Embry nodded, and then sat back down. "have a seat with my Sub. We have a bit to discuss. Mainly, why being a dark type trainer, do you have a ralts in your arms?"

"Actually, nothing too much." Freth said. She reached with her free arm to pull from her neck and hold it out. "He got me a new white gold chain for this." He then said. "I had this for some time now. My mother gave it to me when I was just a little girl. The chain I had before broke years ago...I blame Celcius for that..." She said.

"I always meant to get her that at least, but part of me always got her something else because I thought it would be...I don't know, better." I said.

"You don't always have to impress, Blizzard." Freth said, rather sincerely.

"Yea, you're right." Giving Tails a slight squeeze. A hug either way you cut it.

"Perhaps you should take a break then, Blizzard?" Freth asked.

"Huh?"

"You've been training pretty extensively lately." She said. "Rather it being fighting or working with chi. I know why you're doing it. Its because of Miles."

"I've been working hard for a while, Freth."

"But not THIS hard. Blizzard, one of these days you may win out over Miles, one way or another, but you're being a bit of a hypocrite at the moment." she said. "You know..." She then started to have a bit of a mock voice. "Can't really push yourself too hard otherwise you'll accomplish nothing."

"I didn't think I was really pushing it that hard." I said. "Still though, you're right about one thing. I don't really see myself surpassing Miles anytime soon, that said, I kinda want to show I had been working on it at the very least." I said.

Jhoto/Kanto Border

Ryan placed his right hand on Skyla's left arm. "Well, Now that we have finally caught one another, shall we head back to Mistralton, or head a little ways east to my hometown of Cerulean" he asks her.

Ryan smiles. "Then let's head for my hometown. I think you will really like it." he says. It was then Ryan sensed something and turned around. He looked up to the sky. There was something flying their way. Ryan knew that chi signature and cursed his luck under his breath.

Ryan didn't answer. he just waited as the Pelipper finally swooped down and landed on a rock near them. He would walk over to the giant water Pelican. "Open up." he says. The Pelipper nods and opens his beak. inside is full of water. seconds later a Clampearl would surface. Ryan would tap the top of it's shell. "Open and let me have the message." he says. The Clampearl opens and in the mouth of the clam inside is a note. Ryan takes it. "You both can return." he says to the pokemon before opening the note. The Clampearl closes up and sinks back down as the Pelipper closes his beak. The Pelican than takes off. Ryan then flips open the note.

You are to meet me at Cinnibar Island. You will be told your task then.

Short and Sweet. Ryan sighs. "Looks like the trip to my hometown is going to have to wait. I have been summoned by my Sensei." Ryan says as he slowly walks back over to Skyla.

Ryan smiles and gives her one last hug. "Don't worry, I won't. As soon as I get back from this task, I will be on my way." he says to her.
