Jira slept peacefully in his bed, curled up around the large egg he'd come to possess a full month ago. He'd been fawning over it all day, doing everything he could to keep it warm and comfortable. Though he slept, the egg did not remain inactive. It began to flash brightly once in a while and the slightest, imperceptible twitch occurred infrequently. As time passed throughout the night, these occurrences would become more and more frequent.

"Ah ha! They're here!" Sub said as he walked into the headquarters, opening an envelope with several slips of paper inside. "I'm sure everyone will love this! Doing something other than stopping insane people from destroying the environment that is." He laughed, his Ralts at his feet, followed suit and laughed also, though it wasn't sure what her trainer was laughing about but she still laugh regardless.

With Mikey here, Miles would be here at any time. I was trying to pretty much get things ready for him whenever he did finally show up. I was relatively excited, actually. I was in the kitchen trying to work up something as Mikey, Tristen, and Tails was still asleep in bed for the time being. Freth was in the main room of sorts, sitting there with her Walrien close by, tending to it. Pampering, for the most part, in my opinion.

I was in the kitchen trying to work up something as Mikey, Tristen, and Tails was still asleep in bed for the time being. Freth was in the main room of sorts, sitting there with her Walrien close by, tending to it. Pampering, for the most part, in my opinion. "Good evening, Freth. Taking care of your sea cow I see." Sub said as he encounter the main area and spotted the Articuno hybrid as she tended to her Walrein. "I kid. How have you been, Freth? Haven't seen you lately. Where is your other half?" He asked, implying Blizz.

"Hey, sorry about the wise crack big guy." Sub said to the Walrein as it protested. "The kitchen huh? What's he been doing in there for so long?" He asked. "I usually only see him in there just long enough to get a coke, what's the occasion?" He asked Freth.

Blizzard120 "Not just Miles." I said. "And a guy can cook too, you know. Something beyond a bland microwave meal." I then said, looking at Sub as if to dare him to challenge me on that. "Is there something you need?" "I kid bird brain." Sub said as he leaned back in the chair. "And I didn't realize popping open a bottle of coke counted as cooking." He laughed, but then became more serious as he sat the chair back on all four legs and leaned forward on the table. "I take offense to that, I so selflessly took my precious time to visit my good friend, and he thinks I must want something from him, I'm hurt. Maybe if I had a tail or twenty I would be treated better." He said turning his head away, dramatically, as if he was some sort of soap opera actor.
