RP: Tales End Inn - Lucia City

Elana came over, to Artemis, "sorry for interupting but" she looked around, "who's injured and what happened here?"

Prrnasya strains to overhear any information on what happened from the calls the vixen behind the bar, but she's too far away. When she approaches Prrnasya sits up and listens to her greeting, responding

"I'm fine for now, thank you. Just waiting for someone. But what happened here?"

She throws a quick glance out at the rest of the inn to indicate what she ment, as if there could be any mistake, when she sees that someone else is trying to get Artemis' attention. Prrnasya nods to Artimes to help this person, since they seem to be after almost the same information.

Vulpus

Elana came over, to Artemis, "sorry for interupting but" she looked around, "who's injured and what happened here?"

Groans and pinches the brim of her nose, "that is a very long story Elana, I'll explain as the wounded are tended to." Artemis leads Elana to the other "I think Kuro will be fine, just had his sense knocked out of him because of the explosion. Cade took a few bullets, while we patched him up the bullets have yet to be removed. Dracos got caught in a large explosion from outside... we are not certain how sever his injuries are... and I am not certain how to treat those of his kind. But if there is anything you need, let me know… I’ll make sure you get it.”

"Two in the shoulder, one in the side of my torso, all on the right." He muttered loudly as he groaned from the pain. "the bullets that is." he sighed, "If my brother ever finds out about this..." he muttered silently.

Elana nodded sagely as she was escorted to the injured, she had Cade sit down, "don't worry about that right now, relax I will do my best" she opened up her med kit and took out a pair of tweezers, scalpel and a sering and bottle of morphine, getting Cade to remouve his shirt as gently as posible, she scrutinized the bullet holes and drew out a dose of morphine, "you're going to feel a prik and sting, then it won't hurt as much" she said offhand and gave cade an injection of painkiller, then she went to work on the ones in his arms, opening the wound a bit and using the sterile tweasers to remouve the bullet depositing them in a small metal container from her bag then aplying a salve and clean bandages

Cade stayed calm and took a deep breath as the needle went in, he never did like them. Felling better with the morphine he just stayed calming, taking nice slow deep breath he relaxed once he heard the 2nd bullet hit the pan. Once she had finished bandaging him he raised his right arm and wing to allow her to get the one in the side of the chest, just an inch below the heart.  

[Manda_Tifa]

Manda had completely blanked out after Kleah left. "Brave little pup..." she thought to herself. She would have gone with him, but she felt there was only need for one messenger. She sat in the kitchen, staring around at the counter, stove, freezer, and various other kitchen appliances. She was no cook whatsoever, and usually avoided the kitchen at all costs. Her ex-fiancee used to cook for her....but in the last week and a half she had been surviving off of Tae's wonderful cooking. A small, guilty part of her was thankful that nothing in the kitchen had been damaged. Sudden sounds in the basement indicated the return of Kleah and, hopefully, Elana. She stood up as they entered, and left straight into the main room, and Manda followed.
Every time she entered the room now, her eyes would roam, and take in the damage that had been dealt. Not much had changed, except the arrival of a new Anthro, one Manda did not recognize. Elana went over to Cade and Manda went to Dracos to see how he was doing. He was still alive, but that was about it. Wandering over to Elana, she knelt down and surveyed Cade's damage. "Do you need anything, Elana? I'll do whatever I can to help..."

Elana got Cade to lay down, she examined the bullet hole and shook her head, "I would apreciate a bit more light, mother of gawd Artemis who the hell decided to go after this place this time I don't know but this fellah is lucky to still be breathing" she looked at Cade a worried look on her face, "I will do my best but I ain't digging around here, its a bit too close for comfort for me to just poke around, and inch up and you would be pushin up daisies I reckon" she waited for a bit of light to be brought over and exacmines the wound

Sits down in a chair after getting herself something to drink, rum and lots of it, she get ready to explain what happened. “A couple days ago a hunter wondered in here, quite by accident, coming in just for a drink. They had no idea what this place was at the time, but I do not it was hard for them to figure out. They ended up leaving with there being an incident, but I got scared about what would happen next. If I wanted to, I could have just taken care of it that nigh, had the hunter silenced before they could tell anyone about this inn, but I am tired of people getting killed I needed to find a more permanent solution. That is when I contacted my uncle Xathrus and asked a very large favor of him. It seemed though I was a little late and the hunters showed up soon after we brought him here.” Artemis sighs and drinks some of her rum “I think we are just lucky he was able to finish his spell before this place got completely destroyed. At any rate, the protective wards he put up here will insure that no one will ever get hurt do to a violent act here ever again.”

Elana grunted in the affirmative way, "aye but at what cost, if you ask me artemis one less hunter in the world is better than three dead or injured revolutionaries in my books, why didn't you get me sooner?" she shook her head, "don't answer that I know the inn is important to the resistance, just know that you ain't alone in this and if anything goes wrong you get your patrons and yourself out aye?"

Manda, hearing Elana's request for light, ran to the kitchen and returned with a utility flashlight, flicked it on, and held it on Cade's chest. "I agree with Elana, Artemis....it's so much easier to fight a war with an army than it is to march in by yourself...We should get as much help as we can, y'know. Next time something happens, I volunteer to hunt down Elana."

Manda, hearing Elana's request for light, ran to the kitchen and returned with a utility flashlight, flicked it on, and held it on Cade's chest. "I agree with Elana, Artemis....it's so much easier to fight a war with an army than it is to march in by yourself...We should get as much help as we can, y'know. Next time something happens, I volunteer to hunt down Elana."

"You won't need to I think I will find a place closer to here until things settle a bit, I don't like the idea but my cottage and this inn to me are crucial in this fight, but some ferals don't know to head for the woods if things get back they head here" she grimaced and examined the wound thanking Manda for the extra light

Prrnaysa listens to Artemis' story. "Is that so? Sorry, but I'm really new to this area. I barely know what's going on here, but it seems like you have a serious situation on your hands. This place may be protected now, but..." she trails off and sighs. "Sorry, but there isn't much I can do for you. Where I come from this just doesn't happen. Then again, where I come from there aren't many ferals either."

Ariel opened the bullet wounds quite a bit larger than the other two and held it open with a second larger set being very delicate she found the bullet hadn't broken the pleural sac (the thin membrane that keep the lungs from collapsing) but it was dangerously close to the heart concentrating only on where the points of the tweasers were she remouved the bullet and placed it in the jar, and closed up, as she closed the wound and drassed it she sighed, "you sir will have to find a bed and sleep this off, no getting up for a good day to make sure you are alright" she whipped her brow and put the bloody scalpel and tweasers in a second jar with cold water and disinfectant.
after a moment she looked at Artemis, "alright next patient"
