"Oh, nuh-uh," Tails said, and stuck a foot up to intercept Tristen's face. He did not yet do anything about Riolu. This was too fun to pass up.

KisaRinny A smile broke out onto Heine's face, a large one at that. She'd always wanted to see one of the Hybrids up close. Slowly, she walked around him, inspecting him; lifting up things, poking him here and there, patting him down almost like she would be searching for a weapon.
"I am really ~/~ impressed. Never thought I'd get to see an actual Hybrid, especially up close." Heine voiced, obviously excited, even a little uncharacteristically excited. I got up quickly out of my seat, then held my arm out, quickly charging an Ice Beam in one palm, aiming it at her. "Would you like to see what THIS does up close!?" I asked. "I'm not a blasted zoo animal, you heifer!" Yea, patience wore thin and broke at this point.

Taking a step back, the blond woman's hands came up. She held her tongue from the 'zoo animal' comment. Oh the things she could say to that. However, she had no desire to spend time as a Popsicle. So she kept her mouth shut and gave the guy some space.
"Alright, alright." Heine stated with a shrug. No she wouldn't say it. If she did, it'd probably give her a one way trip to frozen-ville.

I kept the Ice Beam trained on her for at least a few seconds, staring at her, not too thrilled to say the least. I then gave a hard sigh then stopped the Ice Beam charge in my hand, turning around, grabbing the paper, pen, and my Coke that I had on the table and walked off, mumbling about how the kitchen was a peaceful sanctum some time ago. Maybe I can find some solace in my room...

I spent a lot of time mulling things around that night, before I finally passed out. Sleep did come, though, even if it didn't leave me quite refreshed.
It was kinda early, but I took my thoughts with me to the main lobby. It wasn't just hybrids and stuff that had a hold over my mind, either. Beating Lykas in Sub's little experiment got me thinking about other things.

"Jeez.....this place has changed a lot since the last time I was here." Jira commented to himself as he walked through the main lobby. "I wonder where I can get some new Pokeballs? I haven't bothered catching any new Pokemon in ages." He wondered aloud.

A voice broke me out of my thoughts and brought my eyes to Jira. I couldn't help but wonder how someone as young as he looked could have made their way here. I had gone to bed before he showed up last night, though.
"Hey, can I help you?" I asked Jira.

Jira looked up at Terashi and cocked his head at the boy. "You're a new face." He told the human male as he walked over. "How long you been here?" He asked as he neared. He was genuinely curious how long this guy had been part of the group.

I raised my eyebrow at Jira. Kind of an odd question, coming from a guy I only just met but... what was the harm? "Just for a few weeks," I told him. "Why?"

"Oh, well it's nice to meet you." Jira greeted as he began to levitate, crossing his legs and he sat in the air before the human. "I'm Jira. Haven't been around in a while though." He introduced himself as he held out a diminuitive hand to shake Terashi's, should he offer one in return.

I nodded and shook Jira's hand. "Terashi Toumei. Nice to meet you, too. So... how long have you been here?"

Jira thought for a moment or two, trying to remember the time. "Well....I got back last night but I've been a part of this group for....ooooh.....well over a year now. I've been gone since last summer, though." He admitted as he glanced around, trying to keep an eye out for Chaos. He was determined to avoid him whenever possible.

I was about to ask about it when I noticed how jittery Jira seemed. "Are... you alright?"

Jira nodded. "I'm fine. Just looking out for a guy named Chaos. He's always picking on me." He explained before lowering himself back to the floor. "It's not my fault I'm short but he picks on me for it all the time anyway." He didn't really seem upset about it, though. He knew Chaos was a total jerk but he had also come to realize the man only did it to agitate him.

A long legged woman looking like she had just stepped out of some book about steampunk strode down the stairs at Team Snagem HQ, walking like she owned the place. It was typical for her. Hazel brown eyes scanned the area she was walking in, most people either avoiding her or getting the hell out of her way, which was just fine with her.
Pausing, she spotted a blond head and that shorty, shrimpy guy Jira. Not recognizing the blondie, Heine instead went to Jira, picking him up by the back of his pants.
"Hey there, shorty, who's your friend?" Heine asked with a smirk.
