Stevie cursed herself after in the dairy aisle beside heard her talking to herself and pointed out there is a farmer's market. She was not aware that a farmer's market was taking place. No doubt she would have gotten all the ingredients she needed for dinner tonight. Maybe there is still time for her to pass by the market if it is still open. The only thing she may keep in her basket is the milk. After she was done quietly cursing to herself, she turned her head to look at the one who is speaking to her. Her ears picked up on his accent and there is no doubt where is from. She has not met another Irish person since her arrival, and it was nice to hear something that feels like home, especially coming from someone who is not as lost as she is. Of course, she could be making the wrong assumption despite how doubtless she feels about this man. She still replied to him in such a way that makes the conversation feel like the two of them knew each other for a while,
"Ye don't say. I suppose I need be going there fer some quality ingredients. Thank ya fer telling about the market...by the way, are ye from Ireland? The name is Stevie."

Duncan cocked his eyebrow and smirked, "Aw, sure look it. Nice t'see someone from the same cut of the cloth out here." There was a genuine good humor to Duncan's voice that wasn't there before. Was it from meeting someone that reminded him of home? Or just the casual break from the craziness he experienced last week at Viv's place? He wasn't really sure but he didn't want to read too much into it either way.
He extended his hand towards her, "O'Callaghan. Duncan O'Callaghan."
"Here love, fancy a bag'a chips?" "Sure we had a whale of a time!"

Stevie took Duncan's and shook it softly for two seconds before letting him go. It is so strange that today out of all days when she decided that she wanted to make something that reminded her of home that she meets someone who is from her homeland. Well, in her case, it is technically her second home, but a home nonetheless. Call it coincidence or fate, but Stevie cannot deny this feeling of comfort. It truly is like seeing a friend who she has not seen in a long time, even though this is the first time she has met Duncan. She ought to make her way to the farmer's market, but she should not leave so suddenly. Perhaps he would like to accompany her. In exchange, she could save him a portion of her meal for today and have him come to her workplace the next day to pick it up. Of course, this is all up to him.
"I suppose I should be making my way to the market before it closes. If yer not busy, do ya mind taking me there? Knowing myself, I'll probably get lost trying to find it. And don't ya worry. I'll be sure to repay ya in some way if ya agree."

This was one of those moments where Duncan needed to stop and think for second. The last time he followed a stranger somewhere, he had to beat a man half to death with a frying pan. What could possibly be the odds of things going wrong a second time? Admittedly somehow pretty high given past experiences.
"...Ah hell, why not? I didn't have nothing planned for the day. I'm happy to escort ya Ms. Collins."
"Here love, fancy a bag'a chips?" "Sure we had a whale of a time!"

Stevie cannot wait to go the farmer's market. All the fresh food that is bound to be there. The only thing she will be purchasing from this is the milk. Everything else she hopes to get at the market. Even if she fails to procure everything she needs, she can always work around it. It may not even be a Sheperd's pie. It could be a fine Irish stew. She will find out when she gets there. With a big smile on her face, she made her way toward the register to pay for the milk. All the fresh food that must be at the farmer's market...the thought of what she might see almost made her salivate. Once she paid for the milk, she walked outside and waited for Duncan to join her. When he arrived, she said to him,
"Are ya ready to go? If so, lead the way."

Zayid looked on his list as he walked through the paths of the grocery store. there had been a few things that he needed to get as he was running low. His basket had already several types of vegetables and fruit in it. As well as some different types of juices and even a few bottles of soda. Of course that wasn't the most healthy, but since Zayid lived a very healthy life, it didn't matter if he would drink soda now and again. Zayid always still favored the meals from his homeland, but Tony had inspired him to consider other meals as well. As much as he was fond of the Egyptian kitchen, he had to admit that it was a little hard to get the right ingredients to cook it all. So perhaps spreading out a bit wasn't the worst he could do.
As he wandered into the paths, the man stopped when he got to a wall of postcards. Of course there was nothing he could do with them. Part of his safety was to ensure no one could look back at his trail to find him. This had included contact with his family. Not that it had been a super big transition after his youth. What stopped him though was the postcard that showed the mystical fruit of the island. You really did see it everywhere didn't you? Still he didn't linger for long. Right now his mind wasn't really on relations and the like. He just lived his life day by day and enjoyed his new home. His attention went back to his list and he continued his shopping.

Having finished her shift from work, Lin Jixue strolled across the aisles of the grocery store. Her blind date and herself had decided to postpone for the next day; hence, here she was. She figured since she had more time to prepare, the best thing she could do was purchase things for her gift. This would by no means be the first time she'd made tableware that made its contents infinite, but it would be the first time she'd have to adapt it for this specific era. She figured carving it out of bamboo would be too old-school for the other's tastes- these days people used either melanin tumblers, thermos or glass and porcelain cups, certainly not a time for wooden cups unless they were going for specific aesthetics.
While she was at it, she might as well get some grocery shopping done. The ability to sense anytime a room within a relatively large distance of her was entered or left was a headache but she figured it would be worth it. Her garden was hardly ready for any sort of harvesting- in the first place her house was still full of unfinished DIY projects and she still had to organize how her crops would be. The 'bottomless' thermos tumbler, she figured, was a lot simpler compared to the others. She'd probably finish it by the agreed time her date had agreed with.
She sighs, grabbing a few radishes, beets, potatoes, carrots and the like before placing them in her basket. While she was at it, she might as well start with crops that were easily replanted. She just had to figure out what she had to plot with these. Then after that she had to figure out the company crops and how to rotate them throughout the year but that was by no means surprising.

Starting the day and after getting ready, Veronica drives off on her motorcycle downtown through the streets. Along the way, she comes across a grocery store and she immediately drives up to it and parks her bike in one of the designated spots. After parking I lock my bike, remove my helmet and put it in one of the cabinets on the side of her bike. She then turns to face the entrance of the grocery store and walks in

↛Themorning light had disturbed Freya from her sleep, and the growling of her stomach soon pulled her from her bed. Having looked through her house earlier that morning, she had realized that she hadn't been to the grocery store in quite some time and needed to buy some essentials, meaning food. Having walked there, not worried about the carrying load of groceries she would have to haul home. She wasn't unaccustomed to carrying heavy weights long distances. Her tail swayed gently as she walked into the building. Taking a deep breath, her ears perked and her ice blue eyes shifted around the take in her surroundings. She hadn't been to a grocery store in awhile. Really, it had been awhile since she had been inside any sort of building that required foot coverings. Her ears stood up as she remembered to pull her shoes out of her shoulder bag and slipped them on, grimacing at the thought. She hated shoes, with an absolute passion, but she'd abide by sanitation laws. Grabbing a small cart, she started her way around trying to keep her tail in check too so it didn't brush against anyone or knock anything over by accident if it got caught on.

Zayid was on his way to the Grocery Store to get some shopping done for lunch that day. It was a special day to him personally. Not only did he enjoy Halloween a lot, he also was officially a free man starting today! He literally just came from the police station where he had his last meeting with his parole officer. After looking at the way he had been behaving so well since he was offered parole and a place in Soleil, his officer agreed that the young man was ready to wander the world as a free man once more. All his documents had been sealed and locked away and he no longer needs to call in to the man. Zayid left with a wave and had made straight to the grocery store. Not that he would go overboard right away, but he did want to cook something Egyptian as he missed his homeland's food. Not to mention that it was Halloween and kids might show up at his house for candy. It wouldn't be fair to send them away without any.
Zayid was whistling cheerfully as he arrived at the store and walked in. Once inside he stopped, just in case it might not be well received if he would walk through the store whistling and all, and he walked along the isles to get his groceries. After taking a basket he took his shopping list for today from his pocket and checked it over once more. He was well on schedule with his training as well so he could cheat with food this once. He was going to cook himself Koshary today so he needed the ingredients for it like macaroni and garlic. The Arabian wandered passed the shelves and picked up ingredients as he passed them, once he had all of that, he added some other groceries that needed stocking up. He wasn't in a hurry, so he took his time and wondered to himself what to do for dessert and whether or not Abu would soon join him again. He could go traditional for his homeland, or perhaps he could look into some of the more local stuff. He did move here after all and as much as he missed Egypt, Soleil was his home now.
