I can get the poportion right with the stick man and everything but I dont know how to draw my character over it.

Well, here's a tip, you should draw them naked. I'm not saying draw a p***s or anything, just draw them without clothes, and then draw clothes over them. That's how it usually works.

Thats the problem, I can only draw the skeletal base of the figure but I can't 'add' flesh onto. I have no problem drawing clothes since I'm inspired to be a fashion designer.

Ohh. Look up the human anatomy. Every artist has to know the anatomy. It's basic but it helps a lot in the long run. If people just know how to draw one part of the body instead of the whole thing, then it's gonna be hard drawing a person together.
