Darksol88 "Quick Attack!" And yet another clash, one Aden was hoping would work a little better. Only, punches were met with repeated tackles. It made sense in context, at least to him. And Raticate had some speed on his side. Now things has gotten interesting. Aden is really getting into this fight. Unbelieveable. "Scizor! X-Scissor!" I shouted. After his last punch, Scizor sidestepped the Raticate and with one hard X motion with his claws, came down upon his adversary.

"I don't think so! Sucker Punch!" Raticate met the attack with a fast punch, attempting to throw Scizor off a little and lessen the damage he'd suffer. "You're not getting him that easy."

Darksol88 "I don't think so! Sucker Punch!" Raticate met the attack with a fast punch, attempting to throw Scizor off a little and lessen the damage he'd suffer. "You're not getting him that easy." "Sci!" Scizor yelped. "Not bad. Scizor! Reversal!" Scizor has taken a bit of damage right about now, time to make use of it. "SCIZOR!" With one mighty lunge, the Scizor went after the Raticate.

"Raticate!" Aden didn't see the attack coming, watching as his Raticate was slammed hard and left on the ground. That looked too painful, at least to him... but now might be his best shot. "Use what energy you've got left. Make him pay for it! Endeavor!"
In an attempt to bring Scizor crashing down, Raticate gathered his remaining strength to land one final strike. Now Aden was a little intimidated, realizing just how hard that Scizor could hit.

Now Aden was a little intimidated, realizing just how hard that Scizor could hit. And just as he can unleash a world of punishment, he could take it. He braced himself as the Endeavor came down. Though afterwards, Scizor however was not feeling too hot. This fight had gone on too long with this Raticate. One exchange after another with this rat, plus whatever damage Mareep managed to do. I looked over towards the Raticate, which couldn't be doing any better right now. Not after that. I almost want to think now that Aden is ready. "So tell me, Aden." I spoke up. "How are you feeling about a gym battle now?" I asked.

"You better come back, Raticate... you can't take much more after that." Aden spoke up, quickly recalling him. It didn't take long for him to reach an answer. If he could handle Scizor with some effectiveness, he might have a chance. "...Yeah. I want to make sure Mareep and Raticate are at their best, though." He wasn't too concerned about supplies just yet, as that could be handled afterward.

Here. Return." I said. I took out Scizor's Pokeball and recalled the metallic bug. "Aden, this was a dramatic improvement over to how you were yesterday, if you want to realize it or not. If you and your Pokemon can put up that kind of drive just as you showed me and my Pokemon, you can go pretty far in the gym leader tour."

"I'm surprised I even handled your Scizor. I was only aiming to hold my own as long as possible. But if they can get more experience, they'll do even better." The way he saw it, Mareep was in need of it more than the other three. But with his newfound drive and outlook, all of them could use it. If anything, he knew he had a better chance compared to yesterday.

If anything, he knew he had a better chance compared to yesterday. "Come on, Aden. Lets get your Pokemon checked out then lets just take a bit of a walk around. See if there are any trainers for you to take on. Something more for your Pokemon to get some practice on, hm?" I asked.

"I think what also doesn't help your Mareep's case is that her first battle, in essence, was against something she really had no chance at. She probably had one hell of a culture shock. While we're getting our Pokemon checked up, you may want to talk to her." I said.

I lead Aden back through town and back to the Pokemon center. I made my way through the front door and head towards the desk. "Welcome back." The nurse at the desk spoke. "Hey. Mind if you give a check up to a few of our Pokemon? Just got done with a sparring session not to long ago." I said taking out Scizor's Pokeball. "Sure. I can take your Pokemon." she said.
