Shaviv Non-sexual, maybe. Do guys in person turn you on? More importantly, do you feel you need to be turned on? -- I've had a brief series of unpleasant dreams. I know it's silly, but I keep beating myself up in my head for the fact that the horrible content of those dreams was nonetheless arousing. It's creepy and disgusting and I would like to shower out my brain now. I would only take sexual arousal in a dream state with a grain of sand. A great deal of the night, both men and women are in a physical state of arousal. Part of the dream state actually involves erections for guys, and contractions and stuff for women. These states have nothing to do with what you are dreaming but it wouldn't be a big leap to say they can at times affect how you are feeling in a dream. I just wouldn't feel bad about it.
Fog- you just aren't into porno. It isn't that odd at all. Porn turns me off. I've always like the statement, leave something to the imagination. If you still have the urge to try and find some sexual relief, maybe you should try some different medias like Romance novels, or something of that nature?

FogSage Shaviv Non-sexual, maybe. Do guys in person turn you on? More importantly, do you feel you need to be turned on? That's a difficult question to answer. When some random guy nearby stretches so that his stomach shows or his underwear is showing from the back, I can't help but stare at him and feel an immediate desire to do SOMETHING with him. They turn me on very much, but I know that they'd never ever do anything with me. Most of them have girlfriends anyway, and those who don't are the size of elephants who would crush me flat if I asked stuff like that. So you basically live in Straightsville?
I should be less judgemental. I do not know where you live, nor do I have more than the faintest idea of your age. Those might help. As it is now, well...
I have both the student community at this school and my professional community, and I know from experience that behaving in a sociable and open manner has gotten me opportunities to chat closely with people, to dance with people, and so on. I don't know what communities you have; but if you have one where you don't have to fear violent rejection, why not hang with them? Buy someone a drink, ask them to dance, etc.
Quote: And yes, I feel a need to be turned on. I feel as though I should be sufficiently aroused by things of a sexual nature. I feel as though I should be less aroused in general. Want some of mine?
...
Maybe, if it could be transplanted... I don't know. But it can't be. So... I don't know what to say. Excuse my bluntness please. From what you say so far, I have little doubt that if you found yourself relaxed in the company of an interested partner, you would have no problem getting it up. So porn doesn't do it; I wouldn't put much significance to that.

Yes, I DO live in Straightsville, and I'm 18. Oklahoma is considered part of the South, and you know what that means: churches on every street, with minsters preaching hellfire and brimstone at their congregation, along with certain moral beliefs that homosexuality is wrong, sinful, and will generally never be accepted as a Christian way of life. If I so much as say the word 'gay', a dozen different guys go "YOU'RE GAY, YOU'RE GOIN' TO HELL, f*****t.". Yes, a wonderful place to be. v.v We have literally no nightclubs for gay people out here in the sticks; I'd need to go to Tulsa or even Oklahoma City for that stuff. Ah well. Perhaps I'll save up and see if I can buy a porn video and see what that does. neutral

*feels really bad for eveyones problems and wonders if she should post her miniscule problems here*
Well, I found out why my paint shop pro wasn't working... My computer was very nice and gave me an error that is has never given me, which was that I was low on virtual memory. Looking it up in my text book from my computer class, it just meant that I was running too many programs. I tried defragmenting my computer, running only paint shop, and compressing files, but nothing worked. Eventualy, I looked into the prosseses that were running on my computer and googling them to see what they did (I actualy learned quite a bit about my computer). I eventualy found a process called "svchost.exe", that turned out to be a trojan. exclaim After I tried to end the process, it started multiplying, and multiplying, then restarting my computer so nothing was saved! *pulls her ears in frustration* Now there is...*counts*...damn... looks like more than 50... I downloaded a free trial of a scanner that repairs corrupt files and deletes viruses, and after it scaned, it told me that it would only repair 15 of the 306 it detected, unless I purchased the full version! stressed Sorry about the long rant... I just dont know what to do now... *sighs*

I've got a good news, finealy!
I'll be getting a dollfie soon, in the exchange of a week of dishes. It dosen't sound like a fair deal, dose it? You'd be shocked at our dishes. For three people, one whos not even there 60% of the time, we run two loads of dishes a day! Thats ALOT of Dishes! and why is this? Grandma and I hardly ever have the same meal; but we always cook somthing fancy for every lunch, breakfest, and moms in charge of dinner, and I'm in charge of Dessert. ( Mom insists we should open up a resterunt!) so Its not such a bad trade of, anyway. Gramma agreed to it, of course. smile
Today, if everything goes as planned, i'll be at the zoo for a few hours, I'm happy to say. I miss it there, and the amazing camera Ken gave me, i'm hopping to try out. I feel very lucky that he gave it to me; most people wouldn't appreciate a "hand-me-down" Camera, they're useualy no good. But this camera, which has a lense much more expensive then even my $2k laptop, is in excelent condition. The only thing, is that its not digital. Which is fine, I don't mind at all. Its an amazing, wonderful camera, and Its got the shutterspeed and incredible zoom i've always wanted. This'll make taking picturtes of, oh, Goliath maybe? razz Far away so he dosen't get excited seeing me comming, and quick enough he wont blur, which is awesome.
When I go on my Alaskan Cruise in may, I'll be able to take pictures when I go up to see humpbacks, and i'll get to go take some time to take pictures after the sled dog race i'll be attending. Its perfect; While on the cruise, i'm going to go see humpback whales, and go to a salmon bake.Another absolutely wonderful thing, is the sled dog races. I'll be sitting on the sled for 1/2 the mile, and then i'll get to mush the way back. Another thing, i'll get to go to a tea party at the empress hotel in victoria.
I'm going back to San Diego in late spring! I'm very excited about this, too. We're staying at a co-workers' mothers' condo. Shes not living there, and when she heard what happened to us, she willingly lent us her condo for as long as we liked. Which was very trusting and kind! We'll get to go to seaworld, the zoo, and go visit the meerkats. I'm planning to have dinner with Shau, and possabley go swiming with dolphins. I'm excited, understandabley. smile
Due to my Axiety, I am nervouse with people, but with Goliath with me, I feel that I can be at ease and relax. My axiety fades and i'm happy to be around small to medium sized groups of people. So we'll look into the whole idea of getting him registered as a service companion animal. i've heard its possable, but I don't know if they'll accept him.

Look at Delta Society and ARF for therapy animal. He may be able to be certified for therapy for others as well as yourself. The only place he probably wouldn't be able to go is restaurants with you since only the blind, wheelchair, hearing, seizure and diabetic service dogs/animals are the only ones so far included in the law, unless you ask nicely >.< And I'm happy for you, we like Happy NG

Shaviv FogSage Went to pyschiatrist today, who, after asking me the normal questions ("Do you feel worthless, have you contemplated suicide?, etc, etc.") I was referred to a pyschotherapy (councilling) service. At last, I will find out the root of my problems and take steps on how to make myself a better person. One problem. I paid 200 dollars to talk with a guy for perhaps forty-five minutes. Let's just say that after my next and last visit with him, I won't be wasting my time there any more. Are you in college? 'Cos if so, your college should have a health-care center where they will treat you for a discount price, or maybe for free.
I don't think community colleges have those, friend. xp
Yeah, our college isn't a big one. It's small, and only one building. If I lived somewhere else, it'd be a different matter.....but.......
