A new face entered the Roman city from the east gate. Lance had been traveling from place to place trying to avoid suspicion. He'd been alive for what seemed an eternity and someone that didn't age drew too much unwanted attention. So the young looking drifter wandered into the town square by the fountain to get a better look at the layout of the town. He was looking around for a sign that said something along the lines of bounty hunters wanted. He knew he could work for that job in his human form and it would be a perfect cover. Then before he transformed Lance could travel far away from the town into a feeding ground and come back after the full moon had passed.
This was a pretty good plan and he had the timing down almost perfect. There is something about this town that makes my fur stand on end. It is almost as if people are watching me right now. His ears perked up and his eyes scanned around him. His sight and hearing were abnormally good being a werewolf and all but not quite as sharp as they were in his transformed state.
