Maggots! I saw a thing on TLC where they were using the medical maggots. I guess after them being used for awhile, you'd get used to it. The only maggots I've seen were in the skull and on a dog that had been left in a spot for several weeks and when the people finally brought him in, we turned him over and his whole hindquarters were covered in maggots, eating away the atrophied and dead muscle.

shoki_de_nai Plenty of people would miss you. I don't know anything about coding and such, but have you tried the new settings? Also, I don't think it's all Gaia that's causing your distress...you seem easily frustrated about other things too, like DA. Makes me wonder if there's something else bothering you. it's a lot of things that just have built up. Struggling to finish and complete the crap load of art I seem to owe people, trying to keep a friendship together while people seem to seek to destroy it, sick, stressed, tired, worry about my uncle because of his kidney disease, my mom who has to be tested for the same thing, etc. Just all adds up.. I just wanted to do one fun thing and I ended up wasting my time on it.

Wow, that was a lot of absesses. XP I guess I've just been really lucky because despite all my wounds as a child, I've never had an abssesse. At least not one that I can remember that pussed up or anything. Just the usual scabs and such. XP

Whee.. One. <3 Omfg, we'd love fabric to work with.
Two, ew, absesses. I'm sorry NG.. That's a lot. o.o; I've never had one, but my brother's girlfriend had one in between her a** cheeks. It got infected. ~shudders~ It was horrible.
Three~ OMFG .. Me and Krys are going to go get ferrets soon! I have my eye on this little albino girl, and she has her eye on this sable little one I think is a boy. <333 We might buy them tomorrow if we get the rest of the money. I know, we shouldn't, we should focus on the okiya. But.. We need pets. I really miss the company of a pet.. And I've wanted one for weeks! ~Glee~

Though they make great pets, they make really bad impulse pets. Not sure if either of you have had one before, but they need a lot of attention. At least 2 hours (though 3-4 is much preferable) a day outside of the cage is a must. And this isn't 2 hours of play around the house or in a room while your doing something else, this is 2 hours of your undivided attention sort of play. Another big word of caution is buying from petstores is a risky game. They will most likely be Marshall ferrets, and while the ferrets themselves can be great creatures, the Marshall breeding line is horrible. You can just plan on a Marshall ferret dieing earlier, and suffering from some bad illness that will either cost you a lot of grief and cash. I would highly suggest going to a repetable breeder or looking at a rescue shelter before buying directly from the stores.

And, Krys has had one before so she has an idea. She's been guiding me through it and explaining it for me. And.. I'm not sure if we can get one from the shelter, but Krys says there's no breeders around here. Plus, she says we have insurance. But the albino girl was so cute!

Eh, well its up to you to decide if you want to take the risk. Of course you often get what you pay for. Yes, a petstore ferret might be cheaper up front, but if it gets sick down the line, that can easily arch into the thousands depending on what needs to be done. Honestly if money is that stressful for you at the moment, maybe you should hold off till you have a more stable amount of founds. Even with the best breed animal in the world, accidents and illnesses can happen. You need to make sure you can afford medical bills if they arise, and vets that will see ferrets are often exotics and tend to charge more.

I really do want a ferret, but I don't want to make a bad decision in this.. Even though she was adorable. e.e;
