristen thought for a moment then looked back at Tails. For once, he probably understood Tails now. Just what exactly made him tick. "Well, I will try to be around for you then." He said. Though this went without saying already, he thought.

I don't think I learned a whole lot when we were back at that gym." He said. "It was kind of stopped when all of this happened." He said.

"I wonder if it's broken..." Sub pondered as he sat on the floor of the main area of HQ with a large bowl of water in front of him. The bowl was half full and in the center of it was the strange chi filtering device that they had retrieved from Team Cipher. Apparently Sub was attempting to test the device himself, but to no avail. "Gah, it's not doing anything another than humming..." He grunted.

Seth walked up behind Sub. 'Maybe we need to match pitch with it? Or maybe it needs a little jolt? Or even better...' He smirked and pulled a Pokeball out of his bracer. 'How about a Zap of energy?' He let out his Magnemite, and had it use a very, very weak verion of Thunderbolt on the water, hoping it would do something to the filtering machine.
