Frigga let Loki collapse, gave him a moment to cry before she slowly knelt beside him again, pulling him into a hug. “I know, I know my dear, sweet boy.” She murmured, petting his hair. “And I wish I could tell you how to see it, tell you exactly what to do, but I can’t.” she said softly. Frowning, she slowly opened her mind and pulled a few memories. “But I think, even now, there is happiness for you, if you let yourself see it.” She said, showing him her memory of Thanksgiving. The memory was tinged with happiness and pride in her sons. Not only were they surrounded by their family, but they were being pulled in and incorporated into the families of others around them. Loki wasn’t just in the family that included his children, but was brother to Bruce and Steve, close friend to Natasha and Clint. Letting that memory go after a moment, she pulled the image she’d seen in her visions, the one of Loki, happy and smiling, a baby wrapped in a blanket in his arms, a baby with Tony’s eyes, Loki was smiling at something that couldn’t be seen, likely at whoever had the other twin. “And I know there is happiness in your future Loki, I promise you there is.” She whispered.

As soon his mother had wrapped him in a hug Loki was throwing his arms around her clinging to the comfort she offered. He too wished that she could show him how to see the good that looked so far out of his reach, to see the happiness that she claimed he would have. All he felt though was like he was drowning in the darkness, darkness waiting to drag him down until he was unreachable by any light. He shuddered at thought remembering the darkness of the void and how consuming it had been. When his mother spoke again he glanced up to watch the memories she showed to him. Thanksgiving had been fun but loki remembered that it had been tainted by his lues. He had spent the time hiding the secret of the twins from his mate but telling his children. It was the memory of himself holding the child with Tony's eyes that had his heart clenching in want. He knew this had to be the memory of the vision that his mother had seen. He didn't know if this memory would come in the upcoming months or if it was further in the future but then again that was a happy thought too. To know that he would still have Tony in the future and be close enough to have more children. Perhaps even on purpose that time. *Mother...* Loki hiccup pedal but seemed to want to say nothing more than that.

Frigga pet Loki’s hair as he looked at the memories. She could sense his desire when he saw the vision. “You will have that Loki. I have not seen anything different since that vision came to me.” She assured him. When he called for her, Frigga just held him tighter and let him gather himself, slowly beginning to work on the barrier again. “you are going to have two healthy, beautiful babies. You are going to love here with a man that loves you and with friends that see you as family. You are going to raise your children like you wanted to. Loki….the chance for everything you want is here….you just have to grab it.”

Loki calmed more as he watched the memory and his mother pet his hair. He returned to leaning on her just a bit only Glancing up to here for a moment when she spoke. *No other visions?* Loki questioned sirprised. So much had happened since his mother had first told him of this vision, he had thought something he had done would change it. He continued to listen as she spoke of that future she had seen for him. *I wish for that with my whole being.* he murmured softly. Then taking a deep breath he sat up fully. *Thank you mother and I am sorry. Things have just been so difficult and I feel like I'm falling more than I ever have even with the void.* Loki explained.

Frigga let Loki have the time he needed and slowly let him slip from her arms as he sat up. “Everyone falls my son. You just have to realize that you there will be land for you to stand on again if you choose to find it.” She said gently, rubbing his arm. Finishing the barrier, she looked it over carefully, checking to make sure no cracks or weak points were visible. “With Thor’s energy this should hold a little longer, perhaps even deter Thanos a little.” Thor’s energy was powerful. HE didn’t have magic, but there was the combined strength of Odin’s powers and the old magic of Frigga’s line in his blood. Looking around, she frowned. “You should rest now, sleep. But you should spend as much time as you can repairing your mind over the next few days. The mind healer will be helpful…and I truly believe you can trust her. You can at least let her help you rebuild even if you protect your memories from her.” She said, slowly standing and offering a hand for Loki.

Loki gave his mother a gentle grateful smile before he looked up as she did to examine the barrier. He could sense thor's strength and his mother in it. He didn't think it would deter the titan but it was nice to know he would not have to worry about him for another few days. At his mother's words that he should sleep and rest he nodded. He wanted almost nothing more than to do that. *Bruce has me restricted to the bed until he's satisfied with my recovery. I will have nothing but time to work on it.* Loki stated almost unhappily. He still didn't know how he felt about the mind healer but he would trust his mother's words. *Alright mother I will give her a chance.* he promised after taking her hand and standing.

Frigga gave a little hum at Loki’s words. “His orders are much like mine would be.” She responded. If she were caring for Loki, she would have him confined to his room as well. Sometimes peace and quiet was the best medicine. Smiling at Loki’s promise, she looked to him, head tilted ever so slightly. “You are so much more than I could have ever hoped for my dear.” She said quietly. “I have been so blessed to have called you my son. You are so kind, so strong, and so intelligent. You will get through this, and you will be so happy you did.” She murmured, cupping his cheek and tilting his head up slightly so he was standing tall and straight, something she’d always lectured her sons about.

Loki gave an exasperated sigh but smiled at his mother when she said that her instructions would be much the same. He hated being confined but he knew it would probably be for the best. When she said he was so much than she had ever hoped for he looked shocked, sad and happy at the same time. *I am blessed to have you as my mother.* he responded softly. When she adjusted him he stood as she wanted just like the prince he had been raised to be. *You should go and deal with the situations you came for. I will be alright now.* Loki assured his mother.

Frigga watched him intently for a moment, smiling at the expression on his face. When he said she should go deal with the problems she’d come here for, she nodded slightly. Stepping close, she hugged him once again, hoping he knew just how much she loved him. “You will be fine my dear, you will get through this.” She promised. Stepping away, she touched his cheek and smiled again. “And never hesitate to contact me.” She added firmly. “Now sleep….know you are safe now.” She said before slowly leaving Loki’s mind. Coming back to herself, she was still sitting on the edge of the bed, leaning over Loki. Tony had yet to move either, still holding Loki’s hand, Fenrir curled close on his lap. The genius looked up when Frigga finally moved. The woman could only give him a gentle smile, cupping his cheek. “He’ll be fine. He’s resting now.” She assured him before turning to Thor. “Thank you my son.” She murmured. She hated using the energy and magic of others, but she’d been determined to give Loki a little more peace.

Loki smiled at his mother when she nodded agreeing to go back to the problems of the real world. He returned her hug and stepped back letting her do as she needed. He would delve deeper into his mind to sleep. *I will mother.* he promised his mother when she told him not to hesitate to contact her. When she told him to sleep he nodded and his existence in his conscious mind faded out.

Thor was aware of his mother coming back to the world and smiled at her. When she told Tony that Loki was resting now he looked relieved. When she thanked bim, he nodded and withdrew his hand from her shoulder. "I was happy to help mother." Thor replied.

Frigga slowly stood, touching Thor’s cheek gently as she smiled at him. She had such good sons. They were both so kind and so strong. “Loki appreciated it as well, even if he won’t tell you when he wakes.” She added. Straightening herself out, she looked to Tony with all the gentleness of a mother. “You should come Tony. When was the last time you ate? I’m sure Fenrir needs some food too.” She said gently. At her words, Fenrir slowly moved from Tony’s lap and climbed over Loki’s legs to the edge of the bed where Frigga picked him up and held him close.

Tony glanced up to Frigga at his name, but looked back to Loki, hand tightening around Loki’s fingers. He didn’t want to leave the god. Loki needed him, needed his protection. “Tony….” Frigga said again, a little slower and more firmly. “You must come. Loki is safe for now. You cannot help or protect him when you are exhausted yourself. And he needs you’re protection against SHIELD right now.” She explained. Still Tony didn’t move. “Thor…” Frigga murmured, looking to her son. Perhaps if he could get Tony moving at least then the genius would come with them.

Thor smiled at his mother brightly as she touched his cheek. "I am sure he does, as sure as I am that I will never hear a word of appreciation. No my brother shall show it in another way as he often does with his displeasure as well. " Thor chuckled. He stood back as his mother moved and watched his friend and nephew who stayed close to his brother. He was glad to see Fenrir move to his mother at the thought of food. Tony however didn't move and Thor frowned but at the same time he was pleased to see how protective his friend was being once more. He had not seen his brother and Tony together in such a way at all since they had found loki, and he could see how it was hurting both men. When his mother called his name he looked to her and nodded. He moved to the other side of the bed sitting gently. "Go my friend I will stay to protect my brother. His mind is protected once more, I will protect his body as well as the children he carries. You are needed however, you must speak with the son of Coul." Thor spoke lowly but firmly.

Tony flinched slightly as Thor came over, as if fearing he’d pull him away. As Thor promised to protect Loki, Tony hunched a little closer to Loki, frowning to himself. He didn’t want to leave, but Fenrir gave a sharp whine at the tension in the room and Tony seemed to snap out of it a little more. Looking to the pup, he sighed heavily and slowly set Loki’s hand down and got up. He’d have to send this agent home quickly. He still hadn’t really processed that it was supposed ot be Coulson. Coulson was dead. Frigga slowly walked Tony out. Skadi had decided to keep everyone but Thor and Frigga out and was guarding the door as they left, Steve having escorted almost everyone back to the dining room when he realized Skadi wouldn’t let them through.

Thor watched his friend, he knew better than to try and pull Tony from Loki now. Especially when there was no way to predict how the man would react. So instead he would make the promises that he hoped would give the genius the reassurance to be able to take care of the problems at hand before returning to Loki. He wasn't sure it was going to work until Fenrir gave a sharp whine almost startling Thor. The pup had been so quiet up to that point that Thor had almost forgotten his mother was holding the wolf. Then Tony was moving and Thor almost gave a sigh of relief. Tony would command more power over the house than any of the others and he was more of a threat to SHIELD. Thor watched as his mother walked Tony from the room and looked to his brother shaking his head. "You really must stop causing us such worry brother, the trouble you find yourself in is mounting. We are here for you however." Thor promised.

Skadi had stood guard at the door knowing that both his princes and his queen would not wish everyone to be a witness to the ongoing struggle for Loki's mind. He followed them back to the dining hall standing in the door way that led to the bedrooms and refusing to move. It was only when his queen returned with Fenrir and Tony that he stepped aside for a moment with a bow before standing in the doorway once more. "Perhaps now we can return to the previous conversation." Skadi stated with a look at Coulson.

Frigga smiled at Skadi as he bowed. She slowly settled Fenrir in his chair, murmuring with Jane and Betty for a moment before Betty left to fetch Fenrir and Tony a little food. Taking her seat again, she gently motioned for Tony to sit beside her. The room was silent as the Genius settled in, clearly not wanting to be there. When the genius finally looked up to see Coulson, he blinked, frowning darkly. “You’re supposed to be dead.” He said bluntly. “Loki has been tearing himself up about what happened under THanos’ influence, and you aren’t dead.” Tony was clearly not happy about the news. Even if he’d liked Coulson, he was so tired and stressed right now that he couldn’t bring himself to be happy.
