After waiting practically forever, it was finally time for Hogwarts' first game to begin. On the pitch were the Slytherin team and the Ravenclaws, whom she realized both had rather tall captains. What a weird coincidence! Then again, she'd been the one to set up the teams schedules this year... though it was partially because they had to be specifically scheduled... at least for the Gryffindors... but that was totally fine! For now, she had a game to run. She'd gotten to the pitch early to help with setup and stuff, though she trusted Tàmhas, Nic, and Alice to handle the booth setup, saving her a run up the steps. She had not, however, expected another name in the list. When had they added Amelia? Oh well. Questions for later.
On the pitch, Xiang tooted her whistle to summon players skyward as she flew to the center. Both were in positions and seemed ready enough. "Good morning, my little dumplings! Today we've got our Ravenclaws facing off against the Slytherins! I know we've got new captains, but everyone should be well familiar with all the rules. No cheating, no magic, and remember to have fun! This is going to be great!" She flew to the ground, releasing the Snitch first, then the Bludgers, before taking the Quaffle in hand.
"Captains ready?" She looked between both teams for an affirmative. "Ready!" "Ready." Alright, awesome! "Chasers ready, here's the toss-up!" She tooted her whistle as she threw the ball up dead center before quickly backing up so the game could begin.
