Loki allowed himself to be led over to the couch and sat down. He glanced up as Tony took the seat beside him still holding his hand. When the man said that Natasha had a good reason to come red eyes looked up widened in concern. He still hadn't figured out what he had done to make Natasha angry and now Tony thought there was a good reason for her to be mad. He watched Tony glance to the door and followed the gaze to find Natasha. He felt his heart beat speed up again not knowing what to do, he had thought Tony had come to help him but Natasha was still here and Tony thought she had reason to be. It was only Tony keeping hold of his hand that kept the god from moving back to hide behind the bookcase again and listening even as he tried to keep an eye on Natasha in case she moved. When he heard Tony say that he had never had a baby shower he blinked in confusion until Tony clarified that he had never had a celebration for his pregnancies. He was still confused unsure what that had to due with Natasha being mad at him. He become more confused when Tony said that he thought Natasha wanted to throw one such party for him. If that was so why had she yelled and threatened him like she had wanted to do harm to him. And how had the topic even come up about the celebrations for pregnancy, he didn't understand and posed a questioning look to Tony.

"I do indeed but first I want to kill someone on Asgard. Probably the king. Skadi still wants your mom right. He can be there to consul her when I kill her husband." Natasha stated from the door a bit malevolently. "Clint I will need my knives for that." she demanded next but Clint merely shook his head.

Tony squeezed Loki’s hand when he felt fear run through the god again. Seeing the questioning look, Tony shifted, trying to figure out what Loki was confused about. The party we’re throwing for Natasha soon is a baby shower.” He offered, thinking that the god might be confused about that still. “Thor mentioned having something similar on Asgard.” Looking to Natasha when she spoke, Tony looked thoroughly unimpressed by her returned anger. Natasha couldn’t kill Odin in her condition, even if she somehow managed to get to Asgard, which he knew Thor wouldn’t allow. It was another part of her statement that caught his attention. “Wait….Frigga and Skadi? Are you serious?” he asked quickly.

Understanding came over Loki's face as Tony explained that the party being thrown for Natasha soon was a baby shower and that Thor had mentioned their celebration on Asgard. That explained how the topic had come up but how then had the anger at him come about? He still didn't understand that and he wasn't sure about the anger at Odin though he didn't discount that it was his fault he had never had one. He didn't think Thor would have known that though. When Tony questioned about his mother and Skadi he frowned. Tony had been the one to mention it to him, maybe the other man's mind was as bad off as his to not remember that but it didn't matter. He nodded in confirmation instead about his mother and Skadi.

Tony shook his head. “Well I guess he’d be better for her than Odin…” he said slowly. “Wonder if he’ll ever say anything to her about it.” Looking to Loki then, he tilted his head. “So….would you like to have a baby shower? We don’t have to do anything as big as Natasha’s, just who is in the mansion and closest family and friends.” He offered. Maybe bringing up the offer would help snap Loki out of his mood and drag him from this study. “You deserve the chance to celebrate the twins….And this is not Asgard….we want to celebrate you….”

Loki couldn't help but almost smile at Tony's statement that Skadi would be better for his mother than Odin was. He couldn't deny it and Odin was his own father but he had always felt like Skadi had been more his father throughout his childhood. When Tony wondered if Skadi would ever say anything Loki shook his head. He knew Skadi would not, not unless Odin was dead which gave merit to Natasha's plan of killing the king. He looked to Tony when the man posed a question to him. A baby shower? It had entered his mind with the twins before that he might have one but Odin had put a stop to that as soon as Loki had thought it. Now however he was on Midgard, he didn't have to worry about Odin. Still he didn't know and he didn't want to cause trouble in the mansion when he had just come back. He wasn't sure where he stood with everyone and he had been less than pleasant the last few days. Tony's declaration that he deserved to celebrate the twin and that they wanted to celebrate him had Loki nodding softly still a bit unsure but agreeing. He did want one, for the twins, and wished he had one for his other children.

When Loki agreed to the idea of a baby shower, he smiled a little. “Good…but if you want a party, you have to drag yourself out of this study a little. You’ve got to talk to us and help us figure out what you want and what you don’t want.” He told him. Looking over to Natasha, he waved her over, though he didn’t move to leave, not wanting to leave the two alone just yet, both still a little too emotional. “I think Natasha could tell you a bit more about it all. She’s been bossing the rest of us around for the past few days, so she should know.” He joked. “And we can get Thor to bring your kids for the party.” He added, figuring that would cheer him up a little. Loki always enjoyed having his children around.

Loki tried to return the smile Tony gave him still a little unsure about where they were. He frowned at the prospect of having to leave the study and talk to everyone. He couldn't get anyone but Thor to understand him without help, he didn't know how choosing things was going to go if he couldn't communicate. He didn't know what he wanted for a party for his children, he had never been to one or even seen one. How was he supposed to know what was necessary for such a thing, it was why there were people to plan these things on Asgard. Pulled from his thoughts when Tony waved to Natasha he eyed her warily still unsure what her intentions for him had been. He was glad Tony didn't move however. Hearing that Thor could get the rest of his children had him looking back to Tony a bit happily for a moment before the thought of not having such a party for them made guilt eat that up.

Natasha watched as Loki nodded agreeing to a party and smiled. Well that was one thing solved, she would make sure he had a party and despite what Tony had said about closest family and friends she knew who she was to invite. Loki deserved a good baby shower and she would make that clear to the others. A perk of being pregnant was that no one argued with her much. When Tony waved her in she walked in slowly Clint following behind. She smiled at Loki to show she meant him no harm when she saw his wary look. "I have not been bossing...okay maybe a little but nothing would get done otherwise." Natasha argued as she sat down in the chair Loki had knocked over earlier that Clint had set upright for her. "You don't have to worry about planning much, I think I can handle that. But Tony is right you will have to make some decisions on things. Mostly on what you want to get." Natasha explained. She had noticed the guilty look Loki had after his brief moment of happiness and decided to speak with Tony and Bruce later. Loki's mood were too far often dark when he should have some happy ones, it needed to be figured out. "I am sure your kids will be happy to attend, maybe we can get your brothers from Jotunhiem too." Natasha suggested. Loki looked up at that a contemplative look on his face. She knew he had been cautious about them before the ice but she hoped he had decided they were alright since. She was not disappointed when he gave a slight nod. "Good, I'll make sure Thor sends an invite to them along with your kids." Natasha said smiling again.

Tony arched a brow at Natasha when she started to argue only to smirk when she corrected herself. Listening to Natasha, he relaxed as Loki seemed to find everything at least workable, even if he didn’t seem thrilled by all of it. When he agreed to having his brothers come, he was surprised. Loki had been unwilling to invite or include them so far. Maybe that would be a good thing. “If you want, I can show you how to make a baby shower list online. You can find things you’d like to have for the babies or things that would help make life a little easier for you, make a list, and people that come bring some of the things you’ve said that you wanted.” He explained slowly, hoping that would relax him a bit. He may not be able to communicate easily, but he could scroll through a webpage still. “Though we should tell everyone we invite they might consider getting double of whatever they buy.” He said, carefully moving a hand over Loki’s stomach, seeking out movement from the babies.

Loki looked to Tony when he sensed his surprise at him agreeing to invite his brothers. He understood Tony's surprise after all he had been very apprehensive about them before but they had helped immensely with the ice. And he was sure it was a secret they didn't really want the other realms knowing. When Tony offered to show him how to make a list on the internet he gave a slight smile and nodded. He would be able to choose what he wanted for the children and spend a bit of time with Tony. He didn't see how he was losing with this. He nodded when the man said they should tell everyone to buy double since they were having twins. When Tony rested his hand on his stomach he felt the twins kick recognizing their father's touch and he gave another soft smile.

Natasha smiled at the two men as she watched them. They were both so tentative with each other, unsure of what was allowed. It was almost like they were dating for the first time all over again. And that was the thought that stuck in her head and came out her mouth. "You should go on a date!" she declared.

Tony rubbed Loki’s stomach slightly when he felt the kicks. It was nice to know that the twins seemed to like him being around. Or at least it was nice to trick himself into thinking that. Though he was still a little disturbed by some of the babies’ movements, not sure how that couldn’t be supremely uncomfortable for Loki. He was still distracted by the babies when Natasha spoke. Looking to her with confusion, he glanced at Loki to try and judge his reaction. “What are you talking about Nat?” he asked slowly. He had no idea where that had come from. Even before Loki left they hadn’t done much ‘dating’, so it wasn’t like she had much to go on with the suggestion from that side.

Loki smiled as Tony rubbed his stomach. It was a pleasant sensation to feel his rubbing and the babies kicking. Sometimes they kicked somewhere that made him wince but otherwise it was merely a dull thud under his skin. When Natasha spoke he jerked his head up in surprise and confusion. Go on a date? He blinked at her unsure how to take her words. He wasn't displeased by the suggestion just unsure. It wasn't like he could go out as he was, pregnant and as a jotun. He was sure the scenario he had speculated before he had left would happen.

"You understand English Tony. I'm talking about a daye. You know dinner and a movie sort of thing. I think the last one you guys had got ruined, you can do another one now." she said smirking.

Tony snorted as Natasha said he understood English. Just because he understood the words didn’t mean anything. Listening to her, he sighed. “As nice as that sounds, it’s not exactly doable Natasha. The press is already clamoring to catch sight of me or Loki because they haven’t seen us in months…And then there’s the problem of a pregnant man going out in public, and one that just so happens to be blue and have horns.” He pointed out, though he didn’t let go of Loki’s hand. He’d wanted to go out on more dates with Loki, but it had taken such careful preparation before, now there was no way of avoiding attention.

Loki looked to Tony when the man snorted frowning softly. He didn't know what the snort meant but he didn't think it meant anything good. He nodded at the date not being doable. He knew the press was probably going crazy, he had seen a bit of it from the magazines Kalani had acquired while he was away. He couldn't imagine what they would do seeing him pregnant not to mention blue with horns. Tony point that out adequately, still he regretted not having the option. He was glad that Tony hadn't released his hand, if he had Loki would have thought that the man didn't want a date at all with him ever again.

"Tony, you have a whole mansion and the most powerful AI in the world are you telling me you couldn't design something here in the house. You can have a date at home you. Clint and I do it all the time, of course it generally leads to other things. But that is beside the point." Natasha stated shaking her head. "You could have all of clear out for the night too and then have the whole place to yourself." she continued.

Tony listened to Natasha, frowning slightly. He always tried to go above and beyond for dates. He wanted them to be fun and memorable, and he wasn’t sure he could do that at home. But at the same time, they needed to start rebuilding somewhere and they needed to do it before the babies were born. So they seemed to have little choice. They could try for a nice dinner and figure out something to do together. Biting his lip, he looked to Loki, tilting his head a little. “Does that sound like something you’d like to try?” he asked softly, watching Loki’s reaction closely.

Loki listened to Natasha understanding her idea. It could work, being in the house and having a date. It would mean someone would have to watch Fenrir and they would have to be secluded for it to work but it wasn't a bad idea he didn't think. He looked to Tony as he saw the man look to him and asked him if it sounded like something he would like to try. He nodded softly. He did want to try it, he wanted so desperately to be close to Tony and this had been the first time in days that they really had besides at night when they slept in the same bed. But even then there was an obvious distance. *Yes.* Loki answered aloud. He wanted this, wanted it to help fix things.

"Great!" Natasha exclaimed. "Do you want to plan it or should I?" she asked. Being stuck in the mansion without missions had been driving her crazy and having something to do or plan was something that could distract her from that fact.
