Meera looked downwards, no longer in a bout with the voice.
"Fine," she blurted, tearily, "Have him.
It is only you he cares for, now,
But he shall forget you as he did me.
Happiness, I curse you, for this while,
For surely he will turn and then you'll see."
She spoke these words to Lore and then turned to her master.
"Do not promise things with reasons of lies."
She turned, ashamed at allowing someone who cared so little for her to see her so unclothed.

(He's being so deliciously evil!!!)

Mobius sighed. "Love is blind... Sometimes, that is good. It allows people to set aside differences, and find mates beyond the scope of the norm, as I did you, Lore. But it has a dark side. Meera was in love with me, and blinded herself to all other possibilities than her vision of perfection. Because she loved me, she couldn't accept anything but a 'yes'. Beware of such things, Lore... They can come back to bite you in the hindquarters
someday... Meera ma not react so kindly."  

[Bellabie]

Meera returned to the circle. Their chantings cased as she neared, uncovered and tear-stained.
[I'm not trying to be evil, though... Perhaps I'm doing something wrong...]

Ryukai growled. There is nothing for you if you stay with him. I can help you kill her, I can help you gain your master's love.  

[Bellabie]

"Sisters, I entreat you,
Remove this voice from me;
It clouds my heart's intentions
And makes it hard to see.

Or he will not have mine

So I might see signs and set things straight."

You must kill the other, you stupid woman! You know it is true. You must kill her, or I shall never leave!

Lore's eyes watched Meera sadly. "Meera..." she murmured. When Ryukai had enetered her mind, she ignored him. She was not a violent person, she thought with a sigh as she gently took Mobius's hand between her own two. " I...know..." She bit her lip slightly, and shuddered for some unknown reason.  

[Mileena Chardonnay]

He held her tight. Then, after awhile in each other's arms, he lifted his human hand toward his face. "These past few days haven't been all bad, it seems. While my heart is dead and my lungs bring no air, my hand is somehow alive again. It may be painful, but I may return to being a human, and share the day with you once more..."  

[Bellabie]

[Er, Meera is away, now...]  

[Demonic Repentance]

((He means Lore.))

(She was speaking to Lore. stare )  

[Bellabie]

[...or to Miss Ry Dusk, yes.]
The many armed elders lips remained locked.
"Have you no words?" Meera's tone was weak and desperate.
The sisters shook their heads solemnly and with disappointment.

(The sisters are wise, indeed. Magic was never meant to meddle with the forces of love. Alas, poor Meera will probably never realize it...)

((*blinks dumbly*))

Lore looked up with a smile, rubbing her thumb over his pinkened flesh. "I love you just the way you are," she said simply.

[Oh, hardly, dear.]  

[Mileena Chardonnay]

(She meant that she may not entirely understand. ...I think...)

He sighed. "I would even stay in this form, if you wished it. But, alas, I miss the sun. I miss being warm. I miss being able to feel warm. ...I miss being able to live without having to make others die. I want to know once more what a daylight sky looks like; I've actually forgotten. I want to be able to see people other than drunks an party-crazed adults in the streets. I want to know once more the peace of true sleep, and the warmth of a bed. I want to live... But I'd gladly die for you." A single tear started to roll down his face.
