There was no mistaking the pain or anger which Micha had displayed. He could have hurt Samuel with his fist sure but he would never. Micha had experienced such pain before. He had never raised a hand toward a boyfriend. It had been hard to hear Samuel had cheated on him but seeing it had been two different things. Micha had been fine up until he saw the scratch marks. It was what pushed him over the edge.

As he teased Samuel, he listened to him laugh. Micha smirked lightly as Samuel whined. He wasn't bothered by the idea, it could be fun though he doubted Samuel would want to. Micha reached across the table toward Samuel. He listened as Samuel commented on the idea of taking it slow with sex.

Micha agreed as well. As enjoyable as the sex was, they needed to take breaks. There moments together couldn't always be about sex. He wanted to do other things with Samuel; normal dating things.

He watched as Samuel picked up his hand and kissed his knuckles. He shifted his hand lacing it with Samuel's.

He couldn't say for sure whether or not he would be interested in trying out such a toy. After all, he'd never used one like that before. Normal dildos? Sure, he liked them well enough. Micha knew Samuel wasn't the type of person to get off on toys alone. He didn't blame him. The idea was enough to be boring to him. Although with another it could be fun. However right now, it would be best to take things slow. Micha didn't want to lose Samuel again.

Teasing Samuel, Micha couldn't help himself. He wasn't bothered by the idea of Samuel's twenty questions. After all it had gotten them talking. Micha listened as Samuel seemed to agree about the idea of relearning things about each other. He shifted lacing their hands together. "I never said I hated your twenty questions." Micha teased as he relaxed across from Samuel. He was happy to be talking things out. Micha too wanted to move past Paris as well.

Samuel didn't mind the male teasing him. It helped ease the tension a bit after such a heavy conversation. He wanted to think that the more they talked about things like this it would get easier. As hard as it was he was glad that they talked, and not only now but other times as well. When he spoke, he couldn't help teasing him a little as well before talking seriously. He knew there was a lot to learn about Micha, especially if they ever planned on living together. It would be better for them to learn these things gradually rather than dumping it all on one another the day they moved in together.

He smiled as the male laced their hands and listened as he teased him once more. "Hate, no. But I get it if it might become tedious. We could always try other games. How do you feel about never have I ever? Since you're not drinking anymore, we could drink soda or something instead." he replied. Samuel relaxed as well. He was feeling better after talking and it seemed that Micha was too. He knew in time if they kept talking they would find a way to move forward. They just needed to stay open with one another.

Hate was strong though sometimes the game got old. Micha didn't mind though as long as the questions were reciprocated. He listened as Samuel replied. Micha had never played such a game before. He however understood the grounds for it. Micha nodded at Samuel's thought of using something else beside alcohol. He was thankful for the consideration. "Hmm, well I've never played but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be fun." Micha commented as he thought about it. There were too many things and not enough that he didn't talk about with Samuel. It made him wonder what Samuel might bring to the table for the game.

Indeed the game could get old, thus why he was suggesting something new. And if that didn't work he supposed they could always talk like two grown adults. However his options did at least remove some of the tension and provided them a bit of fun. Samuel was more than happy to answer any questions Micha might have for him and he knew there were still some things he didn't know about Micha either. Even just going over the stuff they already knew would be good as he wondered how much stuff he might have forgotten in all of this time. He liked to claim that he remembered everything about their relationship, but the truth is he wasn't entirely sure he did. Memories were tricky in that way, though so far Micha had been good at keeping up with the few they had recalled. Even though it ended up in a mess, it was still fun looking back on some of their times together.

As Samuel gave Micha another option, he watched him nod along. He didn't mind the thought of swapping out the traditional water. If anything, a game like this might be a good way to get his daily water intake. But that was something else entirely to worry about. Focusing back on the male, he smiled as he mused about never playing before. "I think we'll be fine so long as we're both honest." he replied. Samuel didn't mind revealing some things about himself. After all, he knew he wasn't entirely honest with Micha in the past and there was still plenty he could tell him about. A few games like this might make it easier to choose a starting point and filling in those blanks.

Micha was all for the game. It would give them both a more understanding of each other. He knew there were still things about Samuel he didn't know. Even today, he was learning new things. Micha listened as Samuel commented about being honest. He nodded at his words. Micha had to wonder what secrets would be discussed. "Fair enough." He responded wondering how honest they could be with each other. Micha wasn't saying he would lie but being truthful was hard at times.

Samuel was looking forward to learn about Micha. It was kind of nice to take a break from things and just be open with each other. Watching the male nod, he smiled at his words. Even though there was no way of knowing what sort of things might be revealed. He wanted to stay positive and think that they could both be honest and not hold back. Guess he would find out soon enough. Sighing softly, Samuel took a glance towards their half-forgotten plates. "So did you want to stick around and try to eat a little more?" he asked curiously. He understood if Micha was full or just didn't feel like going back to eating. It was oddly hard to think about going back to normal after such a conversation. Samuel had eaten a little more than half of his food, so it wasn't like it would be leaving too much if they decided to leave. But he was also opening to just staying here a little longer.

Micha was happy to be on a more understanding ground. He knew that the conversation had gone from friendly to uncomfortable then back again. Micha watched as Samuel sighed as he looked at their untouched food. He could feel his stomach grumbling as Samuel questioned him. Micha released Samuel's hand pulling it back. "Yeah, I should probably finish." He responded as he grabbed his plate pulling it closer. Micha started in on his breakfast again. He hadn't eaten much of it yet.

Samuel was glad they had been able to go back to normal. He likely would have been stressing out the rest of the day at work if they hadn't. As he sighed, he looked down towards their plates. He didn't know if Micha wanted to stay and finish eating. It wouldn't be the first time they left a meal half-eaten. However that didn't seem to be the case this time. Samuel laughed softly as the male released his hand and pulled his plate back towards him. "Probably. I doubt they'd appreciate us wasting food." he teased. Picking up his fork, Samuel turned his attention towards his own food. He continued to eat the remainder of his eggs whilst sipping his coffee every few bites.

In the last few days, they had spoken more to each other than the few months they had been together. Micha knew it sounded horrible but was true. They both had trouble with expressing themselves. He was willing though to work on their communication skills only if Samuel was willing. So far they had been doing rather well even with the few bumps on the road. Micha pulled his plate back toward him. He nodded as Samuel commented on the idea of wasting food. Micha went about eating his pancakes. He grabbed a piece of bacon as well munching on it.

It was true, their communication skills were lacking the last time together. There had been some moments here and there that it seemed they talked more openly, but mostly it was after a fight and right before having sex. Samuel was glad that they were talking more and he was willing to put in the effort to try to talk more despite how hard it was at times. For Micha, for their relationship he would try. Turning his attention back to his food, Samuel picked up his fork and continued to eat. As he teased the male, he glanced over to see him nod. Samuel smiled before focusing on his plate. In two bites, he finished off his eggs and turned his attention to his own pancakes. Cutting into the warm, fluffy cake with his fork, he popped a piece into his mouth. It was sweeter than most of the things he ate, especially for breakfast, but he rather enjoyed the taste. It had been some time since he last ate pancakes since his sweet tooth was not as big as Micha's own.

Micha didn't want to fall back into their old ways either. He loved Samuel enough to realize his mistakes. Micha knew running away hadn't done them good. However perhaps it would make their relationship stronger. He continued to eat his breakfast. Micha watched Samuel as he finished off his eggs then moved onto his pancakes. He found it amusing as Samuel wasn't big on sweets where he was. Micha enjoyed cream and sugar in his coffee where Samuel liked it black. He didn't mind their differences after all, what good would it be if they were similar. Micha finished off his bacon as he continued to eat his own pancakes.

Whether or not running away from their problems was actually a good thing he couldn't say for sure. Though he was sure with time he would find out. For the moment he was just happy that they had stuck to talking things out. They had hit a few bumps here and there but nothing they couldn't sort out like adults. Samuel continued to eat his breakfast as he took his time eating his pancakes. It wasn't something he ate very often but he still enjoyed it from time to time. Just not too often. He didn't mind their differences either, it made things interesting as he was always learning something new. After taking a few bites, Samuel picked up his coffee cup to take a sip. He glanced towards Micha to see he was slowly making his way through his own meal.

The differences between them were many but it was what made them who they were. He was happy to be given a second chance and knew there wouldn't be a third. Micha continued eating his breakfast. He finished off the last few bites of his meal. Micha set his silverware down on his plate. He pushed his empty plate aside. Micha grabbed his half filled coffee cup and sipped the reminder of it. He watched Samuel as he sat across from him.
