Remy looked at Jason, a slight tilt to her head. She started to sniff, then kept sniffing. 'What is that?! It smells so good!!' she thought. She began to wag her fluffy tail and tipped her nose higher. She wanted to find out what that smell was! She took off in a clumsy run toward the source of the smell. What could it be?! She ran faster, slowly adapting to her new body. She didn't even think if Jason would be mad, he would understand her curiosity.... right?

Rufus bit his lip he knew he was breaking rules for going out into the forest and being out of bed but this was an emergency. Archimedes Rufus pet cat has gone missing. He looked all over the castle and Archimedes had his collar saying who he belong too and the house he even had a blue collar. The forest was the only place that Rufus didn't check and he could not sleep knowing his cat could be endanger. Takeing out his wand he softly said."Lumos" his wand started to glow with the light of the spell. "Archi... Archimedes here boy" He called every once in awhile trying to find his cat his wand ready to defend himself if something came up.

Remy kept running. She had smelled something new, and heard a voice. Her human side knew the voice, but her wolf side wanted to investigate. Remy ran, quite clumsily, to the source of the sound. She saw a boy standing there, looking a bit scared.

Remy jumped, tackling the boy to the ground. She sniffed him all over, her tail wagging madly. She licked his face happily. She bit her teeth down, very close to his eye, then stole his glasses. She sat on him, investigating what she had just found. She figured out a way to wear the specs, then looked at Rufus with what could only be a smile.

Rufus was tackled to the ground his wand thrown from his hand on impact. He closed his eyes fearing the worst. Only it didn't come he felt a hot breath and a lick then something took his glasses. This seemed vary familiar to the animal lover. Opening his eyes he can still not really see in the dark so he reached out hesitantly to the thing sitting on him. Groping around to feel the beasts face. No snout would be the better word. "A dog?" His hand moved up to the dogs head and found his glasses but moved higher behind the ears and scratched. There's a good boy. He said not really sure if it was a boy or a girl since he could not see.

Remy felt her head being scratched. She cuddled his hand, dropping his glasses back onto his chest. Remy's tail wiggled until... she heard it. Had Rufus called her a BOY?! She growled at him, her gold eyes becoming slightly darker. Her tail stopped wagging, but instead curled up into a tail-pouf. She sat down on his stomach, and pressed her nose to his. She looked the part of an angry female wolf. Glowing eyes, poofed tail, long teeth... Her human side watched carefully, not wanting to hurt Rufus. He was so nice!!

Rufus felt his glasses fall on him and putting them on he saw the outline of the beast on it and yellow eyes. Suddenly the thing growled and took a more angry stance he saw in animals but why he was fine a moment ago and seemed to like him scratching. Was it something he said...No thats silly dogs or wolves should not get offended by what a human said but then again there where Kneazles and they where vary smart."Um I'm sorry" He thought back to what he said replaying it in his head thinking of what set her off/ "good girl?" He said hoping that would calm her.

Remy accepted his apology. It seemed sincere enough. She started wagging her tail again, then licked Rufus's face happily. She curled up in a ball on him, still sore and tired from her shift. The boy was so warm! She simply had to cuddle!

Rufus let her lie there and he petted her partly because he had a love for all animals. But mostly because she was too big and heavy to push off and he did not want to make her angry again. Besides having something that could defend him in the forest is not a bad thing. If he could only say the same thing for his cat.

Remy cuddled, excited to have a friend. Her ears suddenly perked up as she heard a soft mewling. She stood up on Rufus, listening for the sound again before running off. She found a tree, the noise much louder, and tried to climb it. Her human form was quite talented at tree-climbing, but the same could not be said for the wolf. She turned her nose into the air and released a long howl.
"AWHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Rufus coughed as the canine stood up on stomach crushing him a bit once she got up he turned to his side and held on the his stomach. He saw a smooth stick that could only be his wand. Picking it up he checked to see if it was damaged at all. After feeling it for any cracks it seemed fine. He looked to his dog friend now that she was standing up he saw how big she was. Nearly as big if not bigger then he was. Something up caught his attention a mewing of a cat. Looking up he could see the furry outline of his cat."Archimedes!" He could not help but raise his voice he was glad his cat was safe "Hold on I'll get you down Wingardium Leviosa" He did the spell as he levataed the cat down from the tree closer to him so he could hold him. Once his fear for his pet was over his mind started to work again he looked to the overly huge dog and a bit afraid now called out. "Lumos" The wand shown with a light and he saw in front of him was not a dog as he though but a werewolf. He held his cat protectvly and took a careful step back.

Remy watched as her friend rescued the cat from the tree. She wagged her tail and gave another wolfish smile. Her gold eyes stayed locked on Rufus, watching him and the cat. She cocked her head when he moved away from her... hadn't he just wanted to play?! She took a step forward, cuddling her head in the crook of his neck. Her long tail wagged so hard a small cloud of dust had formed behind it.

Rufus froze as he saw that the werewolf was not going to let him leave that easily. He wished he could have made it one more year before facing a werewolf. Second years where not taught about them. Closeing his mind he tried to calm himself thinking of chess moves as he thoght of the best way to escape. After a second he pointed his wand at the werewolf"Rictusempra!" He called casting the tickling charm on wolf hoping to distract it as he turned and ran.

Remy saw Rufus pull out his wand. What was he going to do? She watched the lights it her, but it seemed... ineffective. She tilted her head and watched Rufus run off. Didn't he want to be her friend? She howled mournfully, painfully alone in the midst of the dark forest.

AWHOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOO!"

The sound was a heartbroken, pitiful noise. It made her sad that her only friend left. She suddenly remembered Jason, who she had abandoned several minutes before. Where was he now?!

Rufus ran till he was clear out of the forest. Once out he was breathing hard nearly keeled over with how tired his legs where and how scared he was. He survived a encounter with a werewolf and was not bitten. He was lucky to say the least. He heard a mewing in his hand and looked to his cat."I don't want to hear it, do you know how much trouble you could have gotten me in?" He scolded the cat but he was so glad that they both where safe he thought that he could let telling the cat off till later.
