Darksol88 The first part was good news to Aden. It at least meant that he'd have a good chance of attempting a rematch today. The other... he couldn't help being just a little afraid. He knew that he'd inevitably be getting there sometime. But the fact that he'd ultimately be fighting the teacher of his teacher was going to be rough. Never mind the fact that he'd see an even bigger emphasis on ice, one that'd rival a single trip to Snowpoint. But, he felt that maybe he shouldn't let that fear grow. By that time, he'd be more experienced and more able to hold his own. "No kidding... and that won't even be the end of it." He finally said, watching Mareep relax. After some more tending to with the Mareep. Checking and tending for anything under her wool, her feet and so on. Mareep would probably feel a considerable amount better right now. As soon as she was done with Mareep, she'd move on to the Raticate, taking a lot of care to what she did. "Well you try to take care of your Pokemon, ok? But I suppose that would go without saying." She said with a laugh. "Your Pokemon are in good shape, and I have no doubt they will be even better down the road." She then walked over to Scizor, checking him. "Its astounding to see Pokemon like this. So thoroughly trained like this." She said. "A Gym's discipline no doubt." "Courtesy of the Mahogany Gym." I said. "Ironic, considering." The nurse said with a bit of a laugh. "Your Pokemon are all fine." she said. "A bit on the tired side, probably from whatever training you underwent, but nothing that sitting on the sidelines for a hour or two wouldn't fix."

Only, Blizzard lacked anything even resembling a banjo, and even if he did have one, Aden seriously doubted he'd ever stoop to playing one. On top of that, there was no such thing as a song able to do that, at least in this world.
So yeah, it had no effect and didn't really happen. Now back to the actual matters at hand.
"I wouldn't be surprised there. That Scizor is rough." Aden commented. He didn't really think too much of the irony; it wasn't like Blizzard was passing off a cold demeanor to boot. However, he couldn't help being a little surprised that there was any hint of thorough training. To him, it was basic at best.

Scizor hopped out of the bed and walked over towards me. "Don't push things too hard now, ok?" "Of course." I said. "Here are your Pokeballs back." She then said, handing over Aden his two Pokeballs for Mareep and Raticate, and my one for Scizor. "Thank you. Come on, Scizor. How about you relax for a bit, huh? Return." I said, recalling the bug back into the ball.

"Got it. Thanks." Aden felt that it went without saying, but the least he could do was affirm that he heard what was said. "Here, it'll be easier for you two the rest in here. Return." Both Pokemon were recalled at once, and he looked over at Blizzard after putting both balls into a pocket.

We got a few options to choose from as far as battling goes. Theres the eastern route, the one heading towards Cherrygrove that we might be able to find a few trainers." "If I may." The nurse spoke up. "The trainer's school is looking for tough battlers to test the likes of the students there. The gym would take care of that, but with Falkner and Jackie having their own battles to take care of, they're willing to take any help they can get." "You know, that might not be a bad idea." I said. "How about it, Aden?"

Before Aden could give any sort of answer or ideas, the one offered by the nurse had managed to throw a slight curve ball. He was reminded of the short time spent helping in the Pre Gym when his discipline had started. It felt a little odd ending up at a similar place out here, but it'd serve well. He'd get practice, and it'd test the others that needed it.
"I didn't think there was another place like this around here. Yeah, I'm for it." He answered.

"Oh there's some sort of place like the trainer's school here that has its own place where your mettle, some more extreme than others." The nurse said. "The PRE gym back in Orre for example, Aden." "There's the Trainer's House in Virdian City in Kanto also." The nurse then added. "And in the much more extreme cases, probably the ultimate test for anyone that's a Pokemon Trainer, the region's local battle towers and frontier's for that matter. In fact, there's one here in Jhoto, Aden, just outside Olivine City."

"Yeah, I was thinking of that actually... maybe I should try a round with Justy there next time I'm around there." Aden said, thinking aloud. He wasn't too crazy about the idea of possibly going to a tower or frontier, being reminded of the common coliseum circles in Orre. "I think I might want to hold off on the towers or anything on the sort until I've covered a gym circuit."

"That's usually what most trainers do anyhow, because they know virtually the best of the best head off into the Frontiers." I said. "They are by no means easy. At any rate, we'll head off to the school then, thank you, Nurse." "I'll call over there if you like and let the teacher know that you are coming." she said. "Thank you, that'd be great." I said. "Come on, Aden, lets get going."

"Ah, thanks." Aden made a personal note to give a frontier a shot later on. Maybe after such a time where he had an eighth badge. By then, he might have enough experience and ability to actually handle it. As he was, he wouldn't have a chance even if he was allowed to participate. With a quick nod, he hurried after Blizzard.

I lead Aden out of the Pokemon Center. "Truth be told, the Pokemon Trainer school isn't all that far from here actually." I said. "Just, whatever you do...don't mind the teacher there too much. He's...a bit weird." I said.

"Weird how?" Aden asked. "If he's anything like what we've been around over the last year or so, I don't think there's that much to worry about."

Darksol88 "Weird how?" Aden asked. "If he's anything like what we've been around over the last year or so, I don't think there's that much to worry about." If only he knew... We walked down the streets for a good few minutes until we found our way to the school. The school as Aden would find would be nothing what one would call luxurious. Nothing like what the Pre Gym would look like. Like most buildings, the school had that rustic feel to it, and it was fairly large. The grounds were fenced in, and had one large Pokemon battlefield, to teach, spar, and hold battles. No one was outside though so it would be safe to assume they were inside. "Well, here we are Aden." I said.

The rustic feel didn't bother Aden all that much, having been used to it from being around Ecruteak for so long. However, comparing it to what he knew of, he couldn't help questioning if it was indeed a school. "This... is a school? I know I'm a little spoiled since being to the one in Orre, but..." He soon realized, however, that maybe he shouldn't be so quick to make any sort of judgment. Looks were often deceiving, something he had unfortunately learned the hard way. Needing the practice, any little bit would help.

I finally made my way to the door and made my way inside. Inside, it was a lobby with two halls connecting to it on each side. Classrooms, cafeteria, so on, anything that a school would possibly need. The lady behind the desk perked up and looked over towards me. "Oh! I take it that you are the ones that Nurse Joy called about?" she asked. "That'd be us." I said.
