I remember that, PVC pipe covered in insulating foam wrapped in duck tape. It was called NERO out on the west coast, but that was a long time ago.

@CW; I think you asked me this question at the beginning of the weekend. Yes I play D&D, but its old skool D&D and only sometimes. What we mostly play on the weekends is the old D6 Star Wars RPG or Twilight 2000.

It’s an excellent way to end the work week. We gather at my friend’s house, have a BBQ and a few cold ones, (weather permitting), and game till the wee hours of the morning. Saturday after we get up we go have breakfast and resume game. Sunday is the day of recovery before starting a new work week. That why I’m not really around after 5, (my time,) on Fridays.

Mmm, sounds like most epic fun. ^^ Takes me back to memories of my old playgroup. Every Saturday, we'd all go over to the place of whoever happened to be hosting it that night and do D+D kind of things 'til the wee hours of the morn. Always wanted to do some Star Wars with them, but we never quite got around to it.

Let just say we never really grew up. We’re the same group of people who got together after school and gamed. We have some new blood but the core gaming group has been together for over 15 years. We’ve played Star Wars, Twilight, D&D, Robotech, TMNT, Rifts, Cyberpunk, Mekton, Shadowrun, Gurps, and Hero System. I think these others but I don’t really remember. I think that I’m rambling and that must mean that I’m tired. Then there’s the rp’s that we’ve thrown together, like character sheet from here, stats from there, equipment there.

As I said I never played D+D but I did play magic in school and it was quite fun. there was this one guy who I looked up to as the macig god and I never beat him. it was good times.
