Whats worse is that the team proposing games to lucas really tried to avoid another jedi game, but Lucas forced em to do it.

Why not make a game where you're part of a squad of stormies, etc.?
Like, Storm Commando: Project Maw
The " training " is as a stormtrooper, but the main game takes place as a commando in a small squad of them, and each of your buddies specializes in certain skills, etc. and the idea is blast rebels all over the place and sabotage their attempts at a superweapon of their own.
It'd be something different, IMO.

It'd be something different, IMO. They already had a game like that, it was called Republic commando, and it was pretty fun.
