Queendsland = Tropical
Victoria = Cool temperate

Savvy?

We have some palm trees, but not the same ones you have, and not a lot of them. They're not native, so it's not good to introduce them anyway.

yea i figured but it was soo weird..... i dunno.... i missed em after a while xp

Don't worry, I understand.

It would be like going over-seas and not seeing a single gum tree.

Apparently eaucalypts are becoming a real pest in America. They were introduced and then they just took off, you know, because they're just so bloody tough they can stand pretty much anything. So yeah, they're having real problems controling them.

So if you went there maybe you wouldn't miss the gum trees so much.

I think if I went to another country I'd miss magpies.

AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! xd

Ok I'm over it.

The last of the European Aristocracy used Eucalyptus wood in fires because of the nice smell. 3nodding

And apparently, there's a good strain of Eucalyptus trees that is becoming wold renowned for a good fast growing hard-word.

And Magpies, I forgot about them. We have a few around, but I love their call as well.

Yarr. They're bloody everywhere in Albury. We have a couple who nest in our back yard and swoop our chickens in spring. They're annoying, but I'd miss them. We've got really friendly ones at uni too. There is one who has learnt how to run in behind people when they open the door to enter the cafeteria. Then it runs around to all the tables and begs for food. It's fully orsm.

A family of Magpies has roosted just behind my friends air-conditioner. You can see bits of the nest sticking out from behing it.

My nana who lives in Ballarat also has a number of Magpies which come ot her for food. They've been staying in Port Fairy reccently though, and she's adopted yet another Magpie. It comes up to the back door and taps its beak on the glass.

Passionberry -- Hehehe, that reminds me of The Simpsons. xd
